Episode 13
Title: Joseph Poliquin
Summary: Rock star Joseph Poliquin has a big movie coming out soon called Five Nights at Freddy’s. Hopefully he won’t be cut out of that project, as he was in Daisy Jones and the Six. He also worked on American Horror Story for several months and only one small scene of his made it in. With the making of Greyhound, a movie starring Tom Hanks, Joseph had to go through rigorous boot camp training. His part wasn’t cut in that movie but the experience was a little weird since he wasn’t sure who would be in the scenes with him and if he was even going to have many lines or not. Through it all, he is happy to have made friends on set and he also developed lasting relationships with the crew. He has gotten positive feedback about his acting choices, never giving in to typecasting that is not aligned with his brand. He himself is a filmmaker who understands that actors have a choice to make their own films, and this will avoid the typecasting problem altogether.

With zero industry contacts, she managed to secure an agent and go out on jobs and auditions. Proving anything is possible, she is the epitome of going after your dreams, especially since the burning desire will always be there anyway, so why not? She has acted in television, films, commercials, and even did some stage work. Despite having a brief episode of stage fright, she had the courage to work through it. The experience made her stronger, and prepared her for future unexpected events. Through it all, she relies on other actors, since it is a very strong community of mutual support and encouragement.

Summary: Actor Tokeo Jamison has performed in plays such as Showboat, Annie, Arsenic and Old Lace, and he just completed a run on stage performing as Max Detweiler in Statesville’s rendition of The Sound of Music. He explains that he almost didn’t audition for the role, due to a long absence in performing. He almost let his nerves get the best of him, but he showed what can happen if you don’t give up on following your dreams. It pays to take a risk and put yourself out there, because as Tokeo explained, reading the script with the casting directors felt like being home. And once he performed at the show, the energy he received from the crowd was amazing. He looks back at how his journey started, which includes writing his first play when he was only thirteen years old.
