“Babe,” he said calmly, “what are you doing? You have that look in your eyes.”

It took approximately 43 minutes to birth our child after spending time on YouTube and figuring out the best way to deliver a child that’s extremely fragile. I turned to my left side and hoisted my leg mid-air as though I had a medicine ball in between my thighs. I lightly pushed when there were contractions until I felt pressure. Afterwards, I didn’t push, but let my body do its thing.

The entire time I was in this chilly position, I changed my favorite mantra aloud and in my head. “The abyss may corrode our land, but not our iron will. In death, I shall be reborn!”

Each contraction felt horrible, but satisfying enough to know I was still alive. During the last wave of contractions, I felt like I was a tank from my favorite MOBA game (Belerick from Mobile Legends: Bang Bang!). No matter how hard this was for my husband and I to do this ourselves, I have to do this and thank our child for protecting me the way they did.

"Approaching our second prenatal appointment, which was a targeted sonogram, I felt weird and sad. I couldn’t hear our child’s soul in my womb anymore.

I didn’t let my husband know how I felt, but I knew I couldn’t hear him or her talk to me like they were several months ago. The baby was still small, so I couldn’t detect movements until I reached a certain stage in the pregnancy.

During the targeted sonogram appointment, I noticed our child was face down in the womb, and the screen wasn’t moving as much compared to our previous pregnancies. “Ma’am, there’s something wrong inside of me. Our child shouldn’t be face down like this in the womb.” I said.

The sonogram technician told us she couldn’t talk about the sonogram until after they posted the results via MyChart. I grew livid, and my husband did his best to translate how I felt. “I’m sorry,” she said, “I cannot tell you until I run this by the doctor and we post the results from today’s lab on MyChart. Here, let’s reschedule you an appointment for October!”

We left without knowing the worst has already happened…"

Transitioning from a stay-at-home blogger to a work-from-home blogger is a unique transition. Believe it or not, I am enjoying this transition a lot! At my new job, I am helping my peers get used to the call center flow and vibes, so when it is time for them to hit the ground running (outside training, of course) they're not as anxious like I was with my first call center job.

Although, to each their own. Here are helpful tips of improving your call center experience! :)

Hey everyone, EGBleu22 here with a cheesy announcement. So, there are several questions I'm receiving via Quora about blogging and how to get started. In this powerhouse episode I'll go over some pointers about blogging, how to earn income from it, and recommended habits to move forward with as a blogger than a generic blogger. Don't get it twisted, to each their own. However, it is helpful if we reach out to each other and share information to help another person.

Below are the questions I've answered in today's podcast. Feel free to jump on them and show some love. Of course, if you have something else you want to add to the mix, leave a comment, constructive feedback, or say nothing. You know, silence is golden, too.

  1. Where are the best places to guest post?

2. What is the best content for starting a blog?

3. Is blogging the right way to earn money?

Shout out to the beginner or returning bloggers! If you're wanting to get your fingertips wet with guest blog writing, you can submit a FREE APPLICATION for So 'Sausey' Blogs (my remote business) and allow up to 72 hours for the next steps. IF YOUR POST IS SELECTED FOR PUBLICATION, YOU RETAIN 100% OF YOUR AUTHOR RIGHTS! However, don't simply copy and paste everything, thinking submitting a duplicate post will work. It's best to simply revise your favorite post, shorten it, or something creative to it so we can process your app faster, and see what we can work with. :)

Key pointers:

  • Take it slow, don't rush the production process.
  • If you're building everything from scratch, understand your strengths and weaknesses. While it's easy to create and post (or schedule) a blog post, it is important to strategically know your limits and which niches work best with your approach.
  • Invest in yourself the right way. Don't purchase products you think you're going to use. Know the products you are going to use before purchasing so you won't feel you're wasting your resources on paid subscriptions!
  • Hold yourself accountable, regardless if you feel or believe it is harmless or not! Many people aren't exclusive these days, especially if we listen to how we communicate with each other. Don't say anything you're not bold enough to say to the person you love and care for (or what you don't want someone saying to you).
  • Make it fun! Blogging and podcasting aren't a chore, but another gateway to voice your opinions (or facts) to a diverse platform.

Stillness in the night! I rocked the empty cradle, swaying left and right, hoping to find the truth within you.

Strapped up for this fight! My husband knew what was coming, so he held on tight. Blew me away when he snatched my knife and gave me you.

Bless our baby, please! No matter how hard I wish for things to be, I understand that it isn’t meant to be. So, I slave away religiously, and that very soon we will meet.

Stillness in the night! We rocked our empty seats, swinging left and right, holding on to you and the faded truth.

Stillbirth is the worst! Leave me alone, buried alive in a hearse, until my existence becomes nonexistent in the futuristic universe.

Blessed baby, please! No matter how hard we wish for things to be, we understand that it isn’t meant to be. So, we wave the demons away slowly, praying to reunite again in eternity.

Paint me Bleu, I will always love you.
