Episode 60!!!
I recently put a post out on LinkedIn about how I book my incredible podcast guests and the strategy I use to do it.
That post did pretty well, so I wanted to touch on it a little bit here and then answer another question I received: How do you pick the solo episodes you record?
My secret: The Linking Method
In this episode I'll reveal:
Exactly how we repurpose intrigue from platform to platform.
How we build authority, not followers
The strategy you can use to gain attention easily for your brand
If this episode resonated with you, I recommend you go back to episode 29 to listen to Antonia Bates' journey and how she built an audience in the right place, through linking.

There's so much going on at this time of year and for many of us, nothing seems to be slowing down just yet! If you're struggling to find time to look back on your year in preparation to make changes for 2024, I get it!
In this episode, I want to give you a reminder of why reflection is so powerful in how you then plan for your next year and I'll share a few prompts on how I do it.
This works for me and is something we do in our business, but we're all unique and you might want to approach it in a different way. As long as you're finding a little bit of time to review your year, that's the main point of this episode!
Here are the areas I cover for my review of 2023:
What's the bigger picture and why am I doing this?
What are my values? What impact? Who is my audience?
How is my current business helping to serve them ^^
How are the areas of my business supporting the bigger picture? What will I start, stop and continue into 2024?
Some people will just think on these areas, others will write them down, put them on a vision board or record some notes, what ever works for you!
If you need some inspiration for 2024, I recommend you go back and listen to episode 56 with Cortney McDermott on finding your happiness. It'll get you in the right place to take on some reflective thinking.

Willingness to be liked is human nature, we all want to stay relevant and know others are fond of us. Can you push past that innate desire to put yourself first and unlock the mindset that in the short term at least, you're going to level up by making changes to your routine and priorities?
In this episode I discuss the tricks I've used over the last 2 years to change my mindset and allow me to flourish as an entrepreneur.
My guest today is Lauren Tickner, CEO & Founder at Impact School. Lauren became a millionaire at just 23 after monetising her highly engaged social media following with a health and fitness platform. She went on to help others do the same before launching Impact School, which helps people sell their knowledge online and has worked with over 1200 business. Lauren has also spoken on the same stage as Alex Hormozi, Gary Vee and interviewed Grant Cardone.
My guest today is Sam Winsbury, founder of the UK's leading personal branding agency. During university he realised the power personal branding had and began curating his and helping others with theirs. Now he and his team at Kurogo have helped hundreds of entrepreneurs and CEO's build brands that stand the test of time.
In today's episode I am joined by Corina Goetz, a Middle East specialist with over 20 years experience advising individuals and businesses of the pitfalls of getting the approach to business wrong. We explore how the region has changed in her time working with a number of countries as well as the tips and comparisons we should think about when considering a move.
Most entrepreneurs don't like taking a break. They feel guilty, anxious and an overwhelming urge to check in on the business because they think it won't run without them. What does that tell us? Maybe that there are not systems and teams in place to look after the operations, marketing or fulfillment of the business. Lets dive into what stops an entrepreneur taking a break and why taking that break might be the best thing you could possibly do for your business!
A super short episode to help entrepreneurs level up their health with little to no effort. That feeling of health is what pushes us forwards to achieve better results for our body, mind and business so why not find quick fixes to start us on that journey.
Formula 1 is taught in business schools and referenced by business mentors the world over. Why? Because of the teachings we as entrepreneurs can take from the worlds most expensive sport and implement into our businesses. In this episode I cover the main topics I believe we can take from F1 to create better businesses that stand the test of time.
Strategy is the buzzword everyone wants to talk about in business. What's the best strategy to take me from here to here? Everyone is looking for that short cut to success. In my opinion, this is only 25% of the work. In this episode I explore the strategies I learnt from working in large corporate the secrets I picked up from talking to hundreds of successful entrepreneurs. Spoiler - the answer is not what you think or want it to be!
In this episode we break down the stigma around psychology and find out how burnout is effecting our relationships both personally and professionally. My guest Charlotte Spurway is a psychologist using a casual rather than clinical approach to allow people to benefit from the power of their mind.
Eudaimonia is a Greek philosophy associated with Aristotle. It's a deeper and more powerful feeling than happiness, which you can find when you find a deep sense of fulfillment and well-being. It's said to be an active pursuit and the ultimate goal of human life. But how can we put this into practice on our entrepreneurial journey to unlock success?
In this episode I go over why I turned down a couple of incredibly lucrative job offers in the last year or so. I explore the pros and cons of entrepreneurship versus a job and ultimately why people do give us on their dreams and fall back into the perceived security of a job.
The world of investment has such a scary stigma around it for many. Terrified of investors demanding their money back many start ups and scale ups allow their ideas to die when they could have been saved by capital injection and a steer in the right direction. Well, that's what today's episode is all about. James Church is Co-Founder of Robot Mascot, the UK's leading investment readiness agency. He is also an established author of 'Investable Entrepreneur' and in this episode we explore the world of investment, the do's and don'ts as well as what you can do as an entrepreneur to prepare.
In this episode we explore 5 areas you might not ordinarily think about in order to make your business operations healthier.
Survivor bias > Process > Culture > Leads > Product
This is a short snippet episode about confidence. Far fewer people are watching you than you think. This is good for your confidence when you go to the gym and have a fear of being judged but realise no one is actually looking. Conversely, it's bad because your businesses marketing wants attention and you probably aren't getting the signals you desire!

What is entrepreneurial resilience? Why is it important? And how can I start building it today?
Resilience is one of the most important parts of entrepreneurship as it holds you steady on your path to success.
In this episode I discuss productive laziness and how it can be used alongside discipline to start to remove bad habits and put processes in place to aid your growth and get more done. We touch on the use of energy cycles to help with getting stuff done and importance of understanding how and when you work best. Discipline is super important, habits are key and if you're struggling to get started, harness your laziness.
Antonia is our most asked after guest by far. We have been on this journey together for a long time as partners and Co-Founders, which is why our stories intertwine so nicely. In this episode we talk about the stresses of competing for your country, but more so, the benefits and the immense sense of achievement it brings. We also delve into the mindset of an athlete and how that transpired into Antonia's educational and corporate journey before taking the plunge into entrepreneurship.
In this episode we explore the different variants of compounding, from diet and exercise to studying and business. People believe there are short cuts for everything and that successful people have become 'overnight successes' through little more than luck. Well, lets explore the compounding effect and where perhaps you are going wrong.
