The Hive Classroom: a Live Podcast Un podcast que se grabara en vivo semanalmente, tratando de responder las preguntas, dudas y dando tips y orientando a todos los usuarios que quieran participar.

Es obviamente una idea que ira mejorando y tomando mejor forma a medida que vaya avanzando y siempre son bienvenidas las sugerencias para mejora.

En este Episodio Hablamos un poco sobre:

¿Qué es la curación de contenido?
¿Cómo funciona la curación de contenido en Hive?
¿Cómo obtener el mejor APR por curación?

El tema es extenso por lo que no cubrimos todo lo que quería en un solo episodio y la semana que viene volvemos con los puntos que no tratamos en este.

Gracias a @eddiespino por unirse y ayudarnos a entender un poco más como tener un mejor APR y hacer votos más efectivos para ganar mejores recompensas por curación.

¿Cómo, Dónde y Cuándo? Realice una encuesta en el grupo de Telegram de la comunidad Hispana y la mayoría voto por un horario nocturno por lo que comenzaremos con:

🗓️ Miercoles Comenzaremos semanalmente todos los miércoles y veremos como funciona el horario a medida que avancemos.

Si ya eres un hiver con experiencia, puedes traer un nuevo usuario o incluso mejor a alguien que aún no tiene una cuenta para que pueda empezar de cero y abrir su cuenta con nosotros (si ayudaremos a aperturar cuentas a los usuarios que participen en los podcasts).

Hace 3 años comencé con la idea de Adopt a Plankton, que comenzó solo como una iniciativa de onbording pero ha evolucionado a un programa educativo para nuevos y no tan nuevos usuarios, con clases online y presenciales para ayudar con la retención más allá del onbording, uno de los puntos en los que más falla nuestra blockchain.

Las clases por lo general son durante 1 semana cada mes o cada dos meses, pero los nuevos usuarios y aquellos que tienen dudas y necesitan ayuda para mantenerse en Hive no pueden esperar tanto, por eso he decidido crear…

Hola comunidad! En este tutorial hablaremos sobre los Chats en Hive!

Sabias que existían? Los has usado?

OpenHive.chat Es un servicio traido por @gtg (aka @Gandalf) usando Rocket Chat

Rocket.Chat es una plataforma de comunicaciones de código abierto personalizable para organizaciones con altos estándares de protección de datos. – source.

Es el servicio mas antiguo de Chats en Hive y es bastante básico y sencillo de usar.

Sting Chat Lo más novedoso creado por el equipo de @peakd pueden ver el post de anuncio aquí fue desarrollado desde 0 por @mirafun es completamente descentralizado y de código abierto.

Al contrario de lo que puedan creer no es una actualización del antiguo Bee Chat, ya que este no ha sido actualizado recientemente y no es financiado su desarrollo por el DHF, es muy probable no siga su desarrollo.

Sting Chat por el contrario al ser parte de los proyectos de código abierto del equipo de PeakD si es financiado su desarrollo. El cual apenas comienza la versión que estamos usando actualmente es Alpha y tiene errores y bugs aun que corregir por lo que si tienes sugerencias o consigues algún error que quieras reportar lo puedes hacer directamente en el servidor dentro de Sting chat de la comunidad de Peakd.

Como usarlos? Vean el video es un tutorial de 30 min aprox de ambos servicios de chat, como loguearse y usarlos!

Cual usar? Yo soy de las que opina que porque no usar los dos? Jajaja ambos tienen sus ventajas y desventajas.

OpenHive es un servicio ya creado que es sencillo y no da muchos errores, puede ser integrado con otros chats como discord o Telegram, de hecho, hay canales ya enlazados con esas redes sociales en los canales en ingles de la blockchain en discord y Telegram. Lo mejor es que tiene un canal General para toda la blockchain, no esta separado por comunidades ni nichos ni nada, todos juntos y mezclados!

Esto desde mi punto de vista es beneficioso para un usuario nuevo que no sabe a qué canal unirse, aquí hay uno predeterminado fácilmente encontrable. Para poderte loguear necesitas hivesigner o usar la integración con hive.blog

En el caso de Sting Chat esta más enfocado en las comunidades y esta inspirado en el diseño de Discord, por lo que al entrar podrás ver las distintas comunidades actuar como servidores de Discord, es un poco mas personalizable (en el futuro tienen planes para hacerlo aún más bonito), en este caso necesitas keychain para poderte loguear.

Cuentenme que opinan, deberíamos intentar llevar a cabo una actividad en alguno de ellos para alejarnos ya del uso de Discord y pasar mas tiempo en las herramientas que han sido creadas para la blockchain y sus usuarios.

3 years ago I started the idea of Adopt a Plankton, which started just as an onboarding initiative but it has evolved into an educational program for new and not-so-new users, with online and face-to-face classes to help with retention beyond onbording, one of the points where our blockchain fails the most.

Aprende a Crear una Coleccion en PeakD

Hola chicos! Hace tiempo que varias personas han preguntado como hacer una Colección en PeakD y últimamente se me da más explicar mediante un video por eso preferi grabar el proceso de como crear una colección, pero si les sirve mejor una explicación escrita aquí esta una version mas corta y sencilla de como hacer una colección en Peakd.

Qué es una Coleción?Es simplemente una forma de visualizar de forma ordenada y mas llamativa Links de posts dentro de un post. Si, algo asi como Inception JAJAJAJAJA.

Solo puede ser visualizado de esta forma en PeakD, en otros frontends los links seran visualizados como normalmente se ven en un post (dependiendo de si le dan formato o no).

Cómo comenzar una Colección?Hay dos opciones

1. Directo en el menu de creación de posts en forma de Lapiz

Una vez seleccionada esta opción, podras entrar al editor de post con todo lo necesario para que el mismo sea una colección.

Aca podras crear la colección de la formar en la que tu crearias un post normal, pero si pueden observar el editor trae un codigo [//]: # (CCC LINKS PLACEHOLDER, DON'T DELETE THIS TAG) que no debe ser borrado el mismo debes dejarlo justo donde iran los links que desees agregar.

La Primera etiqueta de este tipo de posts siempre debe ser c-c-c adicional a contener el codigo antes mencionado para que se cree la colección. De resto todo va igual que un post normal.

2. Directo en el menu de opciones de 3 puntos que aparece en cada post

Seleccionas "add to CollectionEsta opción es en especial para agregr posts a coleciones ya creadas (tambien se puede crear una colección nueva pero es mas engorroso hacerlo asi)

Como pueden ver les da la opción de seleccionar la colección a la que desean agregar y tambien una opcion para agregar el comentario que deseen sobre le post.

Eso es todo?eso es lo basico a saber, de resto pueden ver el video alli hablo más a fondo sobre todo lo referente a este tema.

Ven a Aprender Qué es Hive desde 0!

Volvi en esta ronda de clases como siempre estoy acompañada de otros excelentes Hivers que tienen mucha expericia con temas especificos y que siempre me ayudan a dar las clases, mas abajo dejare las clases que ellos han grabado o en su defecto los tutoriales de cada una.

La ClaseMarkdown

Ok esta clase comenzo siendo dos temas termino siendo un tema casi que no completo porque luego de que termino recorde tantas cosas que no mencione realmente. Pero no se preocupen porque no solo hay tutoriales al respecto si no que pretendo grabar un complemento de esta clase.

En el caso de Markdown es un tema que asusta a muchos nuevos pero que realmente es sumamente facil y sencillo y que no necesitas realmente aprenderte los codigos porque siempre puedes tener una chuleta a la mano o usar las herramientas que te brindan los frontends en sus editores de posts.

Ven a Aprender Qué es Hive desde 0!

Esto de grabar las clases y subirlas se me ha hecho mas facil de lo que creia, estoy asombrada de que esta sea la segunda que subo y tan solo 1 dia despues de que la grabe WOW!

Honestamente me esta gustando esto de editar videos no es que lo ame y lo quiera hacer siempre, pero dado que las clases honestamente no es que necesiten mucha edicion, más que todo quitar aquellos momentos donde estoy hablando cosas no relacionada con el tema (solo si me acuerdo cuando lo hice porque si es algo que me toca que ver todo el video para adivinar donde esta no lo quito JAJAJA).

La ClaseSeguridad de Tu Cuenta Hive
Lo que considero uno de los temas mas importantes de todas las clases, ya que involucra la seguridad no solo de tu contenido si no de tus fondos, recordemos tu cuenta de Hive incluye la billetera donde podras mantener tus monedas y tokens por lo que debes cuidarla como una cuenta bancaria. (yo diria más aun).

Hablamos un poco de cada una de las 5 llaves que te genera la blockchain, de los servicios de autenticación que se sugiere usar para el correcto y seguro uso de tu cuenta y tambien sobre la recuperación de tus cuenta en caso de hackeo / cambio de claves.

Ven a Aprender Qué es Hive desde 0!

Al fin subo la grabacion de una clase! Jajajajaja siempre digo que lo hare y nunca lo hago y llevo más de 3 años dando clases asi que este post es un milagro!

Bueno esta vez me puse seria y dije dare las clases mas cortas y sencillas para no tener que editar tanto y asi poder subirlas, porque si soy sincera lo que odio es editar un video.

La Clase¿Qué es Hive?
Es un tema sencillo, básico y que todos los usuarios de esta blockchain deberían conocer, pero hay aun personas que tienen años en Hive que realmente no saben que es una blockchain, por eso me parece siempre que los nuevos usuarios deben aprender primero los términos básicos antes de saber mas allá, además esto es fundamental para entender que Hive es más allá que el Blog.

Las Reglas No Escritas de Hive y un poco más...

¡Hola chicos! Entonces, hice una publicación sobre este tema hace un tiempo que pueden leer Aqui porque todos podemos leer las "Reglas" en FAQ de Hive.blog y los diferentes ToS de las diferentes interfaces como ToS de Peakd. Pero een ningún lado se menciona, por ejemplo, cómo el reciclaje de contenido es un gran no en la cadena, hay un montón de reglas no escritas que la comunidad ha estado implementando aleatoriamente a medida que avanzamos.

Para un nuevo usuario ya es difícil aprender todas las cosas que tiene HGive ahora imagínense las reglas no escritas también, es por eso que desde un tiempo para aca este es un tema que se ha venido implementando en el cronograma de clases que damos tanto @soy-laloreto como yo, para asi ayudar a los nuevos y a los no tan nuevos a aprender como no meter la pata JAJAJAJAJA.

En este caso, la clase grabada que comparto en este post, fue parte del último ciclo de este año de clases organizado por Natalia para su iniciativa HIVE desde Cero.

Les soy honesta desde que empecé a dar clases en Telegram con la facilidad que me da la aplicación de grabar no solo audio, si no video de mi pantalla, he grabado todas las clases que doy siempre y digo siempre que las voy a subir, pero…. Mis clases por lo general son de 2 horas como mínimo porque siempre trato de responder preguntas y dudas y siempre terminamos alargando todo, y luego cuando quier editar me da flojera JAJAJAJAJA yo no amo editar videos y menos videos tan largos.

Tengo en mente hacer pequeños tutoriales de los temas, pero para nos eguir postergando el subir las clases para aquellos que no han podido asistir y quisieran poder oir y ver lo que se dio en ellas pues decidí simplemente no editar nada y subir el material original y bueno es un video gente sy hay partes que son muy largas o locas solo salten y sigan adelante… JAJAJAJA (sorry not sorry soy floja para editar).

Espero esto aclare dudas pero si aun luego de ver el video siguen con alguna déjenme saber en los comentarios y con gusto los ayudo!

Answering questions to new users!

I'm a mom with a little Kid, @eddiespino lives in Mexico, and @elizabeths14 lives in Ecuador. So, we weren't able to go to the big event that took place last week in Caracas - Venezuela, The Caracas Blockchain Week, the best way we could find to help out with the onboarding of the wave of new users joining from that event in our blockchain is to guide them, teach them and answer any doubts they may have, this is what we are doing in the Hispanic Telegram group that Hive has https://t.me/hiveblockes, just in the past week that group has gone from almost 700 members to 805 as I write this.

We are currently scheduling different activities like AMAs, Master Class, and HiveChats to continue to teach these new users (the old ones can join too), our first AMA was last night and we by request of the community recorded it so all those who couldn't join can still listen and learn.

The first steps you should take on Hive.
How RCs work.

and also Hive beyond the blog. Keep in mind Hive is a vast ecosystem with a lot of stuff to learn so in a small AMA of 2 hours we wouldn't be able to talk about every single thing, that is why we suggest if you have questions about anything else that wasn't mentioned in the video to feel free to ask in the comments (yes English questions are valid too!) and to take a look at the guides and tutorials we are always sharing and making for the community disposition.

Soy una mamá con un niño pequeño, @eddiespino vive en México, @elizabeths14 vive en Ecuador. Getting older the good and the bad...

I just wanna live but not turn on older LOL, here is the thing I’m not ashamed of my age I’m actually proud I’m the age I am and have all the things I have in my life, yet here I am thinking omg another bday I'm so old!

I hate having birthdays but I'm happy I continue to have them cause well you know the only way not to have them is if you die 😬. Let’s start talking about the bad to you know do the catharsis part of this post…

The Bad * Your body is making you feel pain in places you didn’t know existed before. * You get more wrinkles, I mean there are women who said they are proud and love they have them, and let me tell you those are LIES nobody likes to have wrinkles! This doesn't mean I will be paying for botox (cause I don’t have the money LOL) but to be honest they are a little annoying something maybe I will get pass in the future. * You can still get acne, like I had acne back when I was a teenager and well into my early 20s but then I started on the pill and said good bye to acne, now I'm old enough that I even had a child and decided to get sterilize so I don’t need more pills but well acne never forgets and has come back with a vengeance like you are older now less make you look even uglier. * People start calling you mam, mrs, etc… like no more miss you are old and have to deal with it. * You can not longer stay up all night and then pretend to sleep just 2 hours in the morning or will be like me today feeling like you are going to die. (and nope I didn’t stay up in a party I was working).

Now that we got the bad out of the way let’s do…

The Good

You eat cake, this can be done every day of the year but the good thing about it being your bday is you can eat it all yourself and not sharing with anyone and people cant say anything to you. I am lucky enough my boyfriend got me a chocolate cake, fill with chocolate buttercream, cover with Chantilly and topped with Oreo and ganache of chocolate I mean it was my dream come true.

I love chocolate this is like not a joke I can eat it everyday all day so to get a chocolate cake is a most in every birthday but the good thing about getting old is you are done trial and error and found the best ones in the city by now, there was not a question if this cake was going to be good.

^^^ I mean CHOCOLATE!!!! ^^^ * You stop worrying about what other people think like do I have wrinkles and acne, so what? who is going to care, people are probably going to talk but unless they are willing to pay the Botox or creams fro my face they can F$%@ off. * You start to embrace being call MRS like you don't even care anymore cause you have heard it long enough now that you just think well I'm old I cant do anything about it LMAO. * You understand better the limits of your body, and actually start doing schedules to have better sleep and treat it better, cause you now see how your body is not getting any younger and it needs this.

I get to be pampered and treated like a queen and also demand I don’t do dishes or anything else for the day. My boyfriend cooked me my favorite dish he makes a Chicken Cesar Salad.
To be honest the older I get the more I know how to demand this stuff, cause when is his bday I treat him like a king (to be honest I do this everyday doesn't matter if is his bday or not) i got better at knowing how to communicate stuff before I just didn't know how to express, I feel like we have a so much better relationship now, I mean i still want to kill him from time to time but to be honest, I feel more mature and act out more talking and less on the drama crying side of things.
I realize that even tho I still have things to accomplish in my life, there is food in my table, I have a roof over my head, and I have everything I need to be happy and to work and to continue to produce more money to be able to get all the other things I want.
I'm working on something I like, even tho is not what I studied for I really like what I do and allows me to pay the bills and buy stuff for the acne and try to fight it back lol I don’t lose hope I will someday wake up with no more pimples on my face.
The best thing about getting old is that since I already found the love of my life and we were ready and prepare to have him, I get to spend the rest of my days with the product of that love, my kid, and since he is getting older and smarter (he is only 2 years old) this was my first birthday with him singing to me the Bday song. And I just feel like nothing can top that not even the chocolate cake.
