The Death card does not mean someone is going to die. It does however signal a period of grieving. This usually happens when a certain phase in your life has ended, and you are "grieving" this loss. It could be the end of a relationship, the loss of property, a radical change of identity, or any other situation that marks a specific end in life.
The Hanged Man is about pause and perspective. Focus on asking the right questions, not on having the answers. The Hanged Man invites you to change the way you look at things, and change the way you do things. Different actions lead to different results.

The Justice card is probably the most straight forward card of the entire major arcana: it refers to the concept of justice! This card also points to matters of the law, the courts or anything related to our social system of justice.

The Wheel of Fortune reminds us that life doe not always go as planned. Sometimes it goes even better than planned! So it's good to trust the process and trust that good things are on their way to find you. This card is also linked to the concept of Karma. Everything we put out there comes back to us, whether good or bad. The Wheel of Fortune appears to tell you that there is a whole world of probabilities and external factors you simply cannot have control over.

The Hermit is the ninth card of the major arcana. This card invites us to take some time away from the distractions of the outer world and other people's opinions. We must sit quietly with ourselves to find out what our soul wants for us. We have a guiding light inside of us and the best way to access it is through solitude.

The Tarot Deck is divided in two parts: the major arcana and the minor arcana. The major arcana consists of 21 numbered cards plus the card zero "The fool". The minor arcana is split in four suits of 10 numbered cards and 4 "court cards". The suits are cups, wands, pentacles, and swords. In this episode, we open Salim'as first Tarot deck and have an overview of what the arcanas represent in a reading. We also look at each minor arcana suit separately and explain the fundamental meaning of each. This episode is an excellent way to have a clear setp-by-step introduction to Tarot Card reading using the Rider-Waite Smith deck and gets your intuition kick started in motion.
