The Soma Mama Podcast was derived from Courtney Windju's business, Sole to Soul Wellness, and her innate interest in embodied wellbeing. Courtney is currently a Master's student in Social Work and a Somatic Experiencing practitioner in training. Courtney is also a RYT certified yoga teacher, Craniosacral Fascial Therapy practitioner and an embodiment extraordinaire. Tune in to Soma Mama to discuss all things embodiment - yoga, craniosacral therapy, somatic experiencing, releasing trauma through the body, nutrition, movement, exercise and to learn more about simple somatic cues you can integrate into your everyday being!
Christabel is a mindfulness and empowerment coach for creative, resilient, intelligent women who are breaking toxic cycles of indecision, trauma, and scarcity, tapping into their truest identity and intuition, and creating their lives consciously, intentionally, and with ease.
In this episode, Christabel and Court talk about the process in finding and building self=awareness and how that shapes showing up authentically in the world. We discuss the role of being a forever learner, curious about self and the ways in which others exist around us. We dive deep into the meaning of presence and how being in different environments and existing in isolation (for a certain period of time) can help one become clear on their true identity, away from all the various conditionings of life. We discuss neurodivergence, paradox, humility and more!
Christabel can be contacted via her website or instagram. Check out her individual and group container offerings through masterpeace!
In this episode, Courtney opens up about Authentic Relating, both with self and others. She talks, not as an expert, but as a fellow human about how it looks like to show up authentically for her. She shares vulnerably a few ways in which connecting authentically has been inhibited in the past. She recorded this episode in real and raw time. She encourages you to reach out if anything you listened to resonates!

In this episode, we get to hear from the lovely ladies behind Love Ignites Peace (LIP), the mother-daughter duo based out of Denver, CO who love to "get their Freq (aka frequency)" on. What does this mean, exactly? Paige and Ashlyn are committed to raising their vibrations - and helping others do the same - all in the direction of love.
Paige thrives on introspective self-discovery, while Ashlyn loves hard and keeps things fun while doing so. One motto Paige & Ashlyn live by is.. "We ask the whys. We lean into the the maybes. We follow the inner knowing that there is something more for us to learn. Along the way we’ve learned that every challenge has a hidden message – some might even say a gift."
In this episode, we pack in a lot! We talk about energy being matter moving through us, frequency and vibration, divine interventions, the mystic and the unconditional bond between Mother and Child, which Paige & Ashlyn demonstrate so beautifully.
The Love Ignites Peace ladies can be contacted via their website , Instagram, their Podcast Bathtub Chats or by joining their FREE Book Club via this Facebook Group. They have plenty of offerings - (at)tune to how you can engage with LIP to help raise your frequency!
In this episode, Court shares with you some reflections in real time surrounding conditional and unconditional love in relationship. This could be in friendship, professional connection, family relationships and in romantic coupling. She alludes to the state of being in a "friendship" or "relationship audit" phase of life, which includes radical self-honesty, acceptance and space for reflection. What is important to note during these times is they aren't bad in fact, they are very natural. There is no better gift to give to oneself than allowing the space to truly and deeply reflect. And bringing curious and compassionate conversation to such reflections in relational context if it feels true to you.
As always, Court can be contacted @soletosoulwellnessllc or info@soletosoulwellness.com. Thank you for tuning in!
In this episode, and Tara discuss various forms of bodywork and healing to help release held tension, somatic trauma and energy. Tara is a Registered Nurse, Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, Craniosacral Fascial Therapy Practitioner, wife and mom. Our first conversation together can be found on Season 1 (episode 5) of Soma Mama.
Tara came across the Craniosacral Fascial Therapy technique "through God and intuition". It is a practice that helped her one-year-old daughter tremendously, and what catalyzed her desire to take the training herself was witnessing the transformative healing her husband experienced through CFT. In what felt like 7 years in the making, as Tara describes, she serendipitously had the opportunity to immerse herself into several trainings in 2022. Additionally, she started a business that services the Greater Philadelphia area, working with bioresonance, nutrition, bodywork and spirituality to help individuals tap into their greatest holistic health potential.
Below are links to some of the trainings/modalities discussed:
Tara & her business partner with, Shalom LLC, can be contacted via email at shalomwellnessllc@proton.me. She can also be found on Instagram.
Cait is a being experiencing life in Philadelphia, and she engages with communities through teaching and practicing vinyasa yoga, as well as working with non-profit programs to establish sustainable fiscal practices to support mission-driven work. She is originally from Texas (y’all), but Cait has been establishing deep, soulful roots in Philly since early 2021.
Court & Cait had the pleasure of meeting at an Advanced Teacher Training held at The Well Studio in Fishtown. Ever since, we have continued to connect through deep, soulful conversations, which is what you will get a glimpse of while listening. In this episode, Cait shared with us the wonderful idea of starting a "Truths Only" journal - we encourage you to start the practice as well :)
As discussed in our conversation, here are two 'modalities' referenced:
You can connect with Cait via Instagram or pop into one of her classes at The Yoga Co-Op in Philly on Mondays or Fridays! She can also be found practicing yoga at Three Queens in Philly.
In this episode, Randy and Court continue their conversation from episode 3 (season 2), to discuss Authenticity and what it looks/feels like to sit amidst discomfort. To simply give yourself a permission slip to be in your feelings, whatever those might be in the present moment. They talk to you about the value of connection and community and the ways in which it supports Svadhyaya, or self-study. The two shed light on conditioned tendencies, limiting beliefs and familial patterning. Courtney discusses how healing and authentic relating can in fact happen in partnership, ridding of the "I must do it all on my own" narrative. Randy offers clarity around leading from a place of fear versus living with love and acceptance.
Tune in to hear more! To join us in the conversation, follow us @thephillyyoganetwork, @inhale_exhale_philly & @soletosoulwellnessllc.
In this episode, there is mentioning of pregnancy, fertility awareness & postpartum. If this feels like a sensitive topic for you, please self-reference when (or if) it feels best to listen.

Activation warning: Courtney discusses eating disorders, addiction and suicide in this episode
In this episode, Court unveils to you her own struggles with mental health and the importance of TALKING ABOUT IT. I know, in these moments, this is the LAST thing we want to do, but I promise you, there are RESOURCES and other people out there who ARE facing or who HAVE faced the very thing we are enduring. I will always come back to this quote "love is love is love", meaning people LOVE you despite your hardship, despite your mental health struggles, despite your addiction, despite your weight gain...and the list goes on. Yes, people may have to set their own relational boundaries, given their personal physical, mental and emotional safety, but that doesn't mean they are doing so without love. PLEASE, from the bottom of my heart, talk to a loved one, and if you feel like that doesn't work, talk to a professional. The fact of the matter is, not everyone knows what to do or how to support in times of struggle, but for your own sake, keep on trying - as if you are climbing up a mountain. You WILL reach the top. You CAN reach the top. Don't give up. You are already beautiful and your voice deserves to be heard.

Here is a 5-minute heart expansion meditation to help uplift your energy and state of being. The best thing? You can do it from anywhere! Sitting, lying down, driving, walking, etc. Settle into breath, open up your heart and invite sensation into your body.
In this episode, Courtney shares through her experience what it means/feels like to be a Highly Sensitive Person & Empath. These are two terms that are thrown around a lot nowadays, so she wanted to break down what living as a very emotive person has felt like for her from childhood through young adulthood. She talks briefly about astrology, grievance and also eating disorders. Trigger warning: If you struggle with eating disorders OR have had a close family member pass away from Cancer, there may be parts of this episode that are uncomfortable to hear. Please listen mindfully and in accordance with your current mental/emotional state.
Here is a 5 minute mindful eating meditation that you can listen to right before you eat a mile. So often, in Western society especially, we are eating on the go, scarfing down our food, eating in front of a screen. etc. Slowing down to truly enjoy our food & all of its nutritional benefits is one of the greatest gifts we can give ourselves. Next time you eat, I encourage you to try one of the three: 1) Take 3 deep belly breaths before inhaling your food 2) Try to chew a bite 10 times before swallowing 3) Removed a tablet, device or screen from your meal experience. For more mindful & intuitive eating tips, I invite you to reach out to my sister who is an Integrative Nutrition Holistic Health Coach. You can find her website here or on Instagram @wildlyhealthybytiffany.
