This was filmed around the area of Anchorage, Alaska. Jasmine and Garrett travel to Alaska to scope out the best hikes, breweries and nature staying at Airbnbs in Anchorage, Homer and Seward. In episode one, they roam the hotspots near Anchorage and visit the Thunderbird Falls Hiking Trail, the Matanuska Glacier and several other spots. This was all shot on the GoPro Hero 7 Silver action camera.

This was filmed in February of 2022 with the DJI Osmo Action 2 camera AND DJI Mavic Air 2 drone in 2.7K resolution. Shot by me, Jacob Wayne and features my brother Wilson West and my wife Brandi.
We went fishing at the amazing Cypress Bend Park right there on the Guadalupe River in New Braunfels, Texas.
We also checked out Fischer Park - although I didn't film much there. Great fishing spots in the dead of the Texas winter - it will be great to go back when the fish are moving around again.

This was filmed at Chalk Bluff Park in Uvalde, Texas in April of 2018 with my father David and brother Wilson. We camped out under the oak trees near the river and the campsites were empty.
We fished and explored along the Nueces River and found some great spots. David caught a Black Bass type in the Blue Hole fishing spot up river.

This was filmed in Gruene, Texas on September 27th, 2021. We live in Gruene which is a historic town that sits on the North end of New Braunfels, Texas.
It has a unique charm because of its German heritage that began brewing in the 1840s and continued into the late 1800s as the Gruene family continued to grow the population that was based primarily on cotton. This gin is now the famous Gristmill Restaurant that you can see in the photos below the Gruene water tower. The even-more-famous dance hall is the white building that says "Gruene Hall" on the intersection (also below the water tower in one of the photos).
By the mid 20th century, Gruene became a ghost town and eventually got back on the horse to attract many travelers and townsfolk as they passed through the Texas Hill Country. There are tons of historic buildings dating back to the 1800s and they are now used as restaurants, bars, boutiques, antique shops, general stores and all kinds of establishments. You can spend hours here and absorb the relaxing vibes and hear local live music. Gruene is a Texas gem that will continue to flourish.

This was filmed on the Colorado River in Austin, Texas. Wilson and I put in downstream from the Pleasant Valley dam and tubed about half a mile down the Colorado River catching 3 bass from our last fishing spot.
A local fisherman gave us his bait and we used it immediately - not sure if he purchased the fish from a store or brought them from his home.

This was filmed at Cypress Bend Park in September of 2021 on the Guadalupe River in New Braunfels. The park is in between the River Acres Park and the New Braunfels Public Library and next door is the historic Comal Cemetery.
I didn't catch anything this time but I got a few bites and I plan to continue floating and fishing this stretch now that I know where the good holes are. I saw some bass and a few perch - they're in there!
