Great Hiveans and my amazing Afri-tunes people. I present to you a song of praise and acknowledgment of God's favour, grace, and mercy ober our lives.
My song presentation for this week's entry is a song of Thanksgiving, because it is still my month of thanks giving to God for His unfailing love over my life, family, and friends. So this piece is by Nathaniel Bassey, and he featured Enitan Adaba in this song titled Imela
LYRICS: Imela Song by Nathaniel Bassey Ft. Enitan Adaba When I think upon Your goodness
And Your faithfulness each day
I'm convinced it's not because I am worthy
To receive the kind of love that You give
But I'm grateful for Your mercy
And I'm grateful for Your grace
And because of how You've poured out Yourself
I have come to sing this song out in praise
Imela, Imela
Okaka, Onyekeruwa (Great and Might creator of the world)
Imela, Imela (Thank You! Thank You!)
Eze mo (My King)
Who am I to sing Your praises?
Who am I to worship You?
It's Your blood that makes the difference in me
And made a way to enter into Your throne
I could not come near Your presence
I could never sing Your song
But the sacrifice on Calvary's tree
Is the reason I can cry out today
Imela, Imela
Okaka, Onyekeruwa
Imela, Imela
Eze mo
Imela, Imela
Okaka, Onyekeruwa
Imela, Imela
Eze mo...
Onyedikagi (Who is like You?)

Greetings wonderful people of hive , I am here to render a piece that encourages us.
This song is titled "In Christ Alone" and I chose this song specifically because of the theme of this week. It is a song that helps is fight oppression, and gives us Hope, that In Christ Alone our Hope is found, because indeed, He is our all in all
This song encourages us not to give in to the challenges that we might be facing because Christ lives, and so therefore, in Him we have hope.
I trust you will enjoy this beautiful piece.
Lyrics:In Christ Alone by Adrienne Camp Liesching
In Christ alone my hope is found
He is my light, my strength, my song
This Cornerstone, this solid Ground
Firm through the fiercest drought and storm
What heights of love, what depths of peace
When fears are stilled, when strivings cease
My Comforter, my All in All
Here in the love of Christ I stand
In Christ alone who took on flesh
Fullness of God in helpless babe
This gift of love and righteousness
Scorned by the ones He came to save
Till on that cross as Jesus died
The wrath of God was satisfied
For every sin on Him was laid
Here in the death of Christ I live
There in the ground His body lay
Light of the world by darkness slain
Then bursting forth in glorious Day
Up from the grave He rose again
And as He stands in victory
Sin's curse has lost its grip on me
For I am His and He is mine
Bought with the precious blood of Christ
No guilt in life, no fear in death
This is the power of Christ in me
From life's first cry to final breath
Jesus commands my destiny
No power of hell, no scheme of man
Can ever pluck me from His hand
Till He returns or calls me home
Here in the power of Christ I'll stand

Greetings wonderful people of the hive open mic, I am here to render a piece by one of my favourite gospel crew, none other than Hillsong.
This song is titled "This is our God" and I chose this song because it acknowledges the fact that our sins are forgiven because God gave it all up for us. We are not worthy, but yet He came to pay the price for us.
This song was composed by hillsong, it talks about our God giving freely His son to die for the sins of the world in order for us to gain redemption. It's a song that speaks volume about the forgiveness of God. He came in human flesh and surrendered His life for us, that we might be forgiven of our sins and redeemed.

I trust you will enjoy this beautiful piece.
Lyrics:This is our God
Your grace is enough
More than I need
At Your word I will believe
I wait for You
Draw near again
Let Your spirit make me new
And I will fall at Your feet
I will fall at Your feet
And i will worship You here
Your presence in me
Jesus light the way
By the power of Your word
I am restored
I am redeemed
By Your spirit I am free
And I will fall at Your feet
I will fall at Your feet
And I will worship You here
Freely You gave it all for us
Surrendered Your life upon that cross
Great is Your love
Poured out for all
This is our God
Lifted on high from death to life
Forever our God is glorified
Servant and King
Rescued the world
This is our God
And I will fall at Your feet
I will fall at Your feet
And I will worship You here
And I will fall at Your feet
I will fall at Your feet
And I will worship You here
Freely You gave it all for us
Surrendered Your life upon that cross
Great is Your love
Poured out for all
This is our God
Lifted on high from death to life

Rescued the world

Whenever I call you
You're always there
As my source

Whenever I'm broken
You're there to heal me
As my healer

River that never runs dry (never runs dry)
River that never runs dry (no matter how we draw from you)
River that never runs dry (you can never run dry)
River that never runs dry
When men disappoint us
And people may fail me
You alone will stay

The doctors may give up
And say it's all over
In thee I put my trust

Mountain mover
Way maker

The reason for choosing this song this week I just cannot fail to acknowledge the fact that God came through for me this week. I had so many mind battles, so many financial issues to deal with in this month of October, which made me struggle a lot, but at each point I felt like just giving up, God came through for me, because He is indeed the River that never runs dry.

Greetings wonderful people of hive , I am here to render a piece that allows me to express myself freely by worshipping the creator of the Heavens and earth.
This song is titled "You are good" and I chose this song specifically because if there is anything I have ever had the freedom to do as a woman, is to showcase my vocal talent. I do not need anyone's approval to do that. And it is one thing I am never shy or afraid to do whenever I am required to.
This song makes me express myself uniquely, and it was originally written by David Nkennor, but in my presentation. I will be singing that of Sunmisola Agbegbi and Yinka Okeleye.
You can check out the Video on the Youtube link below.
I trust you will enjoy this beautiful piece.
Lyrics:You Are Good
You are good, You are kind
I have never seen Your kind
I’m devoted to Your praise
And forever to Your name
You are love, You are light
You make everything alright
I’m devoted to Your praise
And forever to Your name
You’re my King, You’re my Lord
You’re the mighty man of war
I’m devoted to Your praise
And forever to Your name
You’re my joy, You’re my hope
I will never be ashamed
I’m devoted to Your praise
And forever to Your name

Greeting my beautiful Hive people, I am here to render a piece that goes in line with the theme for this week which is "Orgullo Patrio".
This song is titled "Great Nation" and this song is by one multi-talented artist whose song I so much love, and I was more blessed to have had the privilege of meeting Him. This song is about acknowledging the fact that my country (Nigeria) is a great nation, and citizens of Nigeria have to acknowledge we need each other to make the Nation what it should be.
It is a song that encourages one to pride in his/her Nation, in this case, it's Nigeria, and as a citizen of Nigeria, I am proud to be a Nigerian, because I see the good than the bad in my country.
I trust you will enjoy this beautiful piece.

Lyrics: Great Nation by Timi Dakolo
Here we stand as a people
With one song, with one voice
We're a nation, undivided and poised
We will take our stand, and build our land
With faith to defend what is ours
Here we are as a people
With one heart, for one cause
We're determined to rebuild and restore
Where freedom reigns and truth prevails
A land where there's hope for us all
A land where there's hope for us all
We're all we have, we'll defend our land
We believe in this nation, and we know we'll get there
We're all we have, we'll defend our land
We believe in Nigeria and the promise she holds
And that one day we'll shine like the sun
We're a great nation
Though we are many people
Different tribes, different tongues
We're united in our strength and resolve
To uphold the honour of our land
And for generations to come
And for generations to come
We're all we have, we'll defend our land
We believe in this nation, and we know we'll get there
We're all we have, we'll defend our land
We believe in Nigeria and the promise she holds
And that one day we'll shine like the sun
We're a great nation
Nigeria Nigeria
Nigeria Nigeria
Nigeria Nigeria
Nigeria Nigeria
Nigeria Nigeria
Nigeria Nigeria
Nigeria Nigeria
We're all we have, we'll defend our land
We believe in this nation, and we know we'll get there
We're all we have, we'll defend our land
We believe in Nigeria and the promise she holds
And that one day we'll shine like the sun
We're all we have, we'll defend our land
We believe...
We're all we have, we'll defend our land
We believe...
We're a great nation.

Lyrics: Steady My Heart by Kari Jobe
"Steady My Heart"
Wish it could be easy
Why is life so messy?
Why is pain a part of us?
There are days I feel like
Nothing ever goes right
Sometimes it just hurts so much
But You're here
You're real
I know I can trust You
Even when it hurts
Even when it's hard
Even when it all just falls apart
I will run to You
'Cause I know that You are
Lover of my soul
Healer of my scars
You steady my heart [x2]
I'm not gonna worry
I know that You've got me
Right inside the palm of your hand
Each and every moment
What's good and what gets broken
Happens just the way You plan
You are here
You're real
I know I can trust You
Even when it hurts
Even when it's hard
Even when it all just falls apart
I will run to You
'Cause I know that You are
Lover of my soul
Healer of my scars
You steady my heart [x2]
And I will run to You
And find refuge in Your arms
And I will sing to You
'Cause of everything You are
You steady my heart [x2]
Even when it hurts
Even when it's hard
Even when it all just falls apart
I will run to You
'Cause I know that You are
Lover of my soul
Healer of my scars
You steady my heart [x2]
I'm not gonna worry
I know that you've got me
Right inside the palm of your hand

Daddy wey Dey bless
Forever you’re my father
Na u dey give me rest
When I look around
I see your faithfulness
I’ll bow down on my knees
Cos na u wey be the best

The reason for choosing this song for this week is by pondering on my journey so far in life, my past and present, reflecting on Gods leading so far, and coming to the conclusion, it has been Him all the way, if not for His leading, I will not be doing what I am doing, or be where I am.
I want to appreciate @ksam, @starstrings01, and @obaro of this community for this initiative for us to celebrate our African culture on Hive.
And my friends @onos-f, @magicfingerz, and @eugenia7499, and others who have always been supporting me through votes, comments and all. I love and appreciate you all.
I trust this song will encourage you to appreciate God for always being there for you.
Do sit back and enjoy this piece.

Greeting my beautiful Hive people, I am here to render a piece that goes in line with the theme for this week which is "DESAMOR".
This song is titled "My Heart Will Go On" and this song is by one talented artist whose song I am always thrilled listening to. Knowing the theme of this week means heartbreak, I rendered this song with the thoughts of losing someone so dear, which breaks my heart whenever I think of that person, but because of the good memories of the past, I am saying my heart will go on, and I just keep going on.
It is a song that brings back a lot of memory, but my heart will go on.
I trust you will enjoy this beautiful piece.

Lyrics: My Heart Will Go On by Celine Dion
Every night in my dreams
I see you, I feel you
That is how I know you go on
Far across the distance
And spaces between us
You have come to show you go on
Near, far, wherever you are
I believe that the heart does go on
Once more you open the door
And you're here in my heart
And my heart will go on and on
Love can touch us one time
And last for a lifetime
And never let go 'til we're gone
Love was when I loved you
One true time I hold to
In my life we'll always go on
Near, far, wherever you are
I believe that the heart does go on
Once more you open the door
And you're here in my heart
And my heart will go on and on
You're here, there's nothing I fear
And I know that my heart will go on
We'll stay forever this way
You are safe in my heart
And my heart will go on and on

Lyrics - "King of Glory" by Todd Dulaney
Yes, the world
Will bow down and say You are God
Every man
Will bow down and say You are King
So let's start right now
Why would we wait
King of Glory, fill this place
We just wanna be with You
Just wanna be with You
King of Glory, fill this place
Just wanna be with You
Just wanna be with You
Yes, the world
Will bow down and say You are God
Every man
Will bow down and say You are King
So let's start right now
Why would we wait
We can praise you now
In victory
King of Glory, fill this place
We just wanna be with You
Just wanna be with You
King of Glory, fill this place
Just wanna be with You
Just wanna be with You
So we'll sing Hallelujah
Till You come again
And we'll dance in Your presence
Till You come again
I'll just sing Hallelujah
Till You come again
And I'll dance in Your presence
Till You come again
We will sing Hallelujah
Till You come again
Yes we'll dance in Your presence
Till You come again
We will sing Hallelujah
Till You come again
And we'll dance in Your presence
Dance in Your presence
Dance in Your presence
Dance in Your presence
King of Glory, fill this place
Just wanna be with You
Just wanna be with You
King of Glory, fill this place
Just wanna be with You
Just wanna be with You
King of Glory, fill this place
King of Glory, fill this place
King of Glory, fill this place
King of Healing, fill this place
King of my peace, fill this place
King of my joy, fill this place
You hold the power
King of Power, King of Glory
King of Glory, King of Glory
And I'll dance in Your presence

Creator of the universe
What can't you do
What can't you do
Jesus
Name above every other name
What can't you change
What can't you change

Creator of the universe
What can't you do
What can't you do

Great and mighty God
You are able, Jesus
There is nothing
Nothing you cannot do
Nothing you cannot change
Nothing you cannot turn around
You are able
Great and mighty God
I put my trust in you...

This song is titled "PHOTOGRAPH" and this song is by one talented musician I so like, and the song relates with the theme of this week which is "Love Hurts".
It talks about how loving someone can hurt when you break up with that person you so much love, but having the good memories of that person can help you be in a good state despite losing that person.

Lyrics - "Photograph" by Ed Sheeran
Loving can hurt, loving can hurt sometimes
But it's the only thing that I know
When it gets hard, you know it can get hard sometimes
It is the only thing makes us feel alive
We keep this love in a photograph
We made these memories for ourselves
Where our eyes are never closing
Hearts are never broken
And time's forever frozen, still
So you can keep me
Inside the pocket of your ripped jeans
Holding me closer 'til our eyes meet
You won't ever be alone, wait for me to come home
Loving can heal, loving can mend your soul
And it's the only thing that I know, know
I swear it will get easier
Remember that with every piece of ya
Hmm, and it's the only thing we take with us when we die
Hmm, we keep this love in a photograph
We made these memories for ourselves
Where our eyes are never closing
Hearts were never broken
And time's forever frozen, still
So you can keep me
Inside the pocket of your ripped jeans
Holding me closer 'til our eyes meet
You won't ever be alone
And if you hurt me
That's okay, baby, only words bleed
Inside these pages, you just hold me
And I won't ever let you go
Wait for me to come home
Wait for me to come home
Wait for me to come home
Wait for me to come home
Oh, you can fit me
Inside the necklace you got when you were sixteen
Next to your heartbeat where I should be
Keep it deep within your soul
And if you hurt me
Well, that's okay, baby, only words bleed
Inside these pages, you just hold me
And I won't ever let you go
When I'm away, I will remember how you kissed me
Under the lamppost back on Sixth street
Hearing you whisper through the phone
"Wait for me to come home"

This song is titled "Days of Elijah" and this song is by one person I respect so much in the gospel music industry, none other than Donnie Mcclurkin. This song goes with the theme of this week which is "Trumpet Sound"
It talks about the trumpet call, and How the Lord will ride on the clouds at the Trumpet call. This resonates the feeling of the Last days when we shall be called home to where we truly should be. A place of peace, love and harmony.

"Days Of Elijah"
These are the days of Elijah
Declaring the word of the Lord, yeah
And these are the days of Your servant, Moses
Righteousness being restored
These are the days of great trials
Of famine and darkness and sword
Still we are the voice in the desert crying
Prepare ye the way of the Lord!
Say, behold He comes, riding on the clouds
Shining like the sun, at the trumpet's call
Lift your voice, (it's) the year of Jubilee
Out of Zion's hill, salvation comes
And these are the days of Ezekiel
The dry bones becoming as flesh
And these are the days of Your servant, David
Rebuilding the temple of praise
And these are the days of the harvest
The fields are all white in the world
And we are the laborers that are in Your vineyard
Declaring the Word of the Lord
Say, behold He comes, riding on the clouds
Shining like the sun at the trumpet's call
Lift your voice, (it's) the year of Jubilee
Out of Zion's hill, salvation comes
Behold He comes, riding on the clouds
Shining like the sun at the trumpet's call
Lift your voice, (it's) the year of Jubilee
Out of Zion's hill, salvation comes
There's no God like Jehovah!
There's no God like Jehovah!
There's no God like Jehovah!
There's no God like Jehovah!
There's no God like Jehovah!
There's no God like Jehovah!

This song is titled "More than Words" and this song is by Westlife. This goes with the theme of this week which is "More Than Words"
I love every bit of this song because there are so many words we tend to use to those we love such as "I Love You" but in certain situations, we do not mean those words, especially when it comes to sacrificing certain things just to be with the one we might have a claim to love.
It speaks volumes about expressing love more than words, expressing it by actions and not words. If you claim to love someone then there should be a sense of willingness to do what it takes to be with that someone, to make some commitments to that someone.
That is why I chose this song because it gives a warm feeling when listened to, and it is very much emotional and down-to-earth in a way.

Lyrics - "More Than Words" by WESTLIFE
Saying "I love you"
Is not the words I want to hear from you
It's not that I want you
Not to say, but if you only knew
How easy it would be to show me how you feel
More than words
Is all you have to do to make it real
Then you wouldn't have to say that you love me
'Cause I'd already know
What would you do if my heart was torn into?
More than words to show you feel
That your love for me is real
What would you say if I took those words away?
Then you couldn't make things new
Just by saying "I love you"
It's more than words, it's more than what you say
It's the things you do, oh yeah
It's more than words, it's more than what you say
It's the things you do, oh yeah
Now that I've tried to talk to you and make you understand
All you have to do is close your eyes and just reach out your hands and touch me
Hold me close don't ever let me go
More than words
Is all I ever needed you to show
Then you wouldn't have to say that you love me
'Cause I'd already know
What would you do if my heart was torn into?
More than words to show you feel
That your love for me is real
What would you say if I took those words away?
Then you couldn't make things new
Just by saying "I love you"

Great Hiveans and my wonderful Afri-tunes people, I salute you all. I have come again with a song that talks about praying to God about those we have at some point lost.
The title of the song is "OLORUN MI" by TIWA SAVAGE
LYRICS: OLORUN MI
Song by TIWA SAVAGE
Meet me tomorrow like we always do
But I know you’d be late like you always do
And this time I promise to tell you how much I care
And to hold you close cause you mean everything to me dear
Olorun mi gba adura mi
When you take all the ones we love
We’ll carry on and it won’t be long
I pray to be strong
Olorun mi gba adura mi
oh uh oh uh uhhh
I’m trying to remember the last thing you said
And wondering if you’re still near
Wish I could feel the silence with your voice
Now I’m staring at the wall
When you could be standing there instead
Olorun mi gba adura mi
When you take all the ones we love
We’ll carry on and it won’t be long
I pray to be strong
Olorun mi gba adura mi
Oh uh uh uh oh olorun mi gba adura mi
When you take all the ones we love
We’ll carry on and it won’t be long
I pray to be strong Olorun mi
Olorun mi oh uh uh oh gba adura mi gba adura mi
When you take all the ones we love the ones we love
We’ll carry on and it won’t be long
I pray to be strong pray be strong o o o

The reason for choosing this song for this week is a result of a lot of situations this week and occurrences, that has made me and some other persons lose some loved ones. And how painful the experience is, and how much we will miss those persons, It also was a week of me missing my late dad a lot, because there are certain situations I am going through currently, and he was one person who encourages me in such a time as this. So I miss him so much, but I know we will will be together again someday.
I want to appreciate @ksam, @starstrings01, @obaro of this community for this initiative for us to celebrate our African culture on Hive.
I also will love to appreciate all those who have been voting, encouraging, and supporting me.
I trust that this song will help you calm and bring comfort to your spirit, if you are mourning anyone this period.
Do sit back and enjoy this Acapella piece.

The reason for choosing this song for this week is a result of me pondering on the overwhelming love of God over me and how mindful He is of me. His love is far beyond what words can express and that is the reason why I chose to sing this song Excess love. I am sure you know that the love of God is indeed amazing and He is always mindful of us no matter the wrongs we do or how we go about our daily lives, His love is ever sure.
I want to appreciate @ksam, @starstrings01, @obaro of this community for this initiative for us to celebrate our African culture on Hive.

This song is titled "The One You Love" and this song is by Elevation Worship. It is all about the love of God towards us.
I love every bit of this song "The One You Love" it just adds so much warmth to the soul, just like when you are embraced by someone and you feel this so much love and comfort from that one embrace.
It speaks about the never ending, and never failing love of God towards us, and to me, this warms the heart, to know that even when no one loves you, God loves you and His arms are wide open to comfort you.
Just as the theme of this week states "Abrazo Musical" which means Musical Embrace.
That is why I chose this song, because it gives a warmth feeling when listened to you feel relaxed and so much loved.

Lyrics - "The One You Love"
… I can be real with You
Say anything and not be afraid
You made me and You like what You made
You made me and You don't make mistakes
I can be real with You
… You take me just as I am
You'd choose me all over again
I am the one You love
I am the one You love
… I don't have to prove anything
There's room at Your table for me
I am the one You love
I am the one You love
… I know You're proud of me
Even though I don't deserve it sometimes
No, I'm not a perfect child
But I still make my Father smile
I know You're proud of me
… You take me just as I am
You'd choose me all over again
I am the one You love
I am the one You love
… I don't have to prove anything
There's room at Your table for me
I am the one You love
I am the one You love
… Your love, Your love never fails
Your love never fails

This song is titled "We are the Future." The song by Ty Bello is all about the new generation being Brave and standing their ground on a change and demanding that the status quo changes, because they are the future.
There comes a time when the younger generation have to step in to position and they have to be brave enough to stand up and fight for their rights.
This song encourages the younger generation to rise up and speak that "they are the future".

Lyrics - "We are the Future"
We are the future
We are the dream
We are the nation
We are part of this
Yes we are so amazing
That's the least we shall be
At the heart of the nation changing history
How can they say that we are finished
We have just begun
When we have no where else to run to
We have no where else to go
So get out of the way
Out of the way
Of the land of our dreams
We are the nation we are part of this
Oh oh
We are the nation we are part of this
Ooooh
Carry the song
Carry the sound
The future is here
The future is here
Goodbye yesterday
Tomorrow is now for the taking
The future is here
The future is here
I am the future, I am the dream
I am the nation, I am part of this
Yes I am so amazing
That's the least l shall be

“Nara" means Thanks. Nara ekele means thank you, and it is to thank God for all He has done.
The reason for choosing this song for this week is a result of passing through pains a few nights ago and i did not think I was going to survive it, but God saw me through. Several times He had saved me and He is always listening when I call. So I am grateful for what He has done.
The song resonates a thanksgiving Spirit that will definitely bring you to that utmost presence of God, and help you remember all the Lord has done for you.
I definitely cannot forget to appreciate @ksam @starstrings01 and @obaro for this initiative for us to celebrate our African culture on Hive.
I also will love to appreciate all those who have been voting, encouraging, and supporting me from day one of joining this community.
Do sit back, relax and enjoy the song.

Great Hiveans and my wonderful Afri-tunes people, I hail you all today. I have come to present a song that talks about God's awesomeness, and how He proves Himself to be faithful in every situation we might find ourselves in.
The song is in Igbo dialect and English.
The title of the song is "Cheta" by Ada
LYRICS: Cheta
Cheta, cheta, cheta
I am God and I never fail
Cheta, cheta
Yesterday, today, and forever the same
Cheta, cheta
Echezokwala oh
Cheta, cheta, remember
Abum, Abum, Abum, Abum
Abum, Abum, Abum, Abum
I am Jehovah
Abum Abum
And I am able
Abum Abum
Is anything too hard for me
Is it ever too late for me
Whatever is it Abum
I am forever the same
Cheta
I am God and I never fail
Cheta, cheta
Yesterday, today and forever the same
Cheta, cheta
Echezokwala oh
Cheta, cheta, Aaah

“Cheta means to remember. Remember the numerous works the Lord had done in the past, in the present time, and do not forget. This song reminds us that God is "I am" and there is nothing too hard for Him to do, He did it in the time past, and He will do it again. No time is too late for Him to do what He alone can do".
I sang this song as a result of my pondering of God's faithfulness despite my unfaithfulness, of His unending love, despite my unloving nature. He is indeed the God who is ever faithful. Cheta is a song I cannot allow a week to go by without singing it because it resonates in me to always remember God is forever faithful
The song is a powerful song that will definitely bring you to that utmost presence of God, and help you remember all the Lord has done for you.
I honestly cannot forget to appreciate @ksam @starstrings01 and @obaro for this initiative for us to celebrate our African culture on Hive.
I also will love to appreciate all those who have been voting, encouraging, and supporting me from day one of joining this community.
