The Tri-City Water Follies features much more than just boat racing. Jamie Council catches up with Lorren Johnson, Director of Water Ops, about the behind the scenes on the water and rescue teams as well as A-10 pilot Lindsey Johnson. The largest 3 on 3 basketball tournament is right in our backyard. The Spokane Hoopfest has been a PNW staple for over three decades and gives back to the basketball community in many ways. Jamie Council catches up with Hoopfest Executive Director Riley Stockton and professional basketball player Brandon Porter of Wenatchee Bighorns about the impact of Hoopfest.
It's chalking up to be one of the most competitive H1 Unlimited seasons in recent years. Jamie Council catches up with the hydroplane drivers as they prepare to start the circuit later in June.

The H1 Unlimited Circuit is about to kick off later this month. H1 hydroplane testing took place in the Tri-Cities at the end of May, causing excitement in Tri-Town for the Columbia Cup and Water Follies later in the summer. Jamie Council catches up with Aaron Stephens and Strong Racing.
Eastern Washington has produced a lot of baseball talent over the years. In 2024, the Tri-Cities held their weight on a state-wide level with Richland (4A) and Tri-Cities Prep (2B) hoisting state championship trophies while River View (2B) finished runner up. Jamie Council also covers an event that's designed to celebrate the best senior talent in the area.
Columbia Basin Youth Football is Washington's largest youth football league. The non-profit organization is working to eliminate the cost barrier for youth in the community to participate. Jamie Council catches up with representatives Jamie Weber, Jeff Kinne, and Terran Brown.

The Richland boys basketball team have been the conference champions for the past three years. This season, they went 16-0 in MCC play. Starting district play tonight, the Bombers are looking for their first district title since 2016 and want to return to the dome.
Joddie Gleason was named to the watchlist to the Mid-Major Coach of the Year. The Eastern Women's Head Coach has helped her team to a 5-0 start in Big Sky play and a record-setting 9 game win streak.
The Wenatchee Bighorns are entering their second season in the TBL. With professional basketball back in Eastern Washington, the Bighorns are looking to recruit local talent including East Valley's Brandon Porter as well as Gavin Long from SPU as well as top talent around the country. Kennewick football finally broke their drought, sharing the MCC title with Kamiakin and Chiawana in the 2023 season. Now, the Lions want to end the drought of never winning a state championship. Jamie Council catches up with Randy Affholter about the team this year and the challenges and advantages of being a 3A school in the Mid-Columbia Conference. Kennewick faces Mercer Island Saturday, November 4th at 2:00 PM at Lampson Stadium in the round of 32 as the 8 seed. A victory would put them in the round of 16 with re-seeding taking place before the round of 16.
Smaller schools often require administration to wear many different hats. At the 2B school of Tri-Cities Prep in Pasco, the Athletic Director also serves as the Head Football Coach and Kyle Cairns had trial by fire as he heads into year 2 with the Jaguars.
The Chiawana's slow-pitch softball team is one of the most dominant and most underrated teams in the Tri-Cities. After back-to-back state championships, the Riverhawks are looking for a 3-peat next weekend.
