For Filipinos, I’ve made this one for you. I know that we’ve got a long way to go when it comes to securing our finances, especially in terms of medical funding. We all know someone or maybe you’ve experienced firsthand how challenging it is to look for money when health is at risk. Not to make you worry but it’s just something we all need to be concerned about because we can definitely do something about it now rather than regret it later.

Let’s talk about coverage, shall we? Finally, a get ready with me video where I talked about health insurance. 💪🏼

Base make-up gives you the basic coverage. They fill in dark spots and redness in your face! In financial planning, this is what insurance does. The “base” insurance will give you coverage should emergencies like SAD (sickness, accidents, death) moments happen in your life. When talking about coverage, some would prefer a product where you can build up while others would want the full coverage onset. Honestly, it’s good to build up since you can base it on your existing cash flow and other current factors (like your lifestyle).

When you’re a fresh graduate or in an early stage in your career, this would be a more sustainable way as well. Since you prolly have no children or have no one depending on your income, you are basically depending on yourself. #lovemyself I’d recommend you start with a health fund first. Everyone should have one whether they dependents or none. I strongly recommend that you get this first because you have fewer responsibilities and have more room to adjust when it comes to important life decision-making.

If you’re a breadwinner and/or on a limited budget, I recommend you increase your cash flow AND limit your expenses (aka your negotiable expenses bc you can obviously survive a month without a new dress or a coffee in your hand (I know I said that but yes you can survive! Try water OR instant coffee or you could do intermittent drinking HIHI GIVING YOU SO MANY OPTIONS TO CHOOSE FROM BC YOU DON’T NEED EXCUSES. YOU NEED SOLUTIONS AND SACRIFICES. BEEN THERE, DONE THAT.) I’d still recommend getting a health fund first because there are products that also offer life insurance for your family to leave behind in the event of untimely demise. (Actually a 2-in-1 coverage for a swak budget yay!) Other than that, opt for a critical illness coverage “rider” on top of your insurance or investment plans. Better known as the Concealer in make-up hihi.

Anyways, please check out the video for more content about it. 💖

Heyo there! I’ve always wanted to do something like this. While filming this, the work wasn’t all bad. Just scared about how noisy the dogs or passing vehicles would get. This really helped me a lot and because I work alone most of the time, I always find some of these videos comforting. This is my 1st attempt and I enjoyed organizing the songs for you. Please look forward to more study/work with me videos so we can be productive together!

IT’S TIME TO IMPROVE OUR FINANCES AGAIN! 💸

Building a strong foundation takes time and patience. Starting with self-awareness is the very first thing that will help you build it. If you’re starting out on your career or you’re just looking to change your financial circumstances, build on these ideas so you can come up strong.

When you know better, you could do better. This is a summary of the building blocks/to-dos I did when I started my journey towards financial independence. This is a take-it-or-leave-it situation and you have to assess yourself on what matters most to you.

It doesn’t end up here, it takes action to make it. No perfect routines are allowed but I know that taking it one step at a time, at your own pace, can actually make a difference.

Hello virtual friends! It’s a personal video and I’m just posting this for creating the momentum teehee. Slowly going back to my work again. Happy 2022! 🥳

I have never thought about Reflections this serious way (much less make a video about it). There's always a first. I could've done more minutes, maybe a podcast type-25mins just to talk more about the regrets and good stuff about life. Listening to it again while uploading made me remember a lot of things:

(1) the battles won't just be in a days time. Could go on for years...,

(2) there's always a conversation going on in your mind and somehow, some way, you want to change or pivot the things you so badly want to take action,

(3) There's no getting there... I heard another definition from someone that "Success is not the end destination but the journey you take." And this one makes sense bc the moment you achieve something, you celebrate it and all. Before you know, you're moving on to the next destination.

That is not so bad at all, when you're striving for more. There's always that boundary between being grateful with what you have now and using it to maximize for the things you want in the future in order to help, to acquire, to grow more. We might be enjoying the journey. Gaaah the human evolution! Anyways, cheers to being grateful and wanting more. 💎

HMM ALSO, YOU CAN PLAY THE SPEED to 1.5 AND IT WILL ALSO SOUND GREAT!!! HEHE

I'd love for you guys to do these prompt reflections or just a self-expression whether you're into journaling, writing, (I mean you're on Hive...) filming or do all of it. Atleast you have a record of your past feelings, issues, and whatnot. Anyways, cheers again!

OH AND IF YOU DO IT, TAG ME IN YOUR POSTS SO I CAN REBLOG AND ALSO GET TO KNOW YOU. TEEHEE!!!

Heyo guys! Already uploaded this on my YT channel Design your Finance. Before diving into Hive, I've been using the platform for so long and I've just recently started creating my own content. Anyways, this is different from my usual financial videos. You could see how my editting skillz haven't grown so much but my interest in self-development will always stay strong.

You could probably relate this with my Hive introduction... that I really needed to do something but I lost track of the joy (and hmm passion) that I needed to function. #searchforhappiness Comparing it to my past journal entries, I realized that it was still the same issue. I want to change it.

Anyways, a confession: this is a love and hate topic for me because it's concerning and crippling. I've come to learn more about it and now, I'll be using what I know to do something TO GET BETTER.
