I rank 'sense of humor' as final number five, as part of my five Golden Rules. In this episode, I explain why nothing says true bond like the bond you have over inside jokes or the ability to use humor through heavy/dark life moments. Studies show that laughter and humor can reduce stress and anxiety - so why not? It's also a great reminder that life is too short and not taking life so seriously, can be good food for the soul.

I rank Intimacy as number four, as part of my Golden Rules. There is something about this word that can bring up so many different emotions and experiences for anyone - it can feel uncomfortable and delicate..almost naked, in a way. In todays episode, I share what my experience has been with intimacy and what I've learned and how I felt about it then versus now so it can hopefully shine some light on what role it's played in your life and what you really want in an intimate relationship.

I rank Compromise at number two, as party of my Golden Rules. I believe without #1 (trust) and #2 (communication), compromising with your partner can feel like a job more than a gesture of a healthy relationship. In this episode I give you a few real-life examples of my own experiences and what I've learned about compromising and what compromising may look and feel like to you.

I rank Communication under number two, as part of my golden rules, that I have learned to prioritize in my relationship. I believe the moment you loose the motivation to work on your communication is the moment you'll realize if it's worth watering it or moving on.

At some point in your life, you may have sat down with your partner and had 'the talk' - what is important to you in a relationship, what aligns or doesn't align and so on. For many us it's not one size fits all - your beliefs on what normal relationships look like, can highly depend on your past experiences. In this Mini Series - I am breaking down all 5 Golden Rules/Values that I learned to prioritize in a healthy relationship. These are by no means the only values that go into a partnership but they have been at the core of what I feel is so important and I hope inspires you to create your own.

Letting go of expectations does not mean "lower your standards" - it simply means to let go of the perfect idea or situation and release yourself from the pressure to have every little detail figured out. In this episode I share a recent reflection that truly opened my eyes to inviting opportunities with no expectations while still owning my standards and aspirations for the life I desire, but doing it in a way that relives me from my toxic tendency to have it perfectly figured out. I hope this episode is everything you needed to hear.

We all need our social media detoxes but I feel like now more than ever, there has been overconsumption fatigue and for me, this specific social disconnect hit different than the last and it felt like pure freedom.

I'm sure at some point, you’ve heard the phrase “Mind, Body, Soul” and maybe wondered - what does that actually mean? I am currently reading ‘Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself’ by Dr. Joe Dispenza and this book is completely shifting the way I view life and it’s challenging me to audit my own way of thinking.
In todays episode I thought I’d share with you my perspective from a short section in his book and how he is teaching us to tap into our brains and operate using the gifts we already have within us to become the person we want to be.
In his words “A new state of being creates a new personality…a new personality produces a new personal reality”

While society might worship hustle culture, the sneaky secret they don't tell us is that - trying to accomplish a million goals at once is the most disappointing outcome. In this episode, I am sharing a few goals I am focusing on this year to really FEEL different at the end of 2024. Because less is more and we are choosing quality over quantity all year long. Let's channel our inner minimalist while still being thoughtful in all areas of our life.

Choosing the right friendships is like selecting the ripest avocados – you want the ones that are mature, reliable, and add flavor to your life. Cultivating deeper connections is like caring for your garden – it takes time, effort, and occasionally weeding out the toxic weeds. Quality over quantity, girlfriend, because in the end, it's the genuine connections that make life feel wealthier from the inside out.

Being independent to a fault is like proudly wearing a "Do Not Disturb" sign even at a party. Sure, you're self-sufficient and resilient, but you're also missing out on the dance floor. Letting yourself be loved means realizing that vulnerability isn't a sign of weakness, but a badge of courage. It's like finally letting someone in to rearrange the furniture in your heart, even if it means finding out you've been storing your emotions in the attic for too long.
In this episode we talk all things independence - when it can be working against us instead of with us, knowing when it's safe to break down those walls, what to look for in a partner and use your independence in a gentle yet powerful way.

Ever felt guilty for placing boundaries because, well, you finally just needed a moment for yourself? I think I can speak for many of us and say, we have all been there. Boundaries can look different to everyone. Many of us still struggle in creating boundaries, myself included, we are all a work-in-progress here.
In today's episode we break down 5 simple signs that will help you recognize when a boundary may be needed and how to place it. Remember that, boundaries are not about "shutting everyone out" - boundaries are about having mini-systems in place, to help you recognize when to put yourself first. To listen to your body and mind and act accordingly by meeting your mental and emotional needs, so it can then allow you to show up as your best self for those around you.

It's January, it's the month where we hear people setting new years resolutions or what I like to call "setting intentions" for the new year. I was sad to read that by now, most people will have fallen off track on what they set out to do. Let's be real, we have ALL been there. Every year it's a chance to start fresh and try again.
In this episode I break down simple steps to start building your own habit tool box that can support you to stay on track, even when you feel unmotivated. Sometimes we add too much to our plate and breaking it down to the micro-level can really make us feel far more productive. This year it will be all about QUALITY over QUANTITY - kind of like fixing your squat form first, before you start lifting heavy.

Have you ever wondered, why is it so difficult to just take that leap a faith and start that business, start that class, pivot that career? I have and I know many of you can also relate. Often times, as we open and close different chapters in our life, we start to prioritize certain areas with great reason and we get caught up on, well, life. In this episode I talk about breaking those internal barriers that hold us back and how to take actionable steps to finally take that leap.
