ever wonder what a conversation was like in a rideshare vehicle, would you like to be that "fly on the wall," come and listen to our podcasts which come from actual driving experiences in a rideshare car.
As human beings we grow through hardship, finding one's self through our cultural heritage, through travel with our loved ones and losing our loved ones. Here are stories from my riders about their experiences, each unique in their own way but something each one of us can understand and bond with.
With growth and expansion, companies are having to evolve and adapt to changes in their growth and business model. The last five years have seen the opposite from the rideshare platforms, whom they have taken more from the rider and the driver regarding fares that are charged to the riders and fares given to the drivers. Bad app navigation, unreasonable fares sent to the drivers and very bad customer service to the riders regarding wait times and the fares they are charged. Here are some of their experiences during the conversations between the driver and riders during their rides.
Every day we go about our daily lives, same routine until something unforeseen happens. It might be tragedy in the family or something that happens to us. Either way, how we look at every day happenings in our lives, make us think back about how we are blessed, for others, its about being 'Lucky.' Being in Blessed environment or coming out of an accident, is a blessing.
Towards the end of the year, every college football fan is following their favorite team, whether or not they are alumni or not, and tracking who is going to the college bowl championships, this year is another amazing year with Georgia, Georgia Tech, TCU, Michigan and Ohio State with an awesome season. Couple that with the fact that the World Cup is playing this year in Qatar with the sea of foreign visitors coming into town, the talk is bound to explode.
Sports of all types is being shared and talked about. Not just at lunch or the water cooler at work, but also in rideshare vehicles. Meeting Rideshare Drivers, both novice and veteran, is humbling because they might be doing things that even you as a "veteran," may not of thought of doing and you still learn a lot. Education is key and constant learning helps you in everything and anything you do. Never stop learning and never stop evolving.
Its odd to get the same rider again in some instances when you are driving but even stranger when the riders you pick up the day before or the day after ending up having six degrees of separation from each other as I found out driving this past Halloween Party Weekend, around a particular school campus.
Its a hot topic and I feel empathetic to families that have experienced gun violence in their family and inner circle, that being said, this topic is swirling all through the United States. I am a registered owner of a sidearm and make no excuses for it.

After taking quite a few riders to the airport so they can catch a flight on Spirit Airlines, I have found that other than price, this is the only reason why they bought a ticket from Spirit. Other than one rider who said Spirit was better compared to Frontier Airlines, it seems that economics was the sole reason that drove them to this decision. This podcast about the adventures on this airline is short and sweet, nothing else needs to be said.
