HANNAH SCHMITT IN HER OWN WORDS
My name is Hannah Schmitt and I own The Treasury with my husband, Brian. We opened this space in 2018 to be a productive space for local women. We didn't quite realize at the time what it would grow into.
After working from home as a magazine editor for four years, I saw a need for a space where women could be productive and take care of daily business tasks, without splurging on a private office.
At the time, I loved the freedom of working from my dining table, but I longed for a professional place to host meetings, receive mail, print documents – and maybe even bounce ideas off other humans every now and then.
So Brian and I set out to build that: a haven where you can knock out your to-do list without the distraction of a sink full of dishes, where you can have a client meeting in a quiet conference room without your kids screaming in the background, and most importantly, where you can build meaningful relationships with other amazing local women.
I'm proud of the comfortable and chic space we've built in The Treasury, but I'm most excited about the community and friendship among our members. We are all in this together, and we'd love to cheer you on, too.

ABOUT ERIC MUHIZI
Eric Rutingabo Muhizi is a motivational speaker born in Katanga, the Democratic Republic of the Congo. At a very young age, Eric and his six siblings were forced to flee their country due to multiple civil wars that took place in their hometown. His family migrated to Burundi in 2000 in search of a safe area they could call a new home. In 2004, they migrated to Uganda after seeing the genocide in Gatumba camp. Upon the USA reviewing their case, they were granted a refugee status Visa in September 2008, and settled in Oklahoma.
Today, Eric is dedicated to helping people in his community, acting as a leader and advocate for international students at his school and back home. With God’s grace, Eric wants to go back and give back to his community, knowing how it feels to walk in their shoes. He wants to put a smile on every child’s face and empower them to grow with a purpose. Eric’s goal is to build an organization for people in need whether it is refugees, orphanages, widows, or whoever needs help. He wants them to grow with love, happiness, hope, and belief that they can achieve anything they set their mind to.

TAYLOR DOE: CREATIVE ENTREPRENEUR & THOUGHT LEADER
How do people get to where they are in life?
Since graduating from the University of Oklahoma, Taylor Doe (aka TDoe) has lived between, what Martin Luther King Jr. called, the “Two Americas”. He has worked in corporate America at SandRidge Energy, founded a tech company with one of his brothers, and for the last decade has devoted himself to building relationships and community initiatives in Northeast Oklahoma City. He has done all this while straddling two economic classes, which has given Taylor unique insights on how opportunity is unlocked for some and remains locked for others.
His recent work invites listeners to unpack what he calls ‘And Then Moments’ – the seemingly overlooked moments in life that actually help people succeed. Taylor believes when people do the work of uncovering these moments, they are then challenged to unlock opportunity for those who have historically been left out. Only then can society begin to create more equitable communities and cities where more people thrive.
His curiosity on topics such as empathy, trust, social capital, and opportunity quickly grew as he juxtaposed his own story of safety nets and unlocked opportunities against stories of those in his community with fewer resources. Taylor believes that trust is the most valuable resource in the world, which drives him to continue to create trust-building opportunities between the “Two Americas”.

ABOUT MATT HANGENMatt Hangen started working with Water4 in 2010 while living in and starting water businesses as a missionary in West Africa. Already training well drillers and building equipment, Matt and his wife Grace linked up with Water4 after searching for a better way. Water4 shared their desire to find sustainable solutions and to do so out of a love for God and neighbor, so it was a perfect fit.
Matt was initially hired to design what would become Water4’s sustainability model by training on drilling technologies and selecting, mentoring, and scaling local partner businesses. As CEO of Water4, he now has the pleasure of ensuring that vision is carried out through the local leaders he so intimately knows. Matt’s vision is to end the need for charity by empowering entrepreneurs to solve the problem, and coming alongside them to achieve their potential. He doesn’t see Africa as a problem to be solved, but rather a continent of potential and endless possibility.
Matt is married to his best friend Grace and they live in rural Oklahoma with their two beautiful daughters. Matt is a triathlete, ultramarathoner, lifelong reader, and lover of the outdoors.

ABOUT ERIN LEWIS
Erin is a people-watcher. Airports, malls, the DMV, the middle seat in
coach - she sees them all as laboratories, places to observe behavior
and tease out human truths.
Erin's natural curiosity about others' motivations made her a natural for
brand planning and strategy, a calling she took up at The Richards
Group, a Dallas-based advertising agency, after graduating from the
University of Oklahoma. Her major in advertising and minor in sociology
gave the Sooner a deep appreciation for the humor and irony of moving
closer to the Texas Longhorns. While at The Richards Group, Erin
worked on brands including The Home Depot, Chick-fil-A, MD Anderson
Cancer Center, Ram Trucks, Grocery Outlet, CAN Capital and with The
Richards Group's design affiliate, RBMM.
After a nearly decade-long career in the Lone Star State, Erin ventured
back north to her home state of Oklahoma, where she currently leads
brand strategy for the NBA team the Oklahoma City Thunder - a unique
opportunity to combine her love for sports and her home state with her
love for building strong brands.
At the Thunder, Erin is responsible for the development, oversight
and implementation of brand strategy and planning, as well as general
marketing executions. She's the gatekeeper and the protector, the
disruptor and the problem solver, the point guard and the coach - each
day driving more intentionality and purpose; challenging the norm;
pushing forward the culture, thinking, and ideology; and uncovering
new and relevant ways to connect this already beloved brand to people
in even deeper and more meaningful ways.
When not at work, Erin loves to travel, practice yoga, ski, and get lost
in a good book (especially when a beach is involved). She also loves
to explore and discover unique shops and restaurants in OKC's
micro-communities. To shop and eat, sure. But mostly to watch.
