tying into the previous episode regarding racism in hockey. raina explains the struggles of a person of colour in this day and age. they are just are unimaginable. you have to live it to truly understand, but from such a young age, raina always felt less than her peers. simply because of the colour of her skin. this will not be the last time she speaks on this topic. black lives matter today, and always. continue to use your voice and speak up for minorities.
originally created as a school project, this bonus mini episode is just a quick 10 minute chat between raina and her mom, pamela. raina grew up playing hockey her entire life, she learned a lot about the culture. they touch on a few important parts of how racism affects extracurricular activities. specifically hockey.
