When we look at Jesus' family tree, we see God guided human history to ensure Jesus perfectly fulfilled the criteria to be the Messiah, our Savior. God's providence worked behind the scenes of human history for thousands of years to make sure the plan of salvation did not fail. God's providence is still guiding and working in our lives today.
