According to the Joshua Project, unreached people groups are those who have “few evangelicals and few who identify as Christians. Little if any, history of Christianity.” (joashuaproject.net/global/progress, 2022) There are currently 7,387 unreached people groups; that is a total of 3,287,257,000 people or 42% of the world who have not yet heard the Good News of Jesus Christ. This week, we hear from missionary Ann Burgess, who worked with the unreached Mien people in Thailand. Ann has spent the last 40 years learning the language, translating to provide a Bible in their language, the first time ever for this people group. Galcom partners with numerous ministries in South Sudan, and to date has sent more than 120,000 radios so that people in South Sudan can hear the Good News of Jesus in their heart language.
