From sports, gambling, movies, entertainment, and whatever the hell else has gone on during the week - you'll experience what it means to be part of The Pine Room. So, pull up a chair, crack open a cold one, and make sure to get your bets in. Welcome... To The Pine Room.
Jarrett is joined in the studio by Nick and Sa for a lively episode where the crew kicks off football season talk, dives into memories of the legendary Shoney’s, and lets Sa unload his boldest Marvel takes yet. From touchdowns to time-traveling superheroes, it’s a conversation full of laughs, nostalgia, and strong opinions.
Stranded on an island? The guys break down their ultimate deserted island meals—spoiler: it's not coconuts and fish. From there, it’s a dive into the struggles of aging (and hangovers that hit harder than ever), with Cooley looking back on his glory days and questioning if he's still got it. Then it’s lights, camera, opinions as the crew gets into movie talk—Jub sings the praises of the new Superman film and makes the case that Marvel movies are, in fact, peak cinema.
In one of the strangest (yet somehow most thought-provoking) episodes to date, the guys dive into the age-old equalizer of humanity—Butt Mud. Yes, you read that right. Through immature humor and bizarre logic, they explore how certain… experiences unite us all. From hilarious toilet talk to heated debates about winter vs. summer temperatures, and a few stories from before the Pine Room even existed, this episode is weird, wild, and a weird kind of wise. Buckle up.
After a short break, Jub, Chris, and Matt return to the studio and pick up right where they left off. The trio kicks things off with a deep dive into Coach’s relentless bocce mentality and his not-so-humble tournament swagger. From there, the guys shift gears into the world of sports gambling and the soul-sucking grip of casino life. How long can one sit in a casino before losing their sanity—or their wallet? Do people really book cruises just for blackjack and slot machines? The crew opens up about their own battles with vices, weighing the highs and lows of drinking versus gambling, and spiraling into plenty of dumb, hilarious tangents along the way.
Jarrett, Coach, and Cools are in the studio this week holding it down while Jub is nowhere to be found (kind of). The guys dive into last week’s severe flooding that hit the area—sharing stories, local insight, and their thoughts on the impact. From there, it’s classic Pine Room chatter.
With the rest of the crew out, Jarrett and Cooley hold down the fort in this globe-spanning episode of The Pine Room Podcast. Cooley returns from an epic journey across the world and shares wild stories, culture shocks, and unforgettable moments from his travels to Tokyo and Thailand. Back home, the guys catch up on the latest happenings around Wheeling, trading thoughts on everything from local news to small-town quirks. Plus, Jarrett recounts his recent trip to a concert—where the music wasn’t the issue... it was the earsplitting instruments.
Soup, Cooley, Jarrett, and Jub hop back in the studio to break down a brutal weekend for Soup and Jub, who went head-to-head with the Tough as Nails 10K obstacle race in Wheeling. From muddy hills to mental hurdles, they relive every painful moment. Then, the crew dives into a gauntlet of sporting challenge hypotheticals—attempting to figure out what they could do, but mostly finding out what they definitely can’t. How much stuff do you think you could do?
In Episode 161 of The Pine Room Podcast, the guys take a hilarious trip down memory lane! From the wild stunts of Super Dave Osbourne to the golden days of Johnny Carson and classic SNL sketches, it’s a nostalgic ride through old-school entertainment. The crew swaps stories about car shopping mishaps, unforgettable old vehicles, and one outrageous tale involving a pair of underwear and a neighbor’s roof. Plus, local flavor with a DiCarlo’s Pizza discussion and plenty of stupid (but legendary) stories from “the old days.” If you love laughs, retro TV, and ridiculous memories, this episode is a must-listen!
In this week’s episode of The Pine Room Podcast, the guys welcome a very special four-legged guest: Eevee the Dog! They dive into Pittsburgh Pirates baseball, breaking down recent performances, trade talk, and what the future might hold for the Buccos. But it’s not all balls and strikes—Eevee steals the show with tales from around the neighborhood, her run-ins with local characters, and her life as the unofficial mascot of the block. Packed with laughs, sports takes, and a little barking, this one’s a home run you don’t want to miss!
After a week away, Soup, Jarrett, Jub, and Sa are back in the studio with a high-energy episode that swings from the gym to the jungle. The guys kick things off with some fitness talk before diving into Jarrett’s tragic trifecta of sports heartbreaks, dissecting the kind of day that would shake even the most loyal fan. From there, they debate one of life’s most ridiculous hypotheticals—could 100 average humans take down a gorilla?—and crown polar bears as the ultimate final boss of the animal kingdom. The episode wraps with a hilarious round of "Normal or Nah?" where everything from toothpaste habits to microwave etiquette is put on the table. Don’t miss this one—it’s a wild ride.
This week in The Pine Room, Jarrett, Jub, and Cooley gather around the table to ask a deceptively deep question: Have we already eaten the greatest meal of our lives? The guys dive into their all-time food experiences and debate what it would take to top them. Then, things take a wild turn as they imagine deadly animal matchups and which beasts they’d back in a battle to the death. Later on, Soup joins the chaos, adding his two cents (and plenty of laughs) to the madness. As always, there's a hearty dose of ridiculousness, hot takes, and questionable logic that you won’t want to miss.
In a more thoughtful edition of The Pine Room Podcast, Matt, Jeff, Soup, and Jub hop into the studio for a deeper dive into the holidays, beliefs, and everything in between. The crew kicks things off with their favorite seasonal traditions, debating which holidays hold the most weight—and which ones feel a little overlooked. Easter takes center stage as the guys explore why it often flies under the radar in the U.S.
From there, the conversation takes a meaningful turn as each shares personal thoughts on faith, religion, and the evolving role spirituality plays in their lives in 2025. It’s an honest, respectful, and occasionally eye-opening chat that blends humor with genuine reflection.
In this episode of The Pine Room Podcast, Jarrett, Cooley, and Jub hit the studio to break down one of the most groundbreaking news stories in recent history—the official release of the Minecraft Movie! They dive into what this means for gamers, nostalgia, and the world of block-building adventures.
From there, the guys reflect on the impact of video games in their lives, sharing stories of epic wins, brutal losses, and the life lessons learned along the way. Then, it’s time for another draft-style ranking as they take on one of the most important debates of all time: What are the greatest chips on the planet?
Later, the conversation shifts to weight loss and exercise—sharing personal experiences, struggles, and what actually works. And just when you think the episode couldn’t take a wilder turn, they wrap things up with a “Would You Rather” so disgusting it might just ruin your appetite.
This week on The Pine Room Podcast, Coach, Jarrett, and Cools dive deep into the world of sports as they wrap up basketball season and gear up for the highly anticipated Opening Day for baseball. They discuss the challenges posed by the unpredictable weather conditions, especially in West Virginia, where Northeast baseball teams are battling through some tough conditions. Plus, Coach and Chris reminisce about their younger days, sharing hilarious stories of sports-related tomfoolery and pranks they used to get up to. Whether you’re a hoops fanatic or a baseball enthusiast, this episode is packed with laughs, insights, and plenty of sports talk.
Jeff, Chris, and Matt dive into the controversy surrounding WVU Basketball being left out of March Madness and react to the governor’s response to the snub. The guys also share stories from their beloved Section 309 at WesBanco Arena, discuss the intensity of barroom debates, and reflect on how the meaning of institutions and locations evolves over time.

The guys reminisce about their beloved bar/club and the shifts they've seen over the years. They dive into the jaw-dropping prices of sporting events, debating whether the experience is still worth the cost.
Homecoming and prom used to be simple, but now? They’re full-blown productions! The crew weighs in on how these traditions have changed and if the extravagance is getting out of hand. Plus, they reflect on the heartwarming response to the Special Olympics basketball event The Pine Room had the honor of hosting. And with a certain Irish holiday around the corner, the guys chat about St. Patrick’s Day, its traditions, and how they plan to celebrate.

In episode 128 of The Pine Room Podcast, Jeff, Jarrett, Jub, and Cooley dive into an entertaining and unpredictable conversation.
