Welcome to the thought-filled couch with Dr. Stephanie! The topic that’s on the table today is trauma and how it affects our identity. As people, no one wants to stay in a wounded place but we have to know what it looks like to actually heal from it. Being in an unhealed place is never good for one’s identity. In the last episode, Beulah said spoke on her journey with accepting her identity and how she has found solace in God’s thoughts of her, that out number the grains of sand.(psalms 139:1-18) However, today we are diving into the negative symptoms that are the aftermath of damage that happens throughout all of our lives and how in Christ all things can be healed. So, get comfortable, grab your bible and let’s dialogue, my fellow christians.
Meet your host Beulah Said as she dives deeper into her own testimony. Her road to her identity was a long one but meaningful one. Although God is still shifting her and her story, she would love for you, the listeners to get something from where she has been.
All season long, The Christian Dialogue will be engaging in the differencing levels of identity. Topics will vary but at the end, they will make up a beautiful picture that will shed lights on why identity is a foundational topic.
An identity shift isn’t just an instance but a journey, so strap on your walking shoes and let’s begin!
