After a year long hiatus, What A Onederful World is back because I wanted to talk about my friend Trevor Strnad who passed away one year ago today. He was the vocalist of The Black Dahlia Murder and I owe him so much more than I could ever put into words. I miss you.
I’ve made lots of records in my life, for my own band and for others. I’ve picked up a lot of knowledge along the way and would love to share it with the world. Thing is.. Quite simply, I talk about how I started Oneder Effects, an effects pedal company based in Chesaning, Michigan.
In 2006, I was minding my own business when A Wilhelm Scream called me up and said they needed me to quit my life and go on tour with them playing bass. Some very simple advice for folks in bands. No business or promotion strategies, more of a state of mind and the ethos needed to keep a level (sane?) head in the ever-changing, increasingly difficult world of touring. Warning: one name drop.
