Five years ago, expert sea diver and Naval Captain Jonas Taylor encountered an unknown danger in the unexplored recesses of the Mariana Trench that forced him to abort his mission and abandon half his crew. This incident earned him a dismissal from service, what ultimately cost him his career and his marriage. But when a submersible lies sunk and disabled at the bottom of the ocean, carrying his ex-wife among the team onboard, he is the one who gets the call. It’s because the deep sea submersible has been attacked by a massive creature, that might be the one Taylor had encountered before which is a pre-historic 75-foot-long shark known as the Megalodon that previously thought to be extinct. Now, teamed with Suyin, he must confront his fears and risk his own life to save everyone trapped below. Then, he succeeds in getting everyone escape back to the surface without Toshi who sacrifices himself because the shark comes back for another attack. The situation isn't over yet, as the sub's destruction has caused a temporary pocket of heat to vent upwards and allow the shark to move to normal ocean waters. This situation endangers people who are swimming on the beach so Taylor, Suyin, and the others are forced to fight to kill the Meg.

All The Bright Places novel storyline is about a girl who learns to live from a boy who intends to die. It started when Finch (who is fascinated by death and constantly thinks of ways he might kill himself but each time something good stops him) and Violet (whose sister recently died) meet on the ledge of the bell tower at school. And when they pair up on a school project to discover the “natural wonders” of their state, the two begin a romantic relationship and fall in love. As the time goes by, Violet begins to heal while Finch’s mental health begins to deteriorate because she doesn’t know and realize that he suffers from an undiagnosed bipolar disorder. After a fight between them, Finch disappear and a month later Violet figures out that he has drowned himself at one of their wandering sites for the school project.
Just by listening to the lyrics of the song “Beautiful in White”, you can say on how much the guy loves the girl and it is describing his feeling when he first met his bride wearing a wedding dress. The guy also has imagination about them having a daughter that he will someday accompany his daughter to the altar.
Lady Gaga’s Always Remember Us This Way has meaning that no matter what happens in the relationship, they will always remember those moments where love between them was so strong and real, cherish the times that everything else around them faded away and didn’t matter, and remember what makes the relationship works.

Barbados has officially removed Queen Elizabeth II as its head of state and become the world's newest republic. In an overnight ceremony in the capital, Bridgetown, Dame Sandra Mason was sworn in as president. The Prince of Wales and Barbadian singer, Rihanna, attended the event, which coincided with the country's 55th anniversary of independence. In a speech, Prince Charles acknowledged the "appalling atrocity of slavery" the Caribbean island suffered. The new era for Barbados ends Britain's centuries of influence. To signify the official change of power, a final salute was made to the British monarchy and the Royal Standard flag was lowered and replaced. Speaking as the guest of honour at the event, Prince Charles reiterated the continuing ties between the two nations despite the constitutional status change.

Health officials in several European countries are checking to see if the newly identified variant of coronavirus has already arrived within their borders. The WHO says early evidence suggests the variant named Omicron poses an increased reinfection risk. Sample from 61 people who arrived in Netherlands on flights from South Africa have tested positive for Covid-19 and are being examined to see if they contain the new strain. They have been placed in isolation at a hotel near Schiphol Airport. Many countries around the world, including the US and Australia, have restricted travel to and from the Southern African region.
Movie's summary:
Mia Thermopolis is a sweet and very bright 15 year old girl, yet socially awkward, shy, a little geeky, and pretty much invisible to everyone with the exception of her single mother, Lilly (her best friend), and Lilly’s brother, Michael. She must decide by Genovian Independence Day Ball whether she relinquish her claim on the throne or to become the Princess and heir to the throne her father and grandmother want her to be. Terrified by the prospect, Mia plans to run away until she discovers a touching letter from her late father. She changes her mind and makes her way to the ball to accepts her role as Princess of Genovia.

Jason, Julia, and Rick are determined to find out, no matter what it takes.

Latifa: yes, that’s all. By the way Julia, the final assessment is coming soon. I’m guessing it’s on December 6th , have you prepared it?
Julia: Actually I haven’t prepare anything for it. Thank you for reminding me that we only have less than a month to prepare.
Latifa: So am I, but we’ll still try our best, right? Cause I can’t wait for year end holiday. Do you have any plans for it?
Julia: Yeah, I’m excited for the upcoming holiday. As of now, I don’t have any plans with my family, but I am going to have staycation with my friends once we have the right time.
Latifa: Wow, that sounds great! Where will your staycation be?
Julia: I think it’s gonna be in Jogja because they have lots of good food and have both nature and “city” things, you know what I mean. What about you? Do you have any plans for the holiday?
Latifa: my sister works in Jakarta and after finishing my exam I will visit her. She said that she would take me around Jakarta.
Julia: whoa, that seems so fun! But I’m afraid that this year end holiday will increase the positive cases in Indonesia.
Latifa: yes, I have heard about it on the news. The government said that the third wave of covid will increase dramatically during the Christmas and New Year holidays. Therefore, the government urges the public to comply with health protocols. So, I feel a little worried about this, Jul.
Julia: then please don’t forget to always apply the health protocols

An old school song entitled If I Let You Go was released in 1999. The song sang by Westlife tells about a guy who really like someone, yet he can’t show it. He is deciding about whether or not to tell the girl how he feels and what would happen if he doesn’t. He is way too shy so he tries to let her go.
“Somebody Else” by The 1975 explores the narrative of an individual who tries to understand their contradictory feelings towards an ex who is now with someone new. The guy might not want to be with somebody anymore (maybe because they did him wrong or something like that), but the thought of them being with someone else just kills him in the inside.
1st news: WHO official told that we’re not on track, we really need to speed it up or this coronavirus pandemic will go on for a year longer than it needs to. This happen because of the uneven distribution of vaccines across the world. Covax, as the international program set up to ensure all countries could get enough vaccine to cover at least 20% of their population, has not worked out as planned. The vast majority of vaccine doses administered have been in richer countries, Africa especially has been left behind.
2nd news: Most Jewish Israelis do compulsory military service for at least two years. Eventhough many Israelis don’t serve for medical, family, or religious reasons, but it’s unusual to take an ideological stance to oppose their conscription. Every year a small number end up in military prison for refusing to join the army. Shahar Perets is one of them. Some call her a traitor or she don’t care about her people. However, she still decided to refuse to serve in the army for third time because she don’t want to take part in the oppression of millions of people who live in West Bank and Gaza, and her family support her for that.
Hana, my current classmate, and me were just talking about things we do lately but surprisingly we found out that both of us do love reading books eventhough our favorite genre is different. It is nice to know what kind of books she read and I got one recommendation novel named Cinta itu Luka by Eka Kurniawan. I also shared what novel I like and recommended her one. However, it was actually a very short conversation because unfortunately I had to go at that moment.

Mulan In Imperial China, Hua Mulan is an adventurous and active girl. One day, as a young woman, Mulan is forced to meet with a matchmaker to prepare to find a groom, but she interrupts the matchmaker and ruins the meeting because of a spider. Once they get outside, they hear an important announcement that the Emperor of China is demanding every family to contribute one man to fight because a Northen outpost is invaded by Rouran warriors, under the leadership of Böri Khan and assisted by the witch Xianniang. Mulan’s elderly and frail father, Hua Zhou, is forced to pledge his service as he has no sons. Realizing that her father has no chance of survival, Mulan steals his armor, sword, and horse, and rides off towards the camp. Alongside other inexperienced recruits, she becomes a trained soldier under his tutelage without exposing her true identity. The Khan's army continues to advance, forcing Tung to early send his battalion to fight. Mulan chases some troops on her own, but is confronted by Xianniang, who mocks her for pretending to be a man. During the fight, Mulan’s armor is damaged and she eventually removes her male disguise, then returns to the battle. Unable to hide her true gender any longer, she is expelled from the army. On her way home, she is confronted by Xianniang who reveals how they are similar and both have very strong qi. She also reveals that Khan's true plan is to capture and execute the Emperor for having his father killed. Risking execution, Mulan returns to her battalion to warn them. Tung believes her and allows her to lead a unit to the Emperor's palace. Mulan's unit distracts the Rourans while Mulan goes to save the Emperor. Khan tries to snipe her with an arrow, but Xianniang swiftly sacrifices herself by intercepting the arrow. Mulan kills Khan and frees the Emperor, but not before he disarms her and destroys her father's sword. After her arrival to her village, Tung comes to present Mulan a new sword that reads “loyal”, “brave”, “true”, and “family” while making a personal request that she join the army.

Glass Sword Glass Sword as Victoria Aveyard’s second novel in the Red Queen series tells the story about Mare Barrow. It’s about her, a Red Blood but has the power to control lightning, trying to escape and kill Prince Maven, a Silver and her ex fiancé who had betrayed her. Mare sets out to find and recruit other Red-and-Silver, called Newbloods, fighters to join in the struggle against their oppressors. The book ends as Mare publicly kneels at Maven’s feet with a golden collar and leash around her neck, and he promises that she will be put on display just like she did to his mother’s body.
According to guitarist Bettencourt, “More Than Words” is saying how the phrase “I love you” is overused to the point it no longer means anything. Yet, people still use it and think it will fix things or people think they have shown their love for someone by simply saying that. The main message of the song is that we could prove our love is real through our actions instead of just saying it. That way, our loved one wouldn’t ask if we love them cause they’d already know.
Wrecking Ball is a song that originally sung by Miley Cyrus and released on 2013. Its lyrics tells about a woman who felt so sad and depressed because of her relationship. She went through a one-sided relationship where she was madly in love with him but he didn’t feel the same way. She was never going to get over him because she would always want the man, though it hurts her. Then, she realized that all the things that she did and said turn out to be in vain. The woman hopes that someday her man realizes the pain he caused and that she still has feelings for him.
News 1: Since March 2020, Australia has had some of the world’s strictest border rules because of the corona virus pandemic. Australian Prime Minister, Scott Morrisson, has announced that Australia will reopen its international borders from November for its own people who has fully vaccinated. The government also said it was working towards welcoming tourists back to their shores. People would be eligible to travel when their state's vaccination rate hit 80%. New South Wales, which includes Sydney, is on track to be the first state to cross that 80% threshold in a few weeks time. Mr. Morrison said Australia's mandatory 14 day hotel quarantine, which costs each traveller over 2.000 USD, would be replaced by seven days of home quarantine for vaccinated Australians or permanent residents.
News 2: Lava from an erupting volcano on the Spanish Island of La Palma has reached the sea creating vast clouds of steam and it’s feared toxic gases. Many homes and crops have been destroyed and thousands of people have been forced to evacuate since the eruptions first began on 19 September. The wind direction has changed and the sulfur levels are increasing in the air, so the residents had been told to stay indoors and keep their windows closed. Others are adapting to the strange new way of life dominated by rumbling of the volcano and the unpredictable threat of its ever flowing lava. This eruption not only affecting daily life and people’s livelihoods, but also changed the lay of the land.
Because we haven’t been talking for weeks, I chose to call Aisha, one of my best friend since the third grade, to make sure that she’s good and to know more about her through few questions that I never ask before such as how does she like to be comforted when she’s sad, what was the most difficult good bye in her life, and when was the last time she cried. So, basically we were just having a light conversation in a casual situation since we didn’t have much time to talk to.
Children book: Cinderella tells us about a girl who lived with her cruel stepmother and two stepsisters that always made her did all of the house work. One day, the King organized a ball for his son and every girl was commanded to attend. Cinderella was very excited, but her stepmother and stepsisters kept her busy all day long until it was the time to leave so Cinderella had no time to dress. Then there stood her fairy godmother who felt pity for Cinderella. She waved her magic wand and turned the pumpkin into a splendid coach, the mice into horses, lizards into servants, and lastly the fairy godmother made her a beautiful dress with glass slippers. The fairy godmother reminded her that she can’t stay after midnight because then everything will be as it was before. When Cinderella arrived at the King’s ballroom, the Prince immediately fell in love with her. They enjoy the time together. Once the tower clock began to strike midnight, Cinderella just ran out of the ballroom. On the way, she lost one of the glass slippers but she had no time left to get it back. The next morning, the Duke carried the glass shoe from house to house looking for its owner. Every girl in the land tried hard to put the slipper on. None of them could fit into it, but Cinderella. Thus, Cinderella would marry the Prince and live happily ever after. And summary of "Sing" movie: Sing takes place in a world entirely populated by humanistic animals. When a koala named Buster Moon is threatened of losing his theater, he decides to hold a singing competition to save it. After everyone in town auditions, five contestants selected: a pig named Rosita, a gorilla named Johnny, a mouse named Mike, a porcupine named Ash, and an elephant named Meena. The animals start rehearsing for the show though they have to deal with their own issues, while Buster asks if he can get Nana Noodleman to give the theater some funding. When the show begins, Nana is impressed but three bears come to mess it up. The bear smashes the chest, revealing all of Buster's junk. Things get worse when the water tank cracks, causing the whole theater destroyed. While Buster, Ms. Crawley, and Eddie (Buster’s sheep friend) start a car wash business, Buster hears Meena singing "Hallelujah" where the theater used to be and then comes up with a new plan. They set up a stage in the middle of the theater ruins. The show amazed many people, including Nana (have been in the audience the whole time). Finally she gives Buster her funding so that they can repurchase and rebuild the theater.
Meaning of the song “Little Things” by One Direction is that what we may see as insecurities are what makes us who we are and makes us beautiful and perfect. It's telling us that there are people out there that will love us even if we don't. They will love everything about us, including all of our insecurities and that they will always be there for us.
A song originally by Taylor Swift that tells us about forbidden love. The lyrics paint the age-old tale of a young, star-crossed couple's trying romance in the face of both their families' disapproval. However, unlike said William Shakespeare’s classic novel “Romeo and Juliet”, Swift didn’t want this particular “love story” to end in tragedy. So she instead made it a happy ending where the man, with the consent of her father, proceeds to humbly request her hand in marriage. Taylor Swift also said that this song is more about a love that’s not convenient and not as comfortable as something else, but it’s something you have to fight for.

Now I want to tell you about heartbreaking news that happened in early September 2021. Its Flash Flooding in New York and New Jersey. At least nine people have died after flash flooding and tornadoes hit the north-eastern US, local media report. Some people were trapped in flooded basements of their homes, while one body was found in a vehicle that was swept away. A two-year-old boy was among the victims in New York City. The governors of New York and New Jersey declared a state of emergency. At least 8cm of water had fallen in just one hour in New York's Central Park. As consequence, almost all New York City subway lines have been closed and non-emergency vehicles banned from roads. Many flights and trains out of New York and New Jersey have been suspended. Hundreds of thousands of homes in Louisiana remain without power and New Orleans is under a night-time curfew. New York resident, George Bailey, told the BBC that he heard gurgling in the middle of dinner and the water's coming up out of the shower drain in his bathroom. He also said that he went to check the main water line in the utility room, and by the time he walked back into the living room there was nearly a foot of water. It was incredible how fast it came through. The US National Weather Service declared a flood emergency in New York City, Brooklyn, Queens and parts of Long Island, also issued tornado warnings for parts of Massachusetts and Rhode Island. The extreme weather has been caused by the remnants of Tropical Storm Ida, which caused widespread devastation in southern Louisiana earlier this week. Many factors contribute to flooding, but a warming atmosphere caused by climate change more likely makes extreme rainfall. Laura Trevelyan, an anchor of the BBC's US newscast BBC World News America, said that it occurs because national weather service wasn’t predicting hurricane well, so it turns out predicting flash flooding. It is a sign that with extreme weather, the infrastructure which America hasn’t spent money on many years, is threatened.
