Welcome to Equipping the Saints! This podcast is for those looking to introduce themselves to the Bible, deepen their understanding of Scripture, and build a solid Bible routine. Through the Word of God, we learn how to be an immovable soldier of Christ and glorify His name in our everyday conduct.
New episodes will be uploaded weekly. In addition, beginning on June 1st, we will begin a daily Bible reading plan.

In today's episode, Ryan points us to Romans chapter 6 to help us have a better understanding of what Christ did for His chosen people, and what He expects from us. God's commandments and lovingkindness is not obscure or hard to find, but there is a vast difference between knowing God's Word and doing it.
Are we doing it? Do we even know what He has commanded us to do in the last 4,000 years? It's time to dust off the Bible and cling to it like our soul depends on it....because it does.

In our final week of completing the "State of Theology" survey, we see where we stand, as well as where our fellow believers stand. I hope you found this to be a sobering experience. The church at large is in serious trouble because its members believe all manners of falsehood and have no depth of the knowledge of God. Please pray for your fellow Christians that they would dive into God's Word with a sense of urgency to discover how God wants to be represented.
On today's episode, we continue going through "The State of Theology", a survey taken by professing evangelical Christians on what they believe. We will be completing another 10 questions, seeing what the Bible actually says, and what percentage agree or disagree with each statement.

Every two years, Lifeway and Ligonier Ministries come together to test the spiritual waters to see what modern Christians believe. This survey, called "The State of Theology", is given to thousands of people across the United States who profess to be Evangelical Christians. The results are startling.
A bad theology is a very dangerous to have. How we understand God, Christ, and the Bible shape our very existence. Do we believe in the absolute truth or in the lies that the world tells us?
Over the course of the next 3 weeks, we will take the survey ourselves. We will challenge what we believe and if it matches what the Bible says by looking at Scripture that talk about these very topics.
I thank and give full credit of this study to the good people at Lifeway and Ligonier and thank them for their faithful pursuit in shedding light on the reality of the Christian world today.
