Podcast commentary on all your favorite reality show gems - because sometimes the drama is so fake that you know that it has to be real.
Ok. I’ve never been on the bachelor or bachelorette bandwagon, but I hopped on S16 and y’all, Clare is a gawd damn mess!!! She’s. A mess. I don’t understand how she was asked to be on this show again. Also dale is a POS. yeah, I said it.
We find out if Michael’s date (Amanda) showed up! We also meet Maddi and Kelvin who are trying to find love on the spectrum. Ps. Michael is my hero and I love him. There. I said it.
Ep 1 of Love on the Spectrum we meet Michael, Chloe, Ruth & Thomas - four individuals on the spectrum trying to find love. Y’all - this was only the first episode and I cried TWICE! Gawd dammit.
We got several little drops of drama in the episode but nothing really crazy (I know...lame). Chrishell & Mary share a birthday party together where Christine confronts Heather about why she doesn’t care for her. Mary gets upset when she realizes her younger boyfriend may not be on the same page as she is, and Heather cries over her boyfriend who plays professional hockey in Slovakia...where the hell is Slovakia?!
Welcome to Netflix’s Selling Sunset - where did this show come from?! I mean...Netflix obvs, but like, there are three seasons?! Anyway - starting w/Season 1 - Ep 1, we are just getting to know the ladies of Hollywood as they hustle and sell to the beautiful people of LA. Also - I think I Christine just might be my favorite.
It’s that time, we have officially reached the season finale of Season 1 and honestly, it’s not the greatest, but like - whatever. Sit down. Relax. It’s almost over.
We skipped Ep 8, and honestly we should probably skip Ep 9, but like, the kiddos are graduating in this episode, so we have to speak on that because...memories. Anyway no drama with the gang, but Lo got a new car for her graduation gift, and Christina got a bible...so there’s that.
Just FYI - we skipped ep 6 and jumped into ep 7 cause the previous was just so blasé. Anyway we are watching the gang get asked / ready for their senior prom. That’s it. It’s the prom episode - but the big gag is - Trey has a girlfriend?! Why wasn’t she on the show?! Girlfriend is cute!
Unbeknownst to me, apparently it’s the norm for HS kiddos to go party in Cabo for spring break. We got some drams with Stephen & Kristin, and of course we have LC who has to get in between. It’s just another day of dramsssssss in the OC.
It’s Christina’s 18th birthday 😒🙄 so we have to deal with her and Morgan for the majority of the episode. Also Christina has an on-broadway audition that she totally kills 😬👀
Kristin’s car breaks down because she forgets to change the oil (same, girlfriend. Same). Trey, Stephen, and LC go to a “fashion show” in LA where LC gets tossed to the side for some random model. Just another day in the OC.
The episode is called “The Bonfire,” but like - it’s not really about a gawd damn bonfire. Instead we have more Morgan and Christina BS, Kristin and Jessica cook for their undeserving boyfriends, and Trey has his first AYA event. What’s AYA? Still have no idea
For those of you who didn’t watch Laguna Beach (still boggles my mind) or if you just wanna take a quick 20min trip down memory lane with me - we are watching / listening / ABSORBING the ground work for the first season during this episode. No. I know. You’re welcome.
