Welcome back to Invisible-the podcast about living and/or parenting while managing chronic illness and neurodivergence. In this episode, we discuss two major disabilities that we forgot in our first episode. Angelic is both hearing impaired and has auditory processing disorder, things that have strongly informed her life from the age of three. We discuss what her experiences using hearing aids were like, the social impacts of feeling shame due to her disability, the social isolation she experienced due to her disability, and related topics.
