With growth and expansion, companies are having to evolve and adapt to changes in their growth and business model. The last five years have seen the opposite from the rideshare platforms, whom they have taken more from the rider and the driver regarding fares that are charged to the riders and fares given to the drivers.  Bad app navigation, unreasonable fares sent to the drivers and very bad customer service to the riders regarding wait times and the fares they are charged. After taking quite a few riders to the airport so they can catch a flight on Spirit Airlines, I have found that other than price, this is the only reason why they bought a ticket from Spirit. Other than one rider who said Spirit was better compared to Frontier Airlines, it seems that economics was the sole reason that drove them to this decision. This podcast about the adventures on this airline is short and sweet, nothing else needs to be said.
