After being at the forefront of the Hard Techno scene in his home country for more than a decade, and after completing multiple tours in LATAM and EU, he is now based in Bogota, Colombia. Here, Carlos found comfort in a new sound, a new aesthetic, and a new alias that references the core of his influences as a young raver. Confidential Recipe is the outcome of a lifetime of explorations in the raw sounds of Techno, Jacking, House, and Electro. His DJ'ing style is something that characterizes his approach when it comes to making tunes. Having created and promoted several events throughout his entire career, Confidential Recipe knows how to engage with the energy of the crowd. Istanbul born and based Ferhat Albayrak is one of the true pioneers of techno in his territory. Istanbul, a city of chaos and diversity, reflects and forms the basics of Ferhat’s Sound in terms of dynamism: distinctive, seductive, innovative and Technologic with soul. He has been is a passionate Techno-Head since the beginning and Techno is the best genre for him to express himself in the object of the beat. He is spinning Techno since 1996, his impressive and endless gig portfolio includes Space Ibiza, Global Gathering UK, Sonar Festival, Love Parade and many others, inc. almost every clubs & festivals in the region. His discography since 2007 includes respected labels like Tronic, Intec, Second State, Elevate, KD Raw to name a few. “Evolving Wisdom” released on Jeton Records reached No:3 Spot on Beatport Techno Chart and this success let him to be known from different territories. He has been heavily supported by Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, Adam Beyer who play and release his music consistently, share the same stage several times. Ferhat also runs his own label, Jeton Records est. in 2009, became the first and the biggest international imprint coming out from the region, also managed to be the biggest Techno promoter in his own country.

Hey guys,i am really proud to present a very new episode of the Global Grooves Radioshow. For this show i invited a really special artist. I just love what she is doing! Here some facts out of her BIO she is telling you:"I dreamed of making music back in the 70s. At that time I was an absolute Hard Rock fan and I loved thesound of Status Quo and AC/DC later on. I always wanted to play electric guitar and I kept bugging myparents about it until they finally bought me a cheap Strat copy and a small amp in a departement store.I was then the guitarist in our school band. We played the songs of our idols and partly our own. No onenew notes, everything by ear. We were well known in our town and had a great time.Then in the 80s funk and soul music made me sit up and take notice. This driving groovy sound had done itto me. I was by chance (in the early 80s) Djane in a small disco in our town and played the popular disco,soul and funk hits of the 70s and 80s.That was also the time when i first got in touch with sythesizers. We still had our band and one day we hada keyboard player. He had a Yamaha synth that caught my attention. And then came the time of synth popwith Depeche Mode, Human League, Duran Duran, just to name a few.I don't remember exactly when I first came aware of techno music. Artists like Jeff Mills, Robert Hood, SteveStoll, Richie Hawtin, K.Hand etc. flashed me with their minimalist sound. The sound of the drummachinesthat was so incredibly on point and those blubbing basslines and never heard before sounds andrhythms...outstanding! That's what I wanted to do.But I always torn between Techno (Detroit, Minimal, Acid) and House music (Acid house, Chicage, New York,Vocal, Minimal).I put together a small setup with Atari computer, Steinberg Cubase, Roland D20, Juno 106, TR-707, AkaiS700 and various outboard, mixer and speakers. That's how it started with electronic music and ended in1999. I sold everything, did nothing for 10 years. This was for family reasons.In 2009 it started again, but only in the box. Propellerhead Reason, Ableton Live and so on.That was fun, but I was always dissatisfied with the results.I can't do arrangements, that's horror for me. I love to jam and with software and controllers I didn't enjoythat.So I bought hardware again. Elektrons, Volcas, Roland Airas and some more. But I wasn't happy with all thegreat gear.I knew that modular synths and eurorack existed, but never believed that this would be something for me.And then it happened: I watched a YT video in which someone was doing techno music with his euroracksystem. I was blown away and immediately excited, but I didnt know how it worked.I had no idea about the individual modules and their functions, because I didn't know how a synth is built,not to mention synthesis.So I first bought a case. This stood unused in the room for one year, because I didn't know with whichmodules I shoul start.After watching a lot of YT vids and tutorials, I've started with the construction of the system. And I couldmake sounds, but they were far from techno ;)It was a very long way and I paid a lot of dues. Here some Infos about him from his BIO: Since 2016, his residency at Watergate has been illuminating Berlin's nightlife quite brilliantly, whilst he continues to play clubs and festivals all over the planet: from Warung in Brazil and the Rex Club in Paris to BPM Festival in Mexico, Strawberry Fields and Let Em Eat Cake in Australia or Woogie Weekend in California. 2017 sees the arrival of Oliver Huntemann's 5th album “Propaganda”, trailered by two EPs entitled Rotlicht and Poltergeist. happy to be back with an amazing guest mix by no one othr then Sisko Electrofanatik. Here some Infos about Sisko: Sisko Electrofanatik was born in Rome. Since he was very young, he has been attracted to dance music, and with time he developed a strong interest in the various facets of house and electronic music. He then started working in multiple clubs in the Italian capital from a young age. His DJing style was always heavily steeped in electronic sounds, which is why he ended up being nicknamed “Electrofanatik”. After a few years of gigs, he started feeling the need to create a more personal sound, so he began working on his own productions, expressing his creativity through the current underground style of electronic and techno music. His productions reached several top 10 charts on Beatport and other stores, garnering acclaim and being played by internationally-renowned artists: Carl Cox, Adam Beyer, Richie Hawtin, Sam Paganini, Alan Fitzpatrick, Amelie Lens, Chris Liebing, Markantonio, Umek and more... He also collaborates with major labels such as Intec, Suara, We Are The Brave, JAM, Analytictrail, Unrilis, OFF, Phobiq, Codex, IAMT, Fe Chrome, Say What, Yoshitoshi, Bush, Autektone, Armada Music and more. Today, he continues to produce and play live at clubs and festivals around the globe with dedication and passion, championing his unique “Electrofanatik” style. In addition he founded the GAIN RECORDS label, focused on a raw/ melodic techno peak time sounds.
He also works with the major brands of producers sample packs, music apps & softwares as sound designer and collaborate with FM/web radio stations and streaming around the world, with his radioshow.

welcome back to Global Grooves Radioshow Episode 35. For this episode i invited Terminal 23 from Hamburg for you. Terminal 23 was launched more than 10 years ago when the duo from Hamburg discovered their shared passion for techno. After both members studied at the SAE in the music department, further progress was made to run the project professionally. Since then the sound has moved through many facets of techno music - until finally the love for the fundamentals of techno music was rediscovered: groovy drums with a hypnotic and raw vibe. As founders of the collective RE:TOX they already brought this vibe to several partys in the last years. Through this event they bring together artists and djs with similar approaches to connect with creative minds and further establish the techno sound and be a part of it with their own productions.

Here a short bio of his career so far: Rostock-bred Carlo became fascinated by the sound of music at an early age. In his youth he was often the last person on the dancefloor in the early hours, and in 2001 he bought his first turntables and mixer, built a small studio in his parents' attic, and recorded his first set to tape. His devotion to the minimalist aesthetic was forged in these early sets, and continues it continues to be his calling card. Carlo adopted a DJ alias - “Jason Wawn” - and soon became a regular fixture of clubs and open air parties in northern Germany. With his horizons broadening further, and after stepping out from behind the mask to embrace his real name, Carlo Ruetz went on to blaze the stage at ENTER. Ibiza at Space, FUSE Brussels, TOFFLER Rotterdam, 10 DAYS OFF - The Last Waltz Ghent, and a 2015 tour through India. Carlo began writing his own compositions in 2010, inspired by artists like Heinrichs & Hirtenfellner, Daniel Steinberg and Magda, and the following year he made a successful debut with I'm Fucking Famous. Handmade EP through Alfred Heinrichs and his homebase-label Supdub followed, with further releases for Moonplay Records and Slaap Records, before the game-changing arrival of Breakthrough through Supdub Digitales in March 2013. Carlo Ruetz is Known for starting from scratch with every production, mining deep for unexpected sounds and arrangements, and taking compelling bends and turns while in the DJ booth. It's no surprise that Richie Hawtin counts Carlo Ruetz as part of the new Minus generation. With forthcoming heat lined up with future releases, and more clubs and festivals switching on to the distinctive Carlo Ruetz sound, expect to hear more from this overnight veteran who exists at the leading edge of minimalism and techno.

Six Dimensions stands for Hypnotic/Constructive/Driving Techno.
After they lost the sight of each other since childhood they have met randomly on a Techno Festival in Frankfurt again in 2010. They discovered that both of them got the same passion for Techno. Five years later they moved to Hamburg to get more into Music. In the last few years they played Gigs in several Locations in and around Hamburg as well as got into Music Production, with no Releases yet but probably you can expect some in the near Future.
As Members of the RETOX Collective they have planned a few Parties over the past three Years. From last year on they are planning build up an own Collective called „6D.“. They want to share their spacy wormhole Sound with the People of Night and bringing back that Raw, Hypnotic Groove from the first days of Techno.

About Omis:
Simone Gentile AKA Omis Italy, from Turin, Italy is a Dj/Producer born in 1991. In constant evolution, always looking for new targets and more challenges, experimenting uncommon paths and inventing innovative sound languages. Since his early age of seventeen, full immerge him self into the music productions, achieving great success over the years and affirming himself into the Techno Scene. After many years of refine his personal taste of music, he finally decided to create his own label named "Black Nemesis Records" born in 2020, having on board great artists such as: "Alex Costa , Richard Cleber, Noemi Black,Shay de Castro, Luis Miranda, Bleur&MB1, Don Weber,Audio State and Ben Teufel" to name a few and unavoidably his own incredible productions.

He is been supported by some of the big techno titans such as: In 2019 "Charlotte De Witte" supported "Omis Italy - Madness (Original Mix)"as her favourite track in her BBC1 Radio Show. In 2019 "Omis Italy - Inside The Mind (Original Mix)” was selected by "Dj Mag" in the "10 Massive Techno Tracks - Drumcode Festival Offsònar". Many of his tracks have been played in the most important festivals around the globe such as: "Time Warp, Tomorrowland, Awakenings, Movement" and many more He also managed to have articles dedicated to him on the most important nightlife newspaper, such as: "Dj Mag, Electronic Groove" and many others.
