Maureen, Paul and guests

In Our Big Blether we're hoping to make some new connections with people we work with, people we've heard about and people who inspire us.One of our inspirations, Brene Brown, tells us that her research all points towards the fact that we're hardwired for connection. We need each other, and these connections can build or diminish our resilience and wellbeing.Join us as we meet and connect with people.

Welcome to Our Big Blether.
In this, our second podcast, we get to spend an hour with Marie Porteous. We're delighted to be able to share our blether with Marie as we prepare to host #COP26 in Glasgow.
Marie is the Head of Sustainability and Environment Manager for NHS Lanarkshire. She has recently taken on new responsibilities within the 'cutting edge' (that's for the surgeons) Monklands Hospital Replacement Programme.
Marie shares her story and also tells us about her passion for encouraging us all to make small changes to our daily living that have wide reaching consequences for the global environmental crisis...she also shares about CEEFAX and how it can support relationships! Does this podcast know no bounds?

We hope you enjoy our big blether with Marie as much as we did.

Welcome to Our Big Blether. In this, our launch podcast, we get to spend an hour with Peter McCrossan. It seems so appropriate that Peter is our first guest, and that we're launching the podcast on this day when we celebrate the variety of AHPs in Scotland and further afield. #AHPsDay
Peter is the Director of Allied Health Professions in NHS Lanarkshire.
Peter shares his story and also tells us about his interests and wishes for the future.

An introduction to Our Big Blether.

**We both work in NHS Lanarkshire where we believe that the people of Lanarkshire have the right to live the best lives they can. We believe that to help towards this aim, it’s important that we do it in an environment that helps people grow. This podcast is our contribution to growing a safe, values-based culture that sets the right conditions for people to flourish.

We hope you will join us and our guests as we blether...**
