Alan is the general manager at the Henry Hotel in Dearborn, MI. The Henry has partnered with Mixter to help teach our students job skills. In this episode our podcasters discuss how to take care of pets and responsibilities involved.
It's important that our students build a rapport with the local police departments, so that students feel safe when faced with difficult situations in public and so that officers have the necessary communication tools needed to help support any of our students (or others with autism) when in difficult situations. This interview serves as an additional opportunity that our students have to connect with the Lincoln Park Police Department. A special thank you goes out to Sgt. Mueller for supporting our program and always being a part of our projects here at Mixter School. We truly appreciate you.
