In the last of the series before a short break, Jon teaches what Jesus shows us about personal prayer and provides some practical tips on how to grow in prayer as part of our daily walk with Jesus.
On the first in an occasional series, Jon shares what Jesus meant when He said "I am the light of the world, anyone who follows me will never walk in darkness but have the light of life."
This week, Jon shares about how the Holy Spirit helps us in our prayers by leading and inspiring our prayers, empowering and encouraging us to pray, and praying for us when we're lost for words.
Continuing our series on prayer, Jon shares about how we approach God in prayer through Jesus and not in our own right. Praying through the Son also means that we ask God for things in the authority of His name and in line with who He is.
Kicking off our new series about Prayer, Jon speaks about praying to our Father as the foundation of getting started in prayer. We're not approaching some cold, distant God we have to convince to listen; we're praying to our good Father who loves us, cares for us, and wants to hear what we have to say.
On our first public Sunday meeting, Jon Sidnell outlines the Trinity Life vision and mission that we feel God has given us. We believe that He is calling us to be a church that shows Swindon what it looks like to live life with a Good Father, in the Son, by the Holy Spirit, Together, on Mission.
