Alishia shares one of the traumatic experiences that led her on a path of rebellion and destruction. In her attempt to avoid becoming everything she vowed not to be she found herself chasing worthiness in every aspect of her life. She found herself striving for success because she had no revelation of how to surrender to God. She encourages the listener to think about their own story...their own trauma and how it has impacted who they are today. God cannot heal what we hide. We have to admit that we have allowed our trauma to control our lives, we have to surrender to God, replace the lies of the enemy with the truth of God's word and allow him to heal and transform our hearts in the way that ONLY HE CAN!
