(http://competitorradio.competitor.com/files/2013/02/cmr2.png)Colleen De Reuck made three Olympic teams for South Africa and one for the U.S. She has a marathon PR of 2:26:35 and in 2013, at the age of 49, she won a marathon overall with a time of 2:39:22 and qualified for the 2016 U.S. Olympic marathon trials. Colleen, now 50 and an age group triathlete, won her division at Ironman 70.3 Hawaii, was the second age group woman overall, dominated her division, and her 1:25:28 half marathon was the fastest for any pro or age group woman in the race!

A friend loaned him a bike and suggested he try his first triathlon at the Tri Rock Philly in 2011. He loved the experience and, even though he swam breaststroke for a big part of the swim, he ended up finishing seventh in his division in the sprint race. His goal now is to become the first African American professional triathlete and to one day make the U.S. Olympic triathlon team.
