A weekly devotional from Faith Family Fellowship in Spanish Fort, AL. Join Pastor Matthew as we walk through Scripture.
We are back in Hebrews 4:7-11 and the Sabbath Rest that God allows all people to enter by faith in Him and His Son's redemptive work on the Cross. He beckons us to come trust in Christ today and enter His rest.
We are back looking at the rest of God, offered to the Israelites yet fulfilled and given to those who are in Christ. Hebrews 4:3-6.
We are continuing with Hebrews 4 and looking at entering God's rest in the first 2 verses. God's rest is open to us today, may we enter His rest through belief in Christ.
One verse in Hebrews that addresses the essential truth of a believer's longevity in the faith as the earthly proof of one's confession and of Christ's saving work applied to one's life. Hebrews 3:14.
Hebrews 3:13 and the warning of God that sin entertained with harden our hearts to recieving God's word.
Let's look at a few more verse in Hebrews 3 about the divinity of Christ and the hope God's people have as part of His people in whom He abides.
We are returning to Hebrews this morning with the second verse of chapter 3. Jesus is a faithful servant in the house of God just as Moses and with greater honor as the creator of the house. Christ Jesus as the Lord of the people of God and the singular cause of our inhabitance in God's house is reason for our love and kindness to one another.
We walk through the first verse of Hebrews 3 and focus on the shared reality of God's people, who are called by Him to one faith in the singular work of Christ to redeem. This leads His people to contemplate Christ.
