- We dove into the DeFi pools on TribalDex. Jon is convinced, there is no such thing as impermanent loss when you love both tokens in a pool!
- Big news is that you can now upgrade in ListNerds using LISTNERDS, Hive and HBD again! We're still working on devloping and fixing the recurring part of the subscriptions however this is there as a temporary fix until we do.
- Splinterfest! Will Jon and Blain be attending? Sure, if Canada lets someone back across the border lol
- And.....Concert talk! Yeah, absolutely nothing to do with crypto but....Hey it was fun :)

Tonight we addressed the elephant in the room when it comes to ListNerds
Reputation scores!
The whole idea behind this, was to help new members discover amazing creators in the platform and follow their lead. The problem has become, the reputation scores seem to have morphed into....A participation trophy !
We want people to win! Big time!
However we also want people to 'get better' every day. And if everyone is getting 100 reputation scores, no one is getting better. We've simply created a way for everyone to put it into cruise control.
We have over 130 creators on ListNerds, currently with a 100 rep. score.
And over 140 with 90 or higher.
This told us...We need to adjust a few things.
We took it to the ocmmunity and everyone in attendence seemed to agree, it's time for a change.
A few notes:
- We have reset everyone to a 25 rep.
- This does NOT hurt your ability to earn on CTP / ListNerds rewards in the slightest
- We've made some changes in the back ground to make it 'harder' to earn a reputation
We know this isn't going to sit well with everyone, and we do apologize for those that might feel slighted.
We want ListNerds to be the premier content discovery tool on Hive, and need to make sure....Reputations on ListNerds are something to work for. Something to be proud of. And to get better for!

I tonight's Thursday Night Live we made an announcement on the changes we have made to your vote value on ListNerds.com
Here's the formula that you can find out how much your vote is worth on the platform:
Your Stake / The Top Stake X 10 = Vote Value
So to break it down, we'll use my account to determine my vote value (@jongolson)
(All information is provided on the 'RICHLIST' inside of the platform)
3133 Staked ListNerds / 11,845 (top staked by @jimmy.adames) X 10 = 2.64 Vote Value
What does this mean?
When I use my vote on ListNerds, I influence 2 things:
- The reputation of the sender, it can go up or down by 2.64 points
- The score needed to verify the email to receive LISTNERDS tokens. So example, every message needs a score of 20 in order to be validated, I can influence the score up or down by 2.64
There are a few reasons we decided to give this new model a try but the biggest reason, as we discuss in the video above...
The more LISTNERDS you stake on the platform, the more influence you should have on it.
We think this will allow more LISTNERDS to get distributed as the higher stakers of the token have a vested interest in it's success. So if they are voting on content, they will want only the best content to be rewarded!
So far, the numbers have looked promising but nothing is ever written in stone. At the end of the day, we want the members of ListNerds to benefit the most!
