All the best interviews from the The Weekly Experience show, when we record our bits for the show some are too good to cut down, so they are here for all to enjoy.
Ann Nelson and her friend Joyce appealed through social media, posters, and word of mouth, to the people of Farnborough, asking them to contribute their experiences of the pandemic years 2020/2021 to a memory book.
Over 100 children wrote down their thoughts and experiences. They were moved to laughter and tears by the children's amazing contributions.
Other contributors of all ages have offered poems, photographs and written a range of articles for inclusion in the book which they have called Farnborough Folk - The Lost Years?
Copies of Farnborough Folk-The Lost Years? are now available at a cost of £10 each. All profits will go to local mental health charities.
Buying a copy will give you something to hand down to your children and grandchildren.

Exciting times lay ahead for Fleet Market and the team that are working on breathing new life into Fleets weekly market.
They have recently secured funding and with that brings lots of possibilities, blue sky thinking and a never-ending amount of energy and passion.
Not just a market, but a place for the local community to meet, ponder and pause a while, whilst they enjoy the entertainment and that is all part of the plan.
We caught up with Tracey today and she bought us up to speed with all their plans for Fleet.
It's a busy time for Fleet Bid over the next few weeks as they work towards securing another year of working with the local businesses in town. The benefits that this collaboration brings to the town are obvious for all to see.

Mums really do know best! Hear how Susan Stewart used her own personal circumstances to create a story of hope, in her debut - dyslexia friendly - children’s book; ‘Dog-Lexius: A Tale of Two Friends.’
A desire to write was always within Susan, but it was only after experiencing her own family trials that she was able to access her unique creative flow with a subject that was very close to her heart. Susan shares her own personal journey of discovering dyslexia with her son from the tender age of 5; the time when her initial suspicions arose.
We hear how frustrations propelled her to want to help others and shine the light on the diagnosis process and how as a parent, you can best support your child, whilst not condemning yourself too.
‘Dog-Lexius’ is a dyslexia friendly, fantasy text, about a boy who realizes he has dyslexia and discovers that it’s his superpower!

She tells us the All in the Mind Festival is the largest outdoor mental health arts festival in the UK, and it is returning to Glebe Gardens in Basingstoke in September.

What can it be like to write books for children, well we manage to grab a chat with this local man Tim Pearce to have a chat with us about writing a book and especially for children, he explains how it came about and the many things you encounter on the way?
Here’s what one person thought of the book he wrote entitled ‘Secret Agent Striker’
Really enjoyed this book. Sam is a lovable joker children will relate too and Agent Smith is like your clueless nan who has no idea whats going on in the 21st century. This book will capture childrens imaginations with a mystery they could try to solve and some laughs along the way. Very enjoyable read.

The project, managed by Hart District Council, aims to create a more connected environment that will improve walking and cycling links to Fleet’s railway station.
The pond has varied habitats surrounding it, including heathland, marsh, reedbed and woodland. The pond is first documented in 1324, when there were two ponds which were used as a fishery. In medieval times, "pond" always referred to a man-made structure, whereas "lake" referred to a natural feature, and so it is likely that the ponds were created by raising banks at the northern edge.

Roger had some fun trying to get the locals to talk to him, most of the time there were too busy with their day, but we did get few people who had the time to talk.
