We all face the storms of life but there is a very good lesson to be learned from the disciples when Jesus told them to get into the boat and go to the other side. We'll see what the disciples did in this situation and their reactions to the storm and how we can learn from them on how to handle the storms in our own life.

The title "Another Day Another Blessing” comes from a saying I have had in my life for a very long time. I've learned that every day is a new day and with it comes another opportunity to receive God’s blessings. The expectancy of receiving the blessings that God has for me this day is what gets me up and going, ready for another day. I trust that this teaching will pass that same thought unto you.
The greatest thing that you can learn about God is that He wants to bless you in all areas of your life. Some people only accept God's blessings in certain areas of their life. But in this study we will look at the fact that God truly does want to bless you with spiritual and physical blessings so that you can't contain them all.
In this new year there are three very important things we need to do in order to be successful in this year. In this week's teaching we talk about each of these and then I explain the vision for this ministry and how it is an example of what each of us needs to be doing.
When we step out to fulfill the plan that God has for each of our lives the obstacles of life get in our way and sometimes our vision dies. Realize when that happens the vision is still alive inside of us and God still wants that vision accomplished. In this teaching we’ll discuss what we need to be doing in order to fulfill the plan and vision that God has for each of our lives. We will find that Zerubbabel, in the Bible, was a great example of what we need to be doing today.
Christmas is a time of giving and receiving but the most important thing for each of us is that we don’t miss out on the greatest gift of all. The greatest gift is God Himself, come in the flesh, in the form of Jesus Christ. But to understand this great gift you have to first understand the original gift given to man way back in the beginning. In this teaching we examine the original gift and how it leads us to the greatest gift of all and how important this gift is to each and every one of us. Our eternal existence depends on what we do with this gift.
Every one of us has times in our lives when we face discouragement and we want to quit and give up. In these times we feel God isn’t hearing our prayers and that He doesn’t understand what we are going through. But the Bible tells us what to do in these situations and this teaching tells us what we need to be doing in order to stay strong in the Lord so that discouragement doesn’t bring us to a point of quitting and giving up.
God tells us that we need to be strong and of good courage to accomplish what He has called us to do. It takes a determination to continue to believe God even when the circumstances don’t look like it’s working out. We have to be determined to keep going and not quit and give up. Our determination must be that we will continue to trust God each and every day in order to see God’s blessings flow into our lives.
Abraham kept his faith strong by not considering the circumstances of his situation. Realize that our faith is weakened when we consider the circumstances that stand in the way of us accomplishing what God has called us to. II Cor 5:7 says that we are supposed to walk by faith not by sight (circumstances). I know that this is easier said than done but in this teaching we’ll learn several things that will help us to stay strong in faith.
In this teaching we discover that faith has to have several things working with it in order to be effective. One of these things is hope and another is action. Learning how hope works with faith and learning that faith without action won’t accomplish much will help our faith move mountains in our lives.
The Bible tells us that we are to live our lives by faith. It also tells us that without faith it is impossible to please God. In this teaching we find out that God’s blessings will flow into our lives as we believe in faith that God does exist and that He does reward those who diligently seek Him.
There is a problem in most churches today and that is the thought that the Pastor is supposed to do all the work in the church. But what does the Bible say about the job of the Pastor? In this teaching we take a look at the responsibility of the Pastor and how it relates to the responsibility of each of us as members of the Church.
The Bible says that we are not to love the world. When we allow ourselves to serve the things of this world the Bible says that we committing adultery against God. What we have to realize is that God wants us to be totally commitment to Him. We’ve been talking about being dead to sin and alive to God and fasting is another way of helping us to do that. The problem with fasting is that very few people understand it let alone practice it. In this week’s teaching we look at what is fasting and how we should be practicing it in order to walk in God’s blessings in our lives and to see sin defeated when it comes against us.
Jesus told us to partake of communion as often as we need to keep ourselves in remembrance of what He has done for us. But where did the idea for communion come from. When we accepted Jesus as our personal savior, He pulled us out of the cesspool of sin and washed us off so that we were made clean from all the filth and dirt of our past. But now it's up to us to keep ourselves clean by staying away from the cesspool of sin. In this week's teaching we'll talk about how we can stay away from sin and live our lives committed to God.
This week we continue to talk about overcoming anxiety in our lives. We look at several things the Bible says we do need to be doing in order in walk in perfect peace. Without applying these things in our lives we will continue to struggle with the anxiety that is daily trying to come upon us. Many times as Christians we forget the importance of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Without the resurrection we would have no Christianity. The Bible says that we are saved by holding fast to the gospel. But what is the gospel and how do we hold fast to it? As we look at this 14th chapter of I Corinthians we learn about the proper order in a church service which Paul includes the fact that women are to keep silent in the church. But what does that mean? In this study we'll look at this verse and some other verses that say that women are not supposed to teach or have authority over men in a church service.
The Bible tells us to excel in the gifts but to make sure that we exercise the gifts that will edified or built up the church. Why does Paul say in these verses that it is better to prophesy then it is to speak in tongues in a service? Was Paul against tongues? Did he want the Corinthians not use tongues at all in a service? These questions and more that still apply to us today are answered in this teaching.
So many people ask: How can I know God's will and how do I know when God is speaking to me. People love to give and receive gifts but what is the greatest gift of all? In this study of I Corinthians chapter 13, also known as the love chapter, we will find that love is the greatest gift every given to us by God. We will learn about what love is and what it isn't. Many times people have the wrong thought about what love is and how it supposed to operate in our lives. We will see in this study why some people argue over their theology using scriptures taken right from the love chapter.
