A waggish look at Film and T.V from the past and present with brothers David and Ian Stone. We take you step by step in our reviews, pointing out flaws, funnies and moments that make us fume (believe me there are plenty of those). The cherry on the top is our bullet-proof rating system based on lock-down hit Tiger King. Subscribe now and why not watch along and suggest what we review next?!
A long time ago we started our Star Wars odyssey. Producing 9 episodes so far, here are some of the best bits from each of those reviews to celebrate May 4th.
Of course there are still questions to be answered like:
What do Donald Trump and Boss Nass have in common?
Is R2D2 cut out to be a security guard?
And who or what is spying on Ewan Mcgregor?
Presented by Davey Boy Stone and Ian Stone
Produced by Davey Boy Stone
Hello there young inquisitor, we've got the second and final part of our Obi Wan Kenobi review right here for you!
We fully expect the fanboys to come after us on hearing this review when we answer these questions:
Why the canon explanation of Darth Vader's redemption arc is STUPID?
Why is Ian's impression of the Inquisitor so good?
And...when are we gonna get to the fireworks factory?! (Or 'Liam Neeson', as he prefers to be called.)
Presented by Davey Boy Stone and Ian Stone
Produced by Davey Boy Stone.
Next in line in our Star Wars series of reviews is the highly anticipated look into Obi-Wan Kenobi!
In this, the first of our two-parter, we talk about episodes 1-3. As always, there'll be many questions including:
Is Flea a bassist or a magician?
Will the second inquisitor get over his constipation?
And what dinosaur makes the best bounty hunter?
Presented by Davey Boy Stone and Ian Stone.
Produced by Davey By Stone.
'A place that nobody dared to go, the love that we came to know, yes This Is A Revieeeeeeeeeeeeew.'
A million lights are dancing as we review Xanadu starring the girl you loved in Grease, the worlds greatest dancer and also starring Michael Beck.
The questions:
Is Gene Kelly insane?
Is there ever a good reason to skate head-first into a brick wall?
And are roller skates the next big thing?
A 'This' production.
Presented by Davey Boy Stone and Ian Stone.
Produced by Davey Boy Stone.
Who's that behind the mask?
Why it's Spermy and Cafetiere here to give you our latest review on the GRAND FINAL of The Masked Singer.
But what questions will this particular Saturday night favourite bring about? Well there's:
Who is the number one authority on all things Donnie Wahlberg?
Will we see a striptease from a cricket?
And how many camera cuts will there be for REACTIONS?
Presented by Davey Boy Stone and Ian Stone.
Produced by Davey Boy Stone.
Can you feel the power of the Stone brothers?
THIS review is all about athleticism, charisma and former Premier League referees...
That's right, it's the rebooted Gladiators and this time we'll be asking:
Are they trying to be a wrestling show or not?
What goes on in the gladiator locker room when the cameras aren't rolling?
And, will Mark Clattenburg have anything to do?
P.S. Listen all the way until the end for a special Easter egg!
Presented by Davey Boy Stone and Ian Stone.
Produced by Davey Boy Stone.
Can you believe it? Our very own Star Wars saga finally continues and I have a GOOD feeling about this!
We continue the odyssey with our long awaited review of Solo answering these key questions:
Can Chewbacca handle his drink?
How many pointless origin stories can you squeeze into one picture?
And does Lando steal all of his clothes?
Presented by Davey Boy Stone and Ian Stone.
Produced by Davey Boy Stone.
We've only gone and completed 100% of The Traitors, so buckle up and listen to our 5th and final review!
We cover the final 3 episodes where the surely deserving (or not) winner is crowned in another special extended edition. These are the questions raised:
What's the weirdest way you can say "£95,150"?
Will Muscleman burst out of his t-shirt?
And which contestant have we dedicated a song to?
Presented by Davey Boy Stone and Ian Stone.
Produced by David Stone.
In this 100% extra special, extended edition of the show, we review episodes 7, 8 and 9 of The Traitors series 2!
That's right, as we near the conclusion of this 100% Winklerrific series, we decided to give you 1 hour, 18 minutes of 100% faithful gold! WARNING: LOTS OF BAD LANGUAGE IN THIS ONE.
Of course, there'll be questions:
When's the most appropriate time to bring back emo fashion?
How many times can you say 'I f**king hate Paul' in one watch through?
And just how long will Davey Boy's Paul rant be?
Presented by Davey Boy Stone and Ian Stone.
Produced by David Stone.
We're 100%, 50% of the way through The Traitors and so here comes part 3 of our review.
Strap in as we cover 100% of episodes 5 and 6 and ask the questions:
Whose ego is getting far too big?
What's the smallest thing you can hide behind to avoid getting caught?
And is Tracey going to summon Satan?!
Presented by Davey Boy Stone and Ian Stone.
Produced by David Stone.
It's 100% time for part 2 of our Traitors review, and yes, we've decided to do 100% of the series, so subscribe to listen to the rest when they come out!
We cover episodes 3 and 4 of series 2 in this review. So, get your ears 100% ready for these questions:
Who is the winner of the '100% faithful' award?
Does it take a psychic to work out why 'you're the way you are'?
And why are sheep and traitors NOT THE SAME THING!?
Presented by Davey Boy Stone and Ian Stone.
Produced by David Stone.
I'm 100% a faithful and this is 100% a review.
That's right, this time around we're reviewing series 2 of BBC smash hit - The Traitors. So, this is your 100% SPOILER WARNING!
In this show we cover episodes 1 and 2 of what is promising to rile up Ian and Davey Boy to Star Wars prequel levels.
Within our 100% faithful review you will 100% hear the answers to these questions:
Which player is a total psychopath? (It's pretty obvious.)
What happens when you're slightly rude to Diane?
And... why is everybody so bad at this?
Presented by David 'Davey Boy' Stone and Ian Stone.
Produced by David Stone.
It's a new year and we've got another new episode. This time it's alleged 'comedy mockbuster'; Bone Alone. Think Home Alone, but with dogs, and there's your premise!
Be careful though, something very different comes up when you google the title!
What better way to get over Christmas than listening to just how bad a 'Christmas' movie can be.
As always we'll answer the burning questions such as:
Can human characters really be superfluous to the plot?
Can you escape from a relentless frying pan beating unscathed?
And who is the gold standard for wooden acting?
Watch the trailer for Bone alone here. (It's worth it!)
Presented by David 'Davey Boy' Stone and Ian Stone
Produced by David Stone
Put the cookie down and listen up! OK, so we keep promising new episodes only to not show up until a year later, but this time it's happening. We've got some recordings in the bag already and may do the odd re-release or two. A new release schedule is in place for 2024 so stay tuned for the announcement in due course.
To get you in the mood for the year ahead, we have a brand new Christmas special right here, right now. We take a look Christmas classic; Jingle All the Way, starring half man, half machine, half all-American father figure (apparently); Arnold Schwarzenegger.
We'll dig for the answers of these questions:
How many serious crimes can Arnie commit in just one Christmas movie?
How many toy shops can one man visit in one day?
and what is it that's so orgasmic about those cookies?
Presented by David Stone and Ian Stone.
Produced by David Stone.

Well well well. Do you know why we stopped you? It's because we have reason to believe that you are driving this car without insurance. Also, there is a strong smell of cannabis coming off you. Step out of the car please. I said step out of the car. Requesting backup please...
Sorry guys, we are a bit busy here dealing with some criminal scum. While we sort this out, why don't you listen to this fresh review of Police Interceptors and ask yourself the following questions:
What constitutes a siege and why is it less than you think? What is the guilty pleasure of Sgt So and So and why is it important? And what is there for the MEN?
Now get in the van.
We're back! Pandemic fatigued and ageing rapidly, the brothers Stone have crawled out from their isolation caves to bring you a brand new set of reviews. Construction on the TIAS studio is finally complete so get ready to see these on the reg.
This week it's the one you have been waiting a year for...our Naked Attraction review!
Questions:
Will Anna Richardson be able to coin a sexy catchphrase? How hard IS IT to understand someone with the same accent as you? And what sex toy should you wear on a first date?
All these questions may or may not be answered on the podcast of the year as voted by the "This" awards 2021.
Thank goodness that with this episode, the prequal trilogy is over! And it's interesting because this film actually divided our opinions slightly. One of us can just about tolerate it, one of us absolutely detests it! Either way, our review is a much more enjoyable romp than the actual film itself.
Questions: Which character is a surprisingly enduring mainstay? Who gets turned on at the mere thought of hate? And WHAT OF THE YOUNGLINGS?
Originally broadcast on Radio Harrow. www.radioharrow.org
It's taken a long time in a galaxy far away, but we have finally got round to uploading our review of the final instalment of the prequal trilogy! Revel in the delights that this film has to offer such as droid humour, extremely clichéd villainy and of course; an acting masterclass from Hayden Christensen!
This week's questions: Which is the best creature to take on a joyride? Who poses awkwardly when going into battle? And who is OVERWHELMED?!
Originally broadcast on Radio Harrow. www.radioharrow.org
In a perfect world... it wouldn't have taken this long to release a new episode, but we are finally back so please react accordingly.
We have truly entered the twilight zone as This...Is A Review of a review show...of sorts. We watch an episode of Gogglebox and react to people on television reacting to television. Radical I know!
Questions this week: What exactly is an anal cake display? Who has the hair of a Lego Mini Figure? And which major pop star allegedly has an excellent rapport with Pachyderms?
Originally broadcast on Radio Harrow. www.radioharrow.org
That's right, it's part 2 of our Attack Of The Clones Review. And in this part we are introduced to Count Dooku played by the late, great Christopher Lee. MEANWHILE...we continue to be annoyed by the sickening and creepy romance between Hayden Christensen and Natalie Portman.
This week's questions: What is the worst way to utilise a legend of stage and screen? Which Actor holds themselves with utter class? And how many people do you have to murder to seduce a former Queen? Find out this and more in another humdinger of a show!
Originally broadcast on Radio Harrow. www.radioharrow.org
It's the big one! Enter Hayden Christensen!
We've started so now we have to do the entire saga. Therefore we continue with possibly the worst film in history. Luckily it is so incredibly bad, it's funny. We'll find out: How does one deal with pest control when you're a Jedi? What's the creepiest way you've ever been seduced? And of course, WHAT IS THE PROBLEM WITH SAND?!
Originally Broadcast on Radio Harrow. www.radioharrow.org
It continues...
David's starting to break as we take on the second half of this mess of a film. This week's vital questions: Does it really take only 4 people to take down the Nazis? Do Jedi bleed? What is the best gift to symbolise friendship and solidarity amongst all races and how much should it glow?
Originally broadcast on Radio Harrow. www.radioharrow.org
Our journey across the Galaxy begins!
We start at the pretend beginning...The Phantom Menace and boy do we not hold back on this one. Strap in for a thrill ride from the very beginning as we answer the questions Star Wars fans all want to know the answers to, such as: Which actor is wearing the most glorious wig? What's the best way to pass time during a pod race Sebulba? And what of the vital TRADE NEGOTIATIONS?!
Originally broadcast on radioharrow.org
Lockdown was only just a thing, masks were a futuristic and novel idea, and THUNDERDOMES were a mere twinkle in Vince Mcmahon's eye! Yup, this week we take a look at WWE's Wrestlemania 36 (Part 1) which was certainly a unique event. Will there be any fans in attendance? No. Will we find out what a boneyard is? Yes. Will the star of the show be a giant ceiling fan? Without question. A must listen for wrestling fans and everyone else!
Originally broadcast on Radio Harrow. www.radioharrow.org
This... is episode 1 of This Is A Review. We kick off with the one and only Tiger King. Who is the real villain? Did Carole Baskin kill her husband? Why is America so obsessed with owning big cats? These are all questions we probably won't find the answer to, but you will have a bloody good time listening to us discuss them!
