The New York Giants bypassed Brian Flores with excellent record coaching the Miami Dolphins. New England Patriots mastermind Bill Belichick gave the approval or blessing or nod that Brian Daboll with no Head Coaching experience was a BETTER choice than a coach with 25 wins under their belt. The New York Jets --deemed that Adam Gase coming off getting fired from the Miami Dolphins was a BETTER candidate than Eric Bienemy- 2nd time around for many coaches they get better---in no world would any owner take a black OC over a proven Head Coach--as Bill Belichick's text offering congratulations to the WRONG Brian--the Rooney Rule was toothless as now BB refuses to name a OC to avoid the Rooney Rule--the NFL needs a coaches "combine" to get the best ---Kyle Shanahan Steve Belichick Pat Shurmur Hackett --Family Ties
PITTSBURGH Steelers HC Mike Tomlin received no respect until Antonio Brown went to the Patriots under The GOAT and still AB remained unchecked on and off the field ....Bill Belichick 7 + seasons without TB have been subpar....has BB developed the "west coast" offense or anything innovative to the NFL....BB is the GOAT of which way the wind is blowing in the stadium or how to do a "drop-kick" ....maybe Mike Tomlin is the better coach?
the starting point for me is the 1975 Red Sox and the "gold-dust" twins ( Jim Rice and Fred Lynn) ....Boston is the epicenter of sports (Russell Martinez...Hagler) and the forefront of race in sports in the perception of black athletes and coaches .....this episode we look at the Miami Dolphins fired coaches and there record in Miami .....did won loss record matter? and the smear campaign against Brian Flores .....the GOAT of coaching promoted Brian Daboll over Brian Flores .......
starting point of race in sports( from my point) is the 1975 Boston Red Sox with two sluggers all the way up to the Kevin Durant coming Boston this year .....We will look Adam Gase vs. Brian Flores both former NFL Head Coaches - with Bob Krafts' decision to hire Pete Carroll over Art Shell with a 47-33 record at the time - Boston is the epicenter of professional sports for many reasons(winning) and race is another.....and Boston can be used a backdrop for examining past on a national level and current issues such KD coming to the Boston Celtics
