In the last 11 years, so much has happened with big data, the cloud, and machine learning.  We are in a new era where we can predict effectively, and dashboards are as important as ever to visualize the results.  

Another important trend is that while charts were highly effective in guided interactions leading to key outcomes, machine learning predictions are most effective when integrated back into our transactional systems for real-time decisions.  

While the majority of real-time decisions are still rules-based, there is significant value in selecting the best candidates as use cases to implement machine learning.
