In this episode, “Creating a Family Charter,” Sharon and Joan introduce the concept of a Family Charter – what it is, why your family would benefit from having one, and how to go about creating one. They invite Heather Rogers, Head of Keys School, to share about her family’s personal experience with creating a family charter.
Why do you need a family charter?
Heather Rogers – “If you don’t paint a picture of your expectations, if you’re not as articulate as you can be about what you’re expecting, then the other folks in your family don’t know what you want. And you’ll be disappointed when they keep missing the mark. A family charter helps to identify the values that are important to your family and gives you a framework for how you want to behave together.”
Please note that if you are a part of the Keys Community, we invite you to continue this conversation on KeysConnect.
