The WSIU DNA Files is a local production of WSIU Public Radio in coordination with the national DNA Files III series. WSIU DNA Files uncovered local genetic projects and explored alternative uses of current genetic technology including umbilical cord stem cell donation, the genetic differences and similarities of twins, genetic tracking and modification in hatchery and wild sturgeon, and the ongoing debate between organic and GMO food. The DNA Files III is an award-winning NPR series that explores the mysterious world of the genome and its impact on life in the 21st century Produced by Berkeley, California-based SoundVision Productions.
