We are officially on episode 40 of the Rebels With A Cause Podcast!! Thank you to all of you listeners!
Oftentimes when it comes to making decisions, people look outward for answers rather than inward…
However, YOU are the one that has to live with your decisions.
Everyone has their own opinion of what you should and shouldn’t do, but in the end, you’re the one that has deal with the consequences.
Listen to yourself and walk along the path you choose because you get the final say in whether your life was fulfilling or not.
So, the question is: are you going to make it fulfilling?

Some of the greatest advice that I have ever received in my lifetime has been:

Welcome everyone to episode 35! In today’s episode I share with you the story of how I traveled by myself for the first time EVER and literally looked up a map of the airport because I was so nervous!
Traveling by myself for the first time taught me some very valuable lessons and reminded me of what my ballroom coach said,
“Life to the conscious mind can be scary, dangerous, and intimidating, but the experiences life provides can help expand awareness and be a source of our ability to tolerate, love, and evolve into our greatest self.” – Michael Johnson

Welcome back to episode 31! We are on the very last episode of the Expand Your Mind with Quotes series. I appreciate all of you that have tuned into this mini-series and I am excited for what’s coming next on the Rebels with A Cause Podcast, so make sure to stay tuned!
I thought this quote was perfect for the end of this series. From Tom Bilyeu, it says:
“I know on a long enough time scale, I can beat anyone at anything because I won’t stop. Most people are broke emotionally. They can’t handle it. They can’t embarrass themselves. They can’t change their dogma.”
This quote is a great reminder to continue to be uncomfortable, challenge yourself and expand your mind. Most people live stagnant because being comfortable is nice. Continuing to expand your mind takes effort, but brings great reward like living a life that you know you created and are fulfilled by.
My question and challenge to you is: How are you going to continue to challenge yourself and intentionally search for growth on a daily basis?

Welcome everyone to episode 30 of Rebels with A Cause Podcast. We are on the second to last episode of the Expanding Your Mind with Quotes Series! Today’s quote says,
“I don’t care what anyone says…it takes aggression to win. I’ve never met anyone who has passively succeeded. You must aggressively, with full force pursue your vision or else failure will swallow you whole.” – Caleb Maddix
This quote is such a great reminder to myself that finding clarity and then pursuing improvement each and every day is what sets you apart from people who stay failing. It’s about knowing when to be planning and when to be in action.
Do you agree?

Welcome back to episode 29! Today’s quote comes from the author of one of my favorite habit books, Atomic habits by James Clear. It says,
“Strangely, life gets harder when you try to make it easy. Exercising might be hard, but never moving makes life harder. Uncomfortable conversations are hard, but avoiding every conflict is harder. Mastering your craft is hard, but having no skills is harder. Easy has a cost.”
The question is what kind of hard do you want? Who do you want to be? What trajectory are you sending yourself on? It all starts with a new kind of awareness which comes from questioning everything.

Welcome welcome to episode 28! We’ve got another awesome quote from Tristan Larsen. It says,
“This is why people who fall in love with the game win. Because they do the reading, the skill, development, the courses, the experiments…for fun. What others in business find dreadful they obsess on and that’s why they become billionaires. Their opponents grew their business for vacations and the Gucci store…not because they’re deeply in love with the act themselves.”
Too many people only focus on the result and not the systems that get you to the result. Goals and results are great for direction, but in the end, systems are what make your goals a reality.
What are you doing to make your goals a reality?

We are welcoming in episode 27! Let’s do this! Today’s quote comes from Ebonee Davis. It says,
“Many people are actually afraid to heal because their entire identity is centered around the trauma they’ve experienced. They have no idea who they are outside of trauma and that unknown can be terrifying.”
This quote reminded me of what one of my mindset coaches taught me of why people who are depressed of often stay depressed. It’s because its comfortable! And when I say comfortable, I mean it’s safe; it’s known.
So many people stay stuck in darker emotions or hurtful situations because though it may be terrible, it’s all they know and like the quote says, “the unknown can be terrifying.”
Staying comfortable in places that are hurting you is the enemy of change! Are there any identities you have centered yourself around that are hurting you?

Welcome back to episode 26 of the Rebels with A Cause Podcast! Ask anyone who knows me, I LOVE cleaning. I always thought it was just a strange obsession that I had, but this quote opened my eyes and led me to having a huge ah’ha moment going, “YES! They get it. This is why I love cleaning!” Here is the quote,
“Your home is an extension of your energy field. This is why practices like cleaning your home, rearranging furniture, organizing your closet and getting rid of objects that are cluttering your space can have a profound impact on your own mind, body and spirit.” – Maryam Hasnaa
Did you know that cleaning can be used as a tool to restore your energy? That’s why I love it because I clean to protect my energy, enhance my space and use it as a tool to restore my energy. Which is why I enjoy it so much.
This quote was an awesome reminder that our energy matters and it’s so important that we use it intentionally.

We are officially jumping into episode 25! Welcome all! I am exciting to be bringing you a quote from someone I have actually met! It says,
“Be someone who takes care of you, your own soul, your own well-being, your own heart and everything that is you and you will attract the person that treats you the same way you treat yourself. You attract what you are, not what you want.” – Andrew Kroeze
I apply this quote to relationships in the episode, but it applies to all aspects of life. Just wanting something is never enough to actually bring that thing into reality. You must make it apart of who you are for it to manifest into your life!
See you in the episode!

LET’S GO! We are jumping into episode 24! Welcome and grateful to have you here. This quote from Tristen Larsen is pure gold. It says,
“What’s interesting to me is this trend towards human beings finding ways to become other people. Whether that’s video games, new genders, disguised identity in WEB3/NFT world, creation of personal avatars…
I feel it all goes back to the idea of quiet desperation. You essentially have 2 extremes. Go all in on becoming your best self or pull back and become someone else. It’s hard to become someone of value yet it’s easy to look like someone of value online.
So, choose the easier route instead of the difficult one. Yet, on your death bed when it’s just you and “GOD” you will only care about who you actually became not who you appeared to be.”
I love this quote because I think in the end, we don't even truly have full control of our life force. That’s something that can be taken away from us. All we fully have control over, is who we are and what we stand for.

Welcome to episode 23 as we continue with the Expanding Your Mind with Quote series! Has your mind been expanded as you’ve listened? Because mine sure has!
I am happy to report that I’m finally going back into the archives of my quote vaults and finding inspiration one quote at a time! Expanding your mind can come in many different forms, even with something as simple as a quote…
Are there any parents out there? Or rather any adults? Today’s quote requires some real internal honesty. It says,
“Saw a quote that said “be the adult you needed as a child” and it’s changed my whole perspective.” – Shared on Jay Shetty’s story.
If you’re ready to be honest and search for answers that may surprise you, ask yourself, “What kind of adult are you and would your childhood self like you?”

Welcome aboard to episode 22! Today's quote is said by Whitney Goodman.
“Sometimes we are judgmental of people who are doing exactly what we want permission to do in our own life."
Our reactions to people are often just a reflection of our own insecurities. When you start to realize these insecurities within yourself, it is a great time to step back and find self-awareness in those moments.
Remember, you are the only one that you need to give you permission.

Welcome to episode 21! Can you guess this movie quote??
“If you see what I see, if you feel as I feel, and if you would seek as I seek... Then I ask you to stand beside me.”
One of the most empowering things I have learned in this life is how extremely important it is who you surround yourself with.
Asking those to stand beside you who also want to give 100% just like yourself will bring an entirely new energy into your life and will continue to push you towards the person you want to become.

Welcome back to episode 20! The Rebels with A Cause Podcast has officially hit its first 20 episodes! Thank you to all who have listened and supported this podcast so far. I am excited for what is to come!
For today's Expanding Your Mind with Quotes series, the quote is very simple. It's a saying you have probably heard before and I am not even sure who it is from. It says,
Now or Never
My biggest takeaway from this quote is as simple as the quote itself...you are not guaranteed anything. You are not untouchable from time.

Welcome back to episode 19!
Today’s quote is:
If you learn to love the little moments instead of just the big moments – you’ll set yourself up for a way stronger life of fulfillment” – Caleb Maddix
It's important to remember that the big moments don’t happen all too often.
So if you spend your life waiting to be happy only at those big moments, life will have a lot less meaning for you. And even more ironically, the little moments are what make the big moments possible.
Focus on the little moments and appreciate the little wins for in doing so you can find a whole lot more fulfillment.

It's episode 18 and welcome to the Rebels With a Cause podcast! We are officially 8 episodes into the Expand your mind with quote series! How are you guys enjoying the series?
For episode 18, the quote says,
“You’ll watch an entire Netflix series even when the first episodes are slow, just because someone told you that it gets better, but what if you looked at your goals like that and watched your life get better instead?” – Devon Brown
For me this quote this quite is simple. I think it signifies the instant vs delayed gratification concept well.
A lot of things in life seem to be all about about the instant gratification, but often the most worthwhile things are delayed. Can you find examples in your life where delayed gratification could serve you well?

Welcome to episode 17! How many of you have heard of Jay Shetty?
Today’s quote comes from him by saying:
“You always had the ability to change your life for the better because you always had the control. The control to change your thinking, the control to change your attitude, the control to change your choices."
It starts with one choice. Choosing to move one inch in a different direction that can completely send your life on a different trajectory. Just like a golf ball.
This is why I strongly subscribe to the belief that everything you do matters and how you do one thing is how you do everything. Because your actions determine who you are. They feed your identity.
So...are you feeding it the way you want to?

Today’s quote comes from Brendon Burchard. It says:
“What I got right was that I just did my art every day without worrying what others were doing. That made me less trendy but a whole lot happier”.
I think this is a great example of how the best way to improve is by being in competition with yourself. But how would this make you less trendy?

Welcome to Rebels With A Cause Podcast and thanks for joining me for episode 15! Have any of you read the book Man’s Search for Meaning?
Today's quote comes from Viktor Frankl, author of Man's Search for Meaning. It says:
“Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms – to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances.”
This quote is such a great reminder to me that, I do my emotions! Something I have said to myself over the years in order to remind me that I do my emotions is:
"I am response-able for how I feel and what I do. Nobody can make me feel anything. If I had a bad day, I allowed it to be that way. If I have a great day, I deserve the credit."
Using this mantra has completely changed my thinking and I encourage you to use it when you need a reminder that you do your emotions.

Welcome welcome to episode 14 of the Expand Your Mind With Quotes series!
Today’s quote comes from none other than Jim Carrey. It says:
“I think everyone should get rich and famous and do everything they ever dreamed of so they can see that it’s not the answer.”
Talk about throwing rocks at such a polarizing idea! A lot of people think fame, riches, and what they accomplish are the tools to creating a happy life.
However, someone who has achieved such things boldly says otherwise. I have heard from more people than just Jim Carrey, who have also achieved the fame and the riches, say the same thing.
So the question is...if riches and accomplishments are not the foundation to a happy life, than what is?

Welcome welcome to episode #9 of the Rebels With A Cause podcast. This episode covers how rebels with a cause know that daily action is crucial. As said in the rebels with a cause manifesto:
"A rebel with a cause confidently and consistently takes daily action towards their visions, however, they understand each and every intention behind their actions, knowing that action is nothing without intention and intention is dormant without the action behind it. They understand that the small steps you take daily determine the direction of their lives."
Let's get in to it!

Welcome back to episode #8 of the Rebels With A Cause podcast. So you know the common saying "I'm a rebel without a cause"?
Well, this episode covers why rebels act with a cause instead of without a cause. Rebels with a cause understand that, “intention is nothing without action, but action is nothing without intention”.
Hence why rebels with a cause rebel intentionally and with purpose! Let's get in to it!

Welcome welcome to episode #7 of the Rebels With A Cause podcast. Are you hunting for growth?
Rebels with a cause choose to chase growth on a daily basis even if it means putting themselves in uncomfortable situations. As said in the Rebels With A Cause manifesto:
"A rebel with a cause is ignited by their hunt for growth. They understand that the game of life is full of ups and downs and they eagerly welcome the challenge. They embrace the uncomfortable and understand that in order to achieve greatness they need to be willing to pay the price."
Welcome to the hunt!

Welcome back to episode #6 of the Rebels With A Cause podcast. Today is all about the power of asking why. This is not an uncommon idea, but I cannot stress enough how impactful questioning everything is.
Rebels with a cause understand that asking questions leads to awareness. As said in the Rebels With A Cause manifesto:
"A rebel with a cause questions everything, not for the fact of disagreeing for disagreeing’s sake, but rather intensely evaluating everything that enters their lives in order to make sure it moves them in the direction they want to go."
For in questions you can find true understanding and in the end, you are the only one left to decide for you.

Welcome back to episode #5 of the Rebels With A Cause podcast. Today we jump into how rebels with a cause know that they are in control of their own lives and take responsibility for it. As said in the Rebels With A Cause manifesto:
"A rebel with a cause is someone who knows that if they want to live their best life it will be because of themselves and no one else. They take massive responsibility for their actions, knowing that they are the ones to control their lives. They believe that they are the ones to change the world, to leave an impact. They believe that they can learn anything and be anything they choose."

Welcome welcome to episode #4 of the Rebels With A Cause podcast! This episode covers how rebels with a cause are creators and they believe it. One of the best quotes I believe to encompass this idea comes from Ayn Rand. It says:
“I started my life with a single absolute: That the world was mine to shape in the image of my highest values and never to be given up to a lesser standard, no matter how long or hard the struggle”
Let's get into it!

Welcome back to episode #3 of Rebels With A Cause Podcast! This episode covers how rebels with a cause are eager to expand their minds and explore the world. As explained in the Rebels With A Cause manifesto:
"A rebel with a cause is the curious person inside of us who has never been satisfied with doing things “just because we were told to”. They are drawn by the great desire to create something different, something better, than what the scripted life of society prescribes."
Let's expand our minds!
