Survival, love and belonging, power, fun, and freedom-and edtech?
In episode three of EdTech Architects, we'll explore a key learning theory and how we can use this theory as a guide to reflect on our past, present, and plan future educational technology integration. We'll discuss William Glasser's "Choice Theory" in behaviors and learning, and how to utilize this theory as a lens to reflect on edtech integrations. Glasser proposes all of our actions are influenced by our internal desire to satisfy 5 basic needs. How does this translate to the classroom-and how can it shape our edtech integrations, for the better?

In this EdTech Architects episode, we're talking accessibility, AI, creativity, and machine learning. You don't have to be a computer programmer to understand the benefits of our topic in today's episode, an accessibility project created through AI innovations. Through Google's Creatability project, drawing and music making can be made more accessible for all. Learn how the Creatability project, a partnership between accessibility innovators and Google, is creating a series of tools designed to make "creating" a more accessible experience for those with disabilities. We'll explore some of the tools within Creatability and some of the ways it can benefit learners in any learning environment.

What does future ready teaching and learning mean? What future are we preparing our learners for? What changes should we make? In today's episode of EdTech Architects, we will be discussing the 21st Century Learning Framework and how you can use the framework to revolutionize standardized learning and ensure learners are developing the skills for their futures. We will discuss the student learning outcomes and support systems as outlined in the framework.
