An overview of the city of Yerushalayim, its significance in the Rebbe’s Torah, and his relentless call for its integrity. Presented in

Exactly 50 years ago, Egypt and Syria simultaneously launched a vicious coordinated attack against Eretz Yisroel on Yom Kippur. The Rebbe’s leadership during those trying times is a guiding light today.
The Rebbe explained on different occasions that many of the things we take for granted in today’s day and age are really forerunners for Moshiach.
For example, just as Moshiach will bring wealth and prosperity to the world, so too we in our generation are privileged to live with economic standards that our ancestors could only dream of.

Based on the principle that Hashem did not create anything for no reason, this too must be another opportunity to add in avodas Hashem.
The Rebbe does not ignore the fact that summer is a time of freedom and fun, but he also does not see that as a negative thing.

Those who have visited the resting places of tzaddikim know that there are some places that have a solemn, constricting effect on the visitors, while others propel an uplifting and joyous mood. The Rebbe’s Ohel is of the latter category. Arriving at the Ohel, even before any contemplation, one’s mood is uplifted. The tone is joyful.
The figure of the Baal Shem Tov is larger than life. From his birth to his passing, all his travels and encounters, and the stories that accompany them, are all cloaked in “Baal Shemske” fantastical excitement. But it is not only his life story that was out of this world, it is also the impact that he had on the entire Jewish world that is incredible.
To truly appreciate the work and life of the Baal Shem Tov, it is important to look back at the history leading up to the appearance of the Baal Shem Tov on the scene of Jewish life.
The Baal Shem Tov arrived at a pivotal point for the Jewish masses, awakening the simple Jews and their leaders from the deep slumber of galus and desperation, towards the light and warmth of Chassidus, bringing the Jewish people ultimately on their final way towards the geulah.
The Rebbe’s unique and multifaceted Torah continues to gush forth like an endless stream of refreshing water and the Rebbe’s breathtaking impact on the world is only starting to be discovered. It can be felt in every area of Yiddishkeit and resonates in the halls of power and academia. One need not be familiar with every maamar and sicha to know that the objective of the Rebbe’s nesius is to bring Moshiach
Over the years, the Rebbe underlined the great zechus that a woman has in maintaining tznius and covering her hair, particularly with a sheitel, and pointed to it as a major source of blessing for her and her family.
This episode revisits the entire story of Hei Teves, pointing out that all along, the Rebbe’s approach to the issue was more than just a legal battle over the seforim. There was a major ruchniyus’dike aspect as well, alluded to very often in the Rebbe’s sichos and ma’anos before, during, and after the court case.
There are many riddles and enigmas surrounding the coming of Moshiach and the events that will come to pass in the prelude to those days. The exact date of Moshiach’s coming is one of the most intriguing, yet strangely attracting questions that the chachamim have alluded to throughout the generations.
The reason for this might very well be because it is a riddle. A riddle found towards the end of chapter 12 of Daniel.
For more than 102 years, the Rebbeim of Chabad called the town of Lubavitch home, and from there Chassidus spread around the world. Chassidim from all over would journey to the town of Lubavitch to spend a few uplifting days, weeks, or months with the Rebbe. In this episode, we revisit the incredible experience of Shabbos in Lubavitch after the Rebbe Rashab founded Tomchei Temimim.
What is the Lubavitcher philosophy about studying secular studies in schools?
Should all schools be teaching limudei kodesh exclusively?
Should parents pull their children out of the secular studies program?
Did the Rebbe agree to a secular studies program?

The novi Yishayahu tells us, “And the wolf shall live with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid goat. And the calf and the lion cub and the fattened cow together, and a young boy shall lead them. And the cow and the bear shall graze together, their young shall lie, and the lion shall eat straw like cattle. And an infant shall play over the hole of an old snake and over the eyeball of an adder, a weaned child shall stretch forth his hand. They shall neither harm nor destroy on all My holy mount, for the land shall be full of knowledge of Hashem as water covers the sea bed.”

The story of a weekend for college students.
A weekend spent in Crown Heights basking in the Rebbe’s presence.
A weekend which brought thousands of young people closer to Yiddishkeit.
A look at the underlying meaning of the unique effort to spread the universal ethical laws, known as the Sheva Mitzvos B'nei Noach, among all the peoples of the world—a theme passionately discussed by the Rebbe at almost every major farbrengen, especially in the 5740’s, and particularly the televised farbrengens.
As chassidim, the mainstay of our lives is the constant study of Chassidus. Throughout the generations our Rabbeim continuously urged their chassidim of the importance of illuminating their everyday lives with the holy divrei elokim chayim of Chassidus.
It is clear to Chassidim that our time period is unique. The Rebbe expressed unequivocally many times that the avodah that Hashem has tasked us with - to bring Moshiach - has been completed. Therefore Moshiach is ready to come. If so why hasn't Moshiach arrived? Is there something else we must do in order to hasten his coming?
By the end of the 1980s drastic changes were coming about in the world. One after another, events that seemed completely unrealistic in the recent past suddenly became part of the constantly changing present.
The Rebbe maintained that these amazing events were not by chance, rather that they are signs of a new era dawning upon the world and that we are seeing a preview of the effect of Moshiach.

In 5727, the first group of Talmidim Hashluchim to Australia was sent to support and establish the yeshiva there. The Rebbe invested a great deal of energy and interest in the group, and they even merited to have a sicha said for them in yechidus. From the time Chazal instituted the mitzvah of kindling the Menorah, the objective has been to publicize the nes of Chanukah to the outside, illuminating the world around us. The Menorah is expected to be placed in the open - al pesach beiso mi'bachutz.
Chassidus explains that the light of the Chanukah Menorah is even stronger than that of the Beis Hamikdash, possessing the unique power to overcome and ultimately transform the darkness of galus with Hashem’s infinite light.
But it would take more than two thousand years for this goal to be truly realized, when the Rebbe’s mivtza Chanukah actually brought the light of the Menorah to the public domain.

Yud-Daled Kislev, the wedding anniversary of the Rebbe and Rebbetzin, was often marked by Chassidim in a special fashion. Typically, Chassidim would celebrate by making hachlatos to give the Rebbe nachas. However, major milestone years warranted something unique and memorable. Thus, for the fiftieth anniversary (5739), N’shei U’bnos Chabad commissioned a sefer Torah to be written in honor of the Rebbe and Rebbetzin. In 5741, the Sefer Torah was finally completed. Consequently, the week of Yud-Daled Kislev was particularly joyous and eventful. Presented here is an account of the major highlights of that week.

For Chassidim in Dor Hashvi’i, Rosh Chodesh Kislev is one of the most joyous days on the calendar. The distress of Shemini Atzeres 5738, and the double-fold simcha of Rosh Chodesh Kislev, are memories that are etched into the hearts of every Chossid that experienced them. This day has since been established as a full-fledged Yom Tov, replete with a seudas hoda’a and farbrengens late into the night.
The full sequence of events would be able to fill an entire book; here we have chosen to focus primarily on the events of Simchas Torah, Rosh Chodesh Kislev, Yud-Tes Kislev, and Zos Chanukah.

Torah is extremely diverse. Within every facet of Torah, there are four general ways to explain the concepts at hand: “P’shat,” “remez,” “drush,” and “sod”. We are also told that there are“shivim panim laTorah,” seventy angles of how to understand each concept in Torah.
But at the very base of it all, Torah is really all one.
The Rebbe explains that the reason Torah is essentially one, even though it seems so diverse and multi-faceted, is because the Torah comes from Hashem—who is the ultimate “One".

This Chof-Ches Sivan marks 80 years since the arrival of the Rebbe and Rebbetzin to the shores of the United States.
