This is my platform to...speak. Not for anyone but myself because for so long I didn't think what I said mattered. For as long as I can remember, I stifled my voice, my essence, my power... I didn't want to do too much or offend or be overly seen. I just naturally thought I should be meek and not shake anything up.
These reflections are me shaking my s**t up. Holding myself accountable, realizing my potential, questioning things, appreciating life and most of all being myself. Fully.
I hope when you listen you hear something that makes you feel seen, free... liberated.
Love Always.
Xai.
On this episode I sat down with my bestie, Kayla, and we discussed our life transitions. We reflected and got candid about where we've been and where we are going.
Thanks for listening.

I think I talked about everything under the sun today (grief/love/kids/purpose) because that's just how I was feeling. Also the movie "Everything, Everywhere, All at Once" is really good. It's heavy out here, good people. Find your liberation by any means necessary. Trust yourself.
Today I was in my feelings about the state of the world. Self awareness is the beginning for me. Know who you are and stand firmly in it. War isn't just physical.
Today I kept it real regarding the state of the world, feeling shit (and letting it go), and not going to a 4 year university if you aren't feeling called to. Song that inspired the title: "Count Me Out" - Kendrick Lamar
Really enjoying sharing my stories and poetry. This particular one is about the deepest pain and the journey to being free.
Decided that I wanted to share my poetry. It's cool to write but I have to speak it into the atmosphere too.
My reflection this week focuses on me revisiting a friend this week after a long dry spell and not feeling like I'm used to. I think I'm growing up & out, which is scary but so necessary. As I get older, my needs and wants are changing and that's okay. I'm the type of person that holds on to nostalgia and wanting old feelings back. My goal moving forward IS to look forward to new experiences. That is what this reflection is about. Forward movement! UPWARD MOBILITY DAMMIT.
I love you for listening <3
