There's so much TV, it’s time to talk about it in a different way. Hosted by TV development execs Dan Brown and Brandy Crawford-Uriu, TV BFFs is an interview show all about the TV shows that people love most!
Each episode we're bringing on guests to pick their Top 6 Shows of all-time, based on what we call the BFF Criteria. They choose 2 shows in each of the 3 categories: BEST, FAVORITE and FOREVER - get it? BFF! Basically, we’re creating all-time greatest TV lists based on the personality and experience of our incredible guests.
From comedians and podcasters to authors and producers, no two BFF Criteria are the same. So if you're looking for a new way to get TV recommendations or you just want to hear amazing personalities talk about the shows most influential to them, then TV BFFs is the podcast for you!
Dan & Brandy are back to chat all about the 2026 Emmy nominations. They celebrate the iconic series that are coming to an end as well as the upstart new shows that hope to make waves at this year’s awards.
Plus, they dive into the reality TV noms (Summer House, good! Survivor 50, not so good!), debate which shows do NOT belong in these nominations (and the snubs that should replace them), and then close out the episode with their thoughts about what this slate means for the future of TV.
Bravo experts Dan Calabrese and Brendan Davis (co-hosts of the Come Thru Queen podcast) join Dan & Brandy to dive deep into all things Bravo scandals! Recorded in the wake of “Scamanda / Westside Story” from Summer House, the crew debates whether this current story will go down in the pantheon of Bravo scandals.
Then, they zoom out and discuss the all-time Bravo scandals, from “Scandoval” on Vanderpump Rules, to the Jen Shah arrest and Reality VonTease of-it-all from Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, to the feuds, fallouts and falsehoods across RHO franchises like Atlanta, Beverly Hills and more.

Another year of television has come to an end, which means it’s time for the year-end tradition of selecting our BEST and FAVORITE shows that aired in 2025. But we’re doing things a little differently this time and bringing you our top 15 shows of the year.
First, Brandy and Dan debate and discuss what they think was the best TV of 2025 before settling on a shared list of five shows in the "best" category, and then they each pick five shows that were their personal "favorites" of the year. As always, it’s an eclectic and all-encompassing list that you don’t want to miss!
Voting for the 2025 Emmy Awards is happening as we speak, so Daryn Carp & Christian Banda join the TV BFFs to renew their rivalry with a draft where we predict what WILL win at the Emmy’s and reveal what we think SHOULD win. It’s a heated BFFs battle that results in an incredibly diverse, can’t-miss list of shows that aired within the 2025 Primetime Emmy window (June 2024 - May 2025).
TV producer and longtime friend of the pod Marni Ellis and her mom Felicia (co-hosts of the “Hi, Felicia! Podcast) join Dan & Brandy for a wide-ranging conversation about TV Miniseries. From the dawn of the genre on American TV in the 1970’s to the Emmy-worthy limited series of today - we dig into ALL of it. Then, we collectively debate our Top 10 Miniseries of all time and decide where they fall in our Best, Favorite and Forever Miniseries list.
Dan & Brandy take on the “mystery box” genre of TV with a discussion of Black Mirror S7 (01:20) and Severance S3 (09:32; 45:36). Then they craft a definition of the genre (18:53) before drafting their Mystery Box BFFs and creating a list of their collective top 10 mystery box TV shows of all-time (24:20). Finally, they debate whether new show Paradise will become part of mystery box canon (01:02:53). Will this podcast stick the landing? Tune in to find out!
Comedian Anna Roisman returns to TV BFFs to discuss The White Lotus season 3 from the lens of the iconic characters populating the Thailand resort. Plus, Victoria Ratliff stops by to say “NOOOOOO!”
Then we zoom out and chat about who we think are the BEST and our FAVORITE characters in TV history. We wrap up by choosing our FOREVER characters based on the question: If you could trade lives with one TV character, who would it be?
Reality TV experts Dan Calabrese and Brendan Davis (Come Thru Queen podcast) join Dan & Brandy to discuss the second half of The Traitors: US season 3. They react to the finale and reunion, debate how to fix the format going forward (Traitors: Exes?!?), and who should be cast in the next season. Plus, everyone reveals their BEST move of the season, their FAVORITE player (spoiler alert: it's unanimous), and the moments from this season that they'll think about FOREVER.
Then, they check in on the state of The Real Housewives Universe (Potomac, Salt Lake City, NYC & Atlanta) as well Summer House, Southern Charm and The Valley trailer, and then Dan reveals which Bravo show he is finally binging!
It’s the 50th Anniversary of Saturday Night Live! To celebrate, Dan & Brandy are joined by returning guests and SNL super-fans Casey Jost & Remy Kassimir to react to the SNL50 Anniversary Show plus the concert special and documentaries surrounding the event. We share stories from the epic weekend as well as our experiences attending tapings and working for the show. Then, we discuss every era in SNL’s 50-year history and debate which 5-year run is the BEST, which is our FAVORITE and which era we would watch FOREVER.
