Aaron is currently the Managing Director for the Family Office of Jeremy and Kristin Andrus. He is a Co-Founder and Partner in Swell Capital (a venture capital investment vehicle), as well as Swell Collective (a family office focused, growth equity fund).
Aaron has been a venture capital and private equity investor for the past 15 years in the intermountain region. He spent 8 years with Mercato Partners and worked with incredible entrepreneurs at companies such as: Skullcandy, Stance, Goalzero, Mediconnect, Cradlepoint, Domo, Control4, and Steelhouse.
Aaron has invested in over 100 companies, across more than 200 transactions, in venture capital, growth equity, buyout, and real estate.
He began his career in Southern California as a strategy and operations consultant with Ernst & Young (Cap Gemini). He also worked in Corporate Finance and M&A at Quiksilver, a publicly-traded company in the action sports industry, based in Huntington Beach.
Aaron completed his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of Utah, and his graduate degree in Finance at Pepperdine University.
He currently lives in Draper Utah with his wife (Colleen), and his two sons, Ashton (18) and Dallin (5).

Both Alexis, whose background is in sociology, and Chanté whose background is in psychology, have spent the past 20 years advocating for youth in a variety of platforms including inclusion and diversity, education, empowerment, safety, leadership, career development, and self-esteem as well as working diligently to make schools and communities safer.
Alexis and Chanté have been keynote speakers/presenters/panelists at national and international conferences and served on the Board of international organizations. They have emceed events such as TEDX SLC, spoken and presented at colleges and state educational organizations, at city town meeting halls, and to mayors and law enforcement. They have written magazine articles, study guides, and sections of published books. Calyann Barnett is an American celebrity fashion stylist. She is the co-founder of The Shop in Pop Up Shop, a fashion brand with her friend and client, Dwyane Wade. She received her undergraduate degree from Florida International University in Business Administration. She also attended New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology from where she kicked off her styling career in 2007. Some of her clients have include, Dwayne Wade, Usain Bolt, Donavan Mitchelle, Jordan Clarkson and D-nice. Calyann is the creative director for Counter Point, the Utah Jazz private label apparel and a creative consultant. Calyann lives with her husband Sky and two adorable children in Miami.

Vanessa Quigley is Chatbooker in Chef and cofounder of Chatbooks and a Florida girl at heart. She earned her bachelor’s degree in vocal performance and pedagogy from BYU. She enjoyed performing, teaching, and directing music and theater. One day she’ll return to the stage after cheering on her children in their activities.

Under his leadership, Skullcandy disrupted the headphone and wearable electronic space, growing into a $300m public company. Jeremy was named EY Entrepreneur of the Year in 2016, MountainWest Capital Network Utah Entrepreneur of the Year in 2017, and was inducted into the Utah Technology Council Hall of Fame in 2018. Jeremy received his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and B.A. from Brigham Young University. He lives in Salt Lake City with his wife Kristin and their six children. This was such a fun episode. Cameron Treu is the Founder and Owner of Bam Bams BBQ. He’s had a job since he was 14 years old, and after his LDS mission he gravitated toward all things sales: cars, hot tubs, pool tables, RVs, alarm systems, you name it. After nine years, he and his best friend Andrew opened C&D Marketing, where they took their door-knocking skills and built teams to generate leads for local insurance agencies. But when Treu saw BBQ on TV, everything changed. He sold his half of the marketing company and dove in tongs first. In his first three years of cooking, he did everything from sell BBQ, design BBQ, cook BBQ, teach people how to cook BBQ, compete professionally in BBQ, become a Grand Champion in BBQ, move to Austin, Texas to learn from the king of BBQ John Lewis, to finally come back to Utah in 2013 to open Bam Bams BBQ. And today? His shop in Orem has become a local legend.

Lisa Richards is the founder and owner of Skin Boss LLC. She operates the SkinBoss SkinSpa in Provo, where she mentors a group of estheticians and carries out skin consulting and spa services. She also runs an online store retailing skincare. As her team continues to grow, she wants to positively contribute to the esthetics industry through continued education and connecting with others in the industry.

Nan Greene Hunter always wanted to be an author, or an actress, but for reasons unknown to her she graduated from Brigham Young University in zoology. Nan is the mother of eight children and the founder of a child-centered private school where she has inspired parents, teachers and children since 1982. She lives in the quiet woods of Wallsburg, Utah, where for 21 years she has shared her love of drama and life with her 36 clever and boisterous grandchildren at a 'Grandma's Camp' where they perform and play. Nan's posterity numbers 72 and growing; they are her love and her legacy. This winter she will join with members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter -day Saints to serve a full time mission. We bid her adieu and Godspeed.

He organizes and builds communities in a really unique way, truly for the good of the people that he serves. I love Clint's generous heart, his quick wit, and his laid-back approach. In the past, whenever I have elicited Clint's help he has always helped me see that things are simple and easy. In the episode we talk about how he went from making sandwiches to running the Tech Hub in Utah, how he balances home, work and family life, and what it was like to shoot his brother in the nose with a BB gun.

I’m so so excited that you’re here. This has been a long time coming for me. If you’re one of my friends, I’m sorry that you’ve had to hear me talk about this forever and i’m sure that you’re relieved that I’m finally getting started! I’m also so flattered and grateful that you’re here. I know there are millions of podcasts and places to spend 30 mins to an hour and i’m so grateful that you would choose to spend that with me.
We’re kicking off season one with an episode where I interview one of my good friends and favorite people, Jess Toolson. Jess and I met about 7 years ago when her twins were 1 and they were still wearing my moccs! At the time Jess and her husband were traveling the world so that he could play basketball and I was super impressed by her ability to make international moves and make it look easy. When she started her company, I’ve been impressed with her tenacity and her community first mindset. Something you need to understand about Jess is she is building Mixhers at a break-neck speed, the velocity is impressive, however even more impressive through all of the success, Jess is always looking for ways to take other women with her for the ride. .In this episode, she’s going to talk about the biggest lesson she’s learned as an entrepreneur, which I personally love. What it’s like to market a taboo product and we even get to hear about her first kiss. I know that you’re going to fall in love with Jess just like I have.
