Regeneration is one of those things where God works in mysterious ways.We would not be able to respond to God in faith unless God regenerates us first; in other words, God must take the initiative and give us spiritual life for us to respond to him.

Regeneration may be defined as: "a secret act of God in which He imparts new spiritual life in us." Wayne Grudem.

Justification is a Right and Legal Standing before God; when God effectively calls us through the Gospel or the preaching of his word (or whatever the circumstances may be), and we respond to that call in an attitude of faith; at that moment, we are regenerated, this is when God’s Spirit, (His loving Holy Spirit) touches our heart, and we are converted in faith toward God.

God responds to that faith and (declares us to be righteous). Justified.

This story is entitled "The seventh miracle." Why? Because Johns Gospel revolves around only seven miracles and seven "I AM" statements. Out of the countless miracles Jesus ever did, he only records seven. Well, this one is the seventh.

This is where Jesus took a man dead for four days in a cave and brought him back to life; his name was Lazarus. And the statement was, "I AM " the resurrection and the Life. This miraculous event occurred at the culmination of the Lord's ministry. Just days before, the Lord would be betrayed by Judas, handed over to the Gentiles, and ultimately crucified for the sins of the world. It is to our great comfort to learn from this narrative Jesus has life within Himself that indeed he is the resurrection and the life and the authority of it. So with that, please be in courage to listen and learn how Jesus not only taught the resurrection but demonstrated it according to John's gospel on the House Top Gospel Podcast.

"I Am the Light of The World!” Jesus. (John Ch. 9: 5).

No one, in all the writings of antiquity has anyone ever made such claims of themself as Jesus. His claims are, He is the Son of God, that He created the universe and existed before time.

C. S. Lewis says, He claims to be humble and meek and we believe him. But unless he was and is God, there is nothing humble about such claims. Says Lewis, if his claims were not true and he was a mere man, he would be no less than a lunatic or something worse.

But he was and is God; one hundred percent divine and one hundred percent human. And has revealed himself to us as the great “I AM” in the New Testament.

Jesus Walks on Water

The disciples at wit's end, their hearts too hard to take it all in, beards drenched from the storm, their capacity to believe the unbelievable is pushed farther than they could ever imagine or dare to dream. Within hours of feeding 5000 men from a small boys lunch,
Again, they encounter one of the most unbelievable miracles Jesus has ever done.
Jesus is approaching the disciples out of the darkness of the chaotic sea without a boat walking on the water.

The Lord wanted to get away with the guys to get some rest, so they all got into a boat and went to this quiet and solitary place. But the people were following them.  Jesus and his disciples were already tired at this point. But the Lord, when he landed on the shore, only to meet this great crowd of men, women, and children, had compassion on them. So he welcomed them and continued teaching them many things about the Kingdom of God despite how tired they were and feeds 5000 men.

This is an extremely powerful passage Jesus preached about himself at Jerusalem.
Because of The Lord's powerful words, the religious leaders wanted to kill him.
Despite the astonishing miracle of healing a crippled man of 38 years.
And, the authoritative discourse of truth that followed the miracle.
That's why John picked this miracle as the third miraculous sign, confirming Jesus as the Messiah. John Ch.5.

The hostility between the Samaritans and the Jews originated hundreds of years before this story. It was not a coincidence that God met up with the Samaritan woman at the well.
But rather we see the grace of God being extended to the Samaritans through her.
And God took the initiative to extend the olive branch to the Samaritans through Jesus Christ.

The free gift of salvation that Jesus offers you and me correlates in the New Testament's first recorded miracle.
Jesus made wine a symbol of his own life, saving blood; he gave the wine a new meaning.

And when his disciples witnessed this miracle, the Bible says, "Jesus manifested his glory, and his disciples believed in him from that day on."

This first recorded miracle of the New Testament took place at a wedding.

The Bible clearly teaches a part of God's plan of redemption is like a giant wedding feast; Jesus is the groom, and his church is His bride. In fact, the last several sentences of the entire Bible are yours and my invitation to the wedding feast.

" The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let him who hears say, "Come!" Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life.

Jesus knew he was equal with God and all things, all power and authority were his, and yet he rose from the table in glory, laid aside his robes of light, girded himself with our human nature, and took upon himself the form of a servant.

The story of Mary anointing Jesus in Bethany is one of the most beautiful stories in the Gospels. Driven by her overpowering emotion, Mary performed probably the most radical and inspiring demonstration of love to Jesus that secured her a permanent position in History.
