Lifelong evangelical and Christian media industries writer, publicist, producer, and agent Rebeca Seitz left the evangelical world after reading the Bible too much and taking it at its word. The Freevangelic podcast is where Rebeca covers topics related to leaving the evangelical life and welcomes various guests with insight thereon. From politics to parenting, belief to business, Rebeca authentically explores how to live into and find Truth.
Many things in our lives have changed since leaving evangelical Christianity. Among those is how we express compassion to our fellow human beings. Where the evangelical mindset uses compassion as a means to evangelize the faith, the Freevangelic mindset is to simply be kind for the sake of being kind and compassionate.

Questions have come up about how different aspects of life, thought, and values change after you free yourself from evangelical dogma. It's taken a while for some of these changes to shake out. Given that we are deep into the quadrennial silly season, it seemed like a good time to talk about how being a Freevangelic has changed how we look at politics, how we make decisions on how to vote, and how the entire process has changed, in some ways drastically.
