In this episode, Pastor Jay Lee interviews Christine Osbrink (@the.fourfour) who actively practices the miraculous gifts of the Spirit, such as: of tongues, word of knowledge, and prophecy. Pastor Jay, who does not have any of these "miraculous" gifts of the spirit, explores both the Biblical teaching as well as Christine's personal experiences, asking very specific and personal questions of Christine to try and dig for truth on this very mysterious and debated issue. Christine closes the interview by praying in tongues.

- Where does the Bible teach us about spiritual gifts?
- Is there any solid Biblical argument that some of the gifts have ceased?
- What if you are wrong about a "word of knowledge" or "prophecy"?
- Can Christine understand what she is praying in tongues?

CJ has always enjoyed discipling, writing, singing and doing visual art, as a creative soul at heart, but her calling to minister in that capacity on Instagram began 4-4-21, as a spoken word poet/preacher, and to champion unity among believers, hence Ephesians 4:4 was the verse that birthed the IG account name. God clearly spoke to her to step in and He gets all glory for the platform and content, as He is the giver! In this episode, Pastor Jay Lee interviews self-professing atheist and skeptic Calvin Smith. In the first half, Pastor Jay poses some questions about the problems of finding meaning & purpose in life and the grounding of any objective sense of morality without the existence of a god, and how logical evidence suggests the possible existence of a god. In the second half, Calvin poses some questions to Pastor Jay about the immoral actions of God in the Bible, the equivalence of the Bible with other religious texts like the Quran or Book of Mormon, and reasons why we should believe in Jesus over any other god.

Larissa, whose career has spanned many areas of entertainment as a music producer, songwriter, touring performer, actress, tv host, podcaster, and filmmaker, she has a unique perspective on what it's like to be an: Asian-American, Woman, and Christian in these spaces.
In the interview we explore how a lack of Asian representation in media was limiting for us growing up. Amanda attended New York University, majoring in Dramatic Writing but was not a believer at the time. She would never have imagined using all of the things she learned there to create a Christian podcast. This endeavor, the “A Cup of Gratitude” podcast, is being listened to worldwide! It has far surpassed any of her expectations. Amanda’s goal was to provide a platform for people to share their stories and, as a result, to share God’s story. With no agenda other than finding the way to view lives through the lens of gratitude, she has chosen to keep this podcast as a ministry with no monetization of any kind. Dr. Wang is a licensed psychologist, pastor, and associate professor of psychology and pastoral counseling. He is the editor of the Journal of Psychology and Theology and serves on the editorial board for Spirituality in Clinical Practice. He is principle investigator of the Seminary Formation Assessment Project, a research program funded by the John Templeton Foundation conducting longitudinal empirical research on the human and spiritual formation of students. He is also co-principle investigator of the Trauma-Resilient Church Collective Program, a 5-year project funded by the Lilly Endowment mobilizing diverse local congregations to address both individual and systematic factors as they meet the spiritual and mental health needs of trauma survivors.
Dr. Wang teaches and speaks internationally, maintains a small clinical practice in Fullerton, CA (drdavidcwang.com), is the pastor of spiritual formation at One Life City Church (onelifecitychurch.org) and serves on the board of directors for Joya Scholars (joyascholars.org). He also consults with the Global Aftercare Program of the International Justice Mission (ijm.org; an international non-profit organization devoted to ending the global slave trade) and has co-authored their manual on Trauma Informed Care. Dave and his wife Vivian live with their two daughters in Fullerton.
