Let's get AMNT, people! I'm Stacey, I'm a 26 year old from Australia and I'm a mutant with EDS and POTS (and I also happen to be a registered psychologist). Listen to me yell into the void while also talking about living with a chronic illness.
Hi everyone, it's Stacey. Welcome to Episode 2 of the Adult Mutant Ninja Turtle Podcast. In this episode I share my initial experiences with Prolotherapy (i.e. injecting all the mutant joints to make them less 'dislocate-y') and delve into some of the issues I've had with my unstable joints (including potential cervical instability - aka the 'loosey goosey neck').
1st appointment - the joints I had injected (1 injection in each joint) - both thumbs, both shoulders, right knee, and 2 injections in the back of the neck at the C1 and occipital nerve area. *
2nd appointment - the joints I had injected (1 injection in each joint) - left knee, both ankles, both wrists. *
- I realise I didn't explain the areas of injection too well or in great detail but I will try to do that in Part 2 when I go back for the second lot of injections and I will give a bit more of a summary to the whole experience.
