別府を愛し別府に愛された別府在住の大学生3人が必死になって録った別府市内の音。ターゲットは「別府を1度でも訪れたことがある方」「別府に住んでいる方」「別府にまだ足を踏み入れたこともない方」。つまり全員です！これを聞いてぜひ別府に来てくださいね。私たちは観光案内所Wander Compass Beppuでお待ちしております！ Sounds of Beppu were recorded by three university students living in Beppu who love Beppu and were loved by Beppu, in a desperate attempt to record those. The target audience is "those who have visited Beppu at least once," "those who live in Beppu," and "those who have never been to Beppu yet. In other words, everyone! 別府には貴船城という白蛇が祀られたお城があるんです。ここでは実際に白蛇に触ることもできるんですよ。貴船城は高台にあるので、ルーフトップから見る別府の景色は至高です。今回の音声は貴船城のスタッフさんである猿渡さんの声。猿渡さんはフレンドリーに案内をして話しかけてくれるので、また行きたくなること間違いなし！ぜひ貴船城に行って猿渡さんとお話してみてくださいね！/There is a castle in Beppu called Kifune Castle, where a white snake is enshrined. 湯山の里は山の中にある温泉。なんとオーナーさんが自分で山を整備して作った自然の中にある温泉なんです！温泉の横に川が流れていたり、泥湯を楽しめたり。自然好きにはたまらない温泉です。ぜひ晴れた日に行ってみてくださいね。/Yuyaman-no-sato is a hot spring located in the mountains. The owner of this hot spring has built the hot spring in the the mountain by himself! There is a river flowing next to the hot spring, and you can enjoy mud baths. It is the perfect hot spring for nature lovers. Please visit on a sunny day!
別府には入るための温泉だけでなく、食べる温泉もあるんです！温泉の蒸気で釜の中に入れた食べ物を蒸すという別府ならではの地獄蒸し。湯山の里は山の中にある温泉施設で、自然と温泉が好きな人にはピッタリ！温泉のあとには地獄蒸しをして別府を感じる1日にしてくださいね。/In Beppu, hot springs is not only for bathing but also for you to cook your food in the steam of it! Beppu's unique jigoku-mushi is made by steaming food in a cauldron with steam from the hot spring. Yuyama-no-sato is a hot spring facility located in the mountains, perfect for nature and hot spring lovers! After the hot springs, make a day of it and feel Beppu by doing jigoku-mushi.
別府駅から15分ほど歩いたところにあるのが朝見川。こじんまりとした住宅街の近くにある川で、そこから見る鶴見岳も綺麗です。この朝見川に行くまでの道にべっぷ駅市場という商店街があるので、ぜひそこを通ってみてください！穴場なおいしいお店がたくさんありますよ。おすすめのお店が聞きたいときは、ぜひWander Compass Beppuへいらしてくださいね。/The Asami River is a 15-minute walk from Beppu Station. The river is located near a residential area, and the view of Mt.Tsurumi from there is beautiful. There is a shopping street called Beppu Station Market on the way to Asami River, so be sure to pass through there! There are many nice shops. 湯冷滝は地獄蒸し工房鉄輪の入り口付近にある温泉を冷ますためのモニュメント。滝のように上から水が落ちてきて、その落ちる過程でお湯を冷ますんです。今回はその音を録ってみました。このモニュメントがある地獄蒸し工房鉄輪では、温泉の蒸気で食べ物を蒸して食べる「地獄蒸し」を楽しむことができます。別府に来たら温泉に入るだけでなく、温泉を楽しむ体験もぜひ楽しんでくださいね！/Yureidaki is a monument located near the entrance of Hell steaming workshop KANNAWA to cool down the hot spring water. Water falls from above like a waterfall and cools the water in the process of falling. This time, we recorded the sound of the waterfall. At Hell steaming workshop KANNAWA, where this monument is located, you can enjoy "jigoku-mushi," where food is steamed in the steam of the hot spring. みなさん、境川に行ったことはありますか？桜と言えば別府公園と思われがちですが、境川でも春にはとてもきれいな桜並木が見られるんです！春の季節だけでなく、冬に境川から見る鶴見岳の雪化粧も美しいですよ。今回はそんな綺麗な景色を想像しながら境川の水の音をお楽しみください。/Have you ever been to Sakai River? People tend to think of Beppu Park when it comes to cherry blossoms, but Sakai River also has beautiful rows of cherry trees in the spring! Not only in spring, but the snow-covered Mt. とある日の別府公園では鳥の鳴き声と木の揺れる音が心地よく聞こえていました。別府公園はリラックスするのにもぴったり！散歩に疲れたら芝生に寝転んでみるのもいいかもしれないですね。/One day in Beppu Park, the sound of birds singing and trees swaying was pleasant. Beppu Park is perfect for relaxing! If you get tired of strolling, it's nice to lie down on the grass.
別府には別府公園という四季折々の自然を楽しめる場所があるんです。春は桜、夏は竹、秋は紅葉、冬は落ち葉を楽しむことができます。自然を感じたいときはぜひ別府公園へ！個人的なおすすめは竹林です:)/There is Beppu Park where you can enjoy nature in all four seasons. Visitors can enjoy cherry blossoms in spring, bamboo in summer, autumn leaves in fall, and fallen leaves in winter. If you'd like to feel the nature, go to Beppu Park! My personal recommendation is the bamboo grove:)

鉄輪には「湯雨竹」という竹で作られた温泉のお湯を冷ますための装置があるんです。リラックス効果のあるこの音ですが、実際に見るのも心が浄化されますよ。ぜひ鉄輪に来て別府ならではの湯雨竹を楽しんでください！/In Kannawa, there is a model made of bamboo called "Yumetake," which is used to cool the hot spring water.
