We are all better prepared to do some things. Some thingsare better handled by a doctor. Brain surgery should never be performed by anauto mechanic. One parent is usually better at soothing a hurting child thananother. Some tasks should be left for those individuals who are best preparedto accomplish them.
When it comes to “impossible” dreams or events, it is bestto leave those things for God. God’s ability to do anything was once again ondisplay during the first Christmas.

While most of us do not like it, waiting is a part of life.We wait to pay. We wait at the doctor’s office. Elevate our stress and anxiety,and it seems like we wait even longer. We can’t get around the dreaded wait.
The Bible tells us Simeon and Anna waited a long time forthe first Christmas. In chapter 2, Luke introduces us to these two faithfulbelievers, and tells us they were eagerly anticipating Christ’s arrival.Simeon’s exact age is not revealed. He is only referred to as an elderly man,so we can assume he had been waiting for Jesus for many years. Anna is84-years-old, and Luke says she has been coming to the temple daily for 60years awaiting the arrival of the Messiah. That’s 60 years of watching, hoping,and waiting.

There are many circumstances that can creep in and plant “weed seed” in our lives.
